Rosso Lodi Reviews
i’m obsessed with this new Argentinian spot in the city. the food was great, we had the milanesa as our main and every bite was incredible. also ordered the ham croquetas and spanish tortilla, also incredible. our server was super nice and helped us with our selections. the vibes are also beautiful. can’t wait to be back and try the rest of the food!
Wonderful place, one of the best wine bars in Manhattan!! The food and the atmosphere were one of a kinda, you gotta try the focaccia and the beef milanesa. I fully recommend you visit this place!
Great new place in the East Village for incredible wines and tapas! They also have a great brunch in the weekend where they serve the most amazing ricotta pancakes. Very cozy and charming. Highly recommended!
Customer service was amazing, we sat at the bar and the bartenders (Ruben, Ale and Cata) were great, super attentive and very friendly. The food incredible, Luis the chef did an amazing job.
rented out this entire bar for my sister’s bachelorette party, and all of the staff was so nice and so easy to work with - they treated us like family. the focaccia was AMAZING. i can’t wait to come again !!
So happy to have Rosso in New York, everything about this place is wonderful, excellent wine selection, the food is made with so much love and the ambiance feels like home away from home. I’ll be coming back very soon!!!
Really enjoyed eating and having some wine at Rosso. The food is delicious and the ambience is very nice.
A spot to wind down or recharge. •Drinks: Both whites and reds are rounded. •Light Bites (wine pairings): I recommend the olives, focaccia (made in house), and ricotta. •Food: The empanadas, milanesa, Spanish tortilla, and basque cheesecake are best for a sit down. •Ambiance: Perfect blend of intimate and cozy, but elevated. Mario’s design and signature touch is magic.
Great service, Ruben, the manager/ bartender knows everything about wines. Great guy
I had an amazing time. The service was top-notch and they had a great selection of wines. The food was also really good.

Great vibes, delicious food, and excellent service. The standouts were the focaccia and the tomato fritters—the focaccia, in particular, was unforgettable. I understand why it’s a must-order. I also appreciate the focused, smaller menu—it makes each dish feel intentional and well-crafted. Unfortunately, they were out of the Basque cheesecake that night, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for a date night or a girls' night out. Just note that the space is quite small, with limited seating for larger parties. A reservation is definitely recommended if you're coming with a group.
We had a great time! It felt like getting into a wine bar in Palermo, Buenos Aires! I really enjoyed it. Juli was great, making sure that we were having a great time the whole time. Would definitely go back anytime!
Amazing restaurant, great for birthday celebration. Best food, coolest vibe. Best staff!!
I had a fantastic experience at Rosso Bar in Manhattan. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. Their wine selection is extensive, featuring a variety of exceptional choices from around the world. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to recommend the perfect pairing. The small plates were delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommended for any wine lover!
Cozy wine bar with great atmosphere and delicious bites in East Village. I loved the focaccia and the tomato fritters. Perfect for a date or for a dinner with friends. Also, perfect if you just want to have a glass of wine accompanied with a delicious snack. 100% recommended!
Nestled in the heart of the East Village at 127 East 7th Street, Rosso Wine Bar offers an exceptional dining experience that seamlessly blends a cozy atmosphere with a curated selection of wines and tapas. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and attentive service make you feel right at home. One of the standout features of Rosso is their daily 2-for-1 wine special from 5 PM to 8 PM, making it an ideal spot for both casual meet-ups and special occasions. The menu, though thoughtfully concise, offers a delightful array of both hot and cold tapas. During our visit, we indulged in the Spanish Tortilla, Focaccia, and Burrata—all of which were exquisitely prepared and bursting with flavor. The hot dishes are particularly noteworthy. The Beef Milanesa Katsu Sando, priced at $15, offers a delightful fusion of textures and flavors. The Tomato Fritters at $13 are a must-try, delivering a crispy exterior with a savory, juicy interior. For those who appreciate traditional Spanish flavors, the Ham Croquetas at $10 and the classic Spanish Tortilla at $13 are both exceptional choices. Rosso’s commitment to quality extends to their beverage offerings as well. Whether you’re in the mood for a robust red or a crisp white, their wine list is both extensive and thoughtfully curated. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to assist in selecting the perfect pairing for your meal. The ambiance is further enhanced by low lighting and a curated music selection, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated environment. It’s the perfect setting for an intimate dinner or a gathering with friends. The combination of excellent service, delectable dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere makes Rosso a standout destination in New York City’s vibrant dining scene. In summary, Rosso Wine Bar is a gem in the East Village, offering a harmonious blend of ambiance, cuisine, and service. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s a dining experience that shouldn’t be missed.

Great spot. Server was really kind and they were able to make the mushroom empanadas vegan by not basting them with egg wash. They were really good

I just love their empanadas 😍 and the Gollum red wine is my favorite for sure.

They call themselves a wine bar but they’re not really a wine bar, more like a place that just happens to serve wine. They have a very limited selection of wines, their wine glasses are not good, and they poured the whole glass without letting us taste first. We only went for wine and not food so I can’t speak to the food, but I recommend they re-label themselves as a restaurant rather than a wine bar! All in all, it was fine.

Every person that works at this bar is very nice. However, we had a reservation and when we arrived they told us that the entire place was full and we could sit at a table outside. The table had one chair over a sidewalk cellar door and was not entirely safe. We waited around 15/20 minutes for someone to take our order then ordered a bottle of wine and our waiter didn’t come back for over an hour. The bottle of wine was $82 for a bottle that is actually valued at $11. Even though the staff is nice, it’s definitely very over priced and the wait times are VERY long.

I normally do not leave bad reviews but I feel compelled to say something about Rosso. We had a reservation for 7 people at 9pm for my friend’s birthday - some of us had traveled from afar to celebrate - and we were so excited to spend part of our evening at Rosso. Needless to say, our experience left something to be desired. Despite acknowledging that we had a reservation (we had the email), they said they were too full to seat us. They did not apologize either. It was a really disappointing experience and I advise you to take your business elsewhere.
