Elite Lodi Reviews
I like everything I have tried. The price is low compared to other restaurants.
I mean, come on who doesn’t Love Bill Miller BBQ!!?!!? I grew up on Bill Miller bbq, as always the food is great. The jalapeños are fat and juicy, and as always atmosphere is great.
Reading reviews and just wanted to voice my opinion. My family loves this Bill Millers in Portland. Our food 19 times out of 20 is really good. The 1 time it is wrong they make it right. Wanted to add this can't wait to get the Turkey and dressing. Awesome green beans are the best. Price is great and when I get home in the next town my food is still hot. Thank you
Being from San Antonio, Bill Miller’s was our go-to every weekend. We stopped for breakfast recently at the Portland location, but it just didn’t taste the same—I think the tortillas were different. A little disappointing!
Fried chicken was hot, fresh and juicy. My 3 meat plate ($20) not so much. Brisket, bbq chicken and pork ribs all seemed to be older.. well less fresh. Sides were fine.
In a state filled with BBQ joints you need to do better. The brisket was meh. Sadly, I didn’t have the appetite to try other options. Everything smelled great, but the brisket tacos I ate left me down, unfortunately. I would give them another chance next time I’m in town to try the ribs or sausage.
When ever we are in town we patronize this bill millers but last week we ordered the chicken and I strongly believe it was fried twice to sell and it actually looked like beef jerky. So we returned it and the second order was not fully cooked and we just couldn’t eat it. But I can actually say that the service was good as always but I don’t think we will patronize this location again.
Pretty average BBQ. The food wasn’t bad, but it felt more like chain-style cooking than real smoked flavor. Service was fine, just nothing memorable about the meal overall.
Placed an online order for $140 worth of brisket, ribs, sausage, chopped brisket and 2 sides. Food looks decent but be warned, they're a bit stingy on the BBQ sauce, pickles and onions. Even with that much if a meat purchase, they gave us absolutely no BBQ sauce, or free pickles/onions and the brisket and ribs definitely need a little help of bbq sauce (very dry).
I am beyond pissed i.ordered a turkey sliced from Portland .. they said this was 10 pound it is not at all I am pisssed this cant feed my family
Well, I always like to try BBQ places in Texas. This is not one to try again. Meat looks old, BBQ sauce tastes like tomatoe paste, chicken is dry. I don't know if it's all of the stores or just this one. 👎👎
Had the worst experience ever today. Sat in the drive thru for 40 minutes waiting on my order only to be given cold food. No one even apologized for the wait time, in fact they acted like we were annoying them for even being there. Will not visit the Portland location again even though it is a mile away from my home.
Man I love BBQ and I mean I thought I loved all BBQ. That was until I ate at Bill Millers BBQ and for the first time was astonished that someone could make BBQ sauce that bad and ribs that could disappoint. I thought surely that's the only bad thing on my plate but the coleslaw is coleslaw in name only. It was cabbage in a vinegar sauce. If I offered this meal as an alternative to prison food I'm pretty sure 9/10 inmates would turn their nose up and choose to eat a nutria brick. If you want to waste your money and wish you'd have just gone hungry eat here. the saving grace is the tamales where at least edible.
Ordered the Bill Miller breakfast. Such a disappointment after getting home too see my plate. I ordered it with sausage and added a side order of bacon. Each slice of bacon looked as if it was split in half going down the middle. It wasn’t even the whole slice of bacon. 3 slices were more like one whole slice and a half all together.
Everytime and I mean EVERYTIME we go they miss stuff on the order and I have to in to fix it. Then they treat you like crap for simply saying they messed it up and I would like it fixed. Don't even get me started on asking for extra pickles or extra sauce, they treat it like its a damn crime to even ask and get all snarky. I just spent 60$ dollars in your damn restaurant you can afford an extra cup of sauce. I'm really disappointed in the place I hope they get better.
Don't waste your time! Worst BBQ ever. We ordered the brisket with two sides. The green beans weren't edible and the brisket was barely edible. The mac and cheese was good. My husband chose two servings of the mac and cheese for his two sides, and we were charged extra even though the meal includes two sides. Hmmm. I only gave it one star as I couldn't post otherwise.
