10/10 service was fantastic and professional. I had the 60 euro tasting menu and sake. (Most expensive option other al la carte priced about 9 euro per entree) There were around 8 dishes and each was unique and delicious. The service was very personalized, the chef not only tried to accommodate my personal tastes but also timed the dishes to be ready within 8 minutes of me finishing the dish before. 80 euro per person with drink and dessert, felt like Michelin star service.

This teeny, tiny place serves world class sushi and sashimi. The quality of the fish and the care of the owner is truly evident. Having had sushi in several high end establishments in various cities internationally (however not Japan) this mini joint puts all of their love in the food and very personal service. There is passion here. You might not think so walking in, but stay. Eat. You will be richly rewarded! FYI, I just kept eating because it was so good, but the food is underpriced for the quality and skill.

Delicious sushi, wonderful service. Being vegan, I thought I only had one option (avocado hosomaki) and I was fine with it, but the chef was so nice that when we told him I was vegan, he offered to make aome rolls for me that were not on the menu. They were amazing of course.

I was in Milan for two days with my sister, and after a busy day, we were on a mission to find good sushi. We discovered MINAMI, and from the moment we stepped in, we felt the strong character and great vibes of the place—it promised to be awesome, and it exceeded our expectations! The sushi was the best we’ve had—extremely fresh, with interesting combinations, perfect flavors, and textures. The service was outstanding, and the wine was marvelous. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended! I will definitely be back!

Great experience for the palate! The chef was patient in explaining every dish he creates on the dining table. He even ask if the food was enough, else he could make more. Best part was they bought in a whole birthday cake for my wife’s celebration and to be shared with all diners in the house. Small family biz but comes with Big heart and flavours. Will definitely go again when I think of quality Japanese food.

Small local sushi spot close to our hotel. Great sushi! Very good at what they do! The owners are awesome! Would definitely come back again next time we are in Milan!

They can fool Europeans, but they really can’t fool Asians—especially people who have been to Japan. I don’t understand why they put so much oil on sushi. The owner said he studied in Japan, but the food was really not authentic at all. As soon as you walk in, the decor is very poor. The tablecloths were dirty, and there were greasy marks on the plates. We ordered a €60 set menu oer person, but the menu didn’t even list what dishes were included. There were not many dishes. And the food arrived soooooo slow . When the food arrived, there was very little fish, just a very thin layer. Most of the rolls were filled with a lot of rice and avocado, with barely any fish. Altogether, the amount of fish felt like no more than 50 grams. It was completely not worth the price. Overall, it was very disappointing. Honestly, we would have been better off going to an all you can eat sushi restaurant.

Sorry, this has to be one of the biggest fails I've ever gotten myself into and I'm ashamed. The "restaurant" is a hole in the wall that probably got its furniture and interiors from the junkyard. And the food matches the interiors perfectly. Please just avoid!
