The place absolutely blew us away! The moment we walked in, the cosy, elegant vibe made the whole evening feel special. The mix of Peruvian and Japanese flavours is honestly a dream — every dish was beautifully presented and full of fresh, bold flavours. The kids had the best time — they loved the juicy steaks and chicken, and even the fresh sushi was a big hit! The truffle rolls were unforgettable, the mains were cooked to perfection, and the desserts tasted like pure art. The team were so warm and welcoming, especially with families, and watching the chef make the sushi rolls right in front of us was such a fun moment for the kids. If you’re looking for affordable fine dining with a unique twist, Ayllu is definitely a must-visit. We’ll 100% be coming back! Thanks to Foysal for an excellent costumer service.

Ate here on a Friday evening to celebrate my Fiancés 30th. The venue itself is stunning, underground so very dark and intimate but well designed, they also had a Spanish guitarist playing which was a nice touch. The food was incredible, we’ve traveled Peru and Japan and it was very authentic, and took us back to being there. Also, decent veggie and vegan options, which were considerably cheaper than the meat which is always a win in my book. The staff left a little to be desired. While we were checking in, one of the hosts literally barged me out the way to take the tablet from our host. We also sat for quite a while before being asked about drinks. However when it all arrived it was great, and the staff were helpful once we had spoken to them. Overall would definitely recommend.

Excellent food and service. Busy even at 6pm on a Monday. Between the two of us we ordered the Chicken Karaage, Chicken Bao, Aubergine Bao, Black Cod, Peruvian Fries and Yucas! Chicken Karaage and the chicken Bao were delicious. The Aubergine was somewhat of a disappointment. I personally liked the black cod but the taste was too much for my partner. The fries were normal but the Yucas was nice. Very strong flavours.

I had such a wonderful experience at Ayllu Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the decor was stunning, warm, stylish and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. The service was excellent throughout; our waiter was attentive, friendly and made us feel truly welcome without ever being intrusive. The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented and a real celebration of fresh ingredients and creativity. Each course felt thoughtfully prepared and exceeded our expectations. Altogether it was a fantastic dining experience with amazing food, outstanding service and a beautiful setting. I cannot wait to return and would highly recommend Ayllu to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

Absolutely brilliant! By far the best bottomless brunch I’ve been to and you actually don’t leave hungry unlike most bottomless. The staff were so friendly and helpful, shoutout to lianita! The food was actually brilliant, absolute musts to order are -beef croquettes (best I’ve ever had) -salmon ceviche -fried chicken -short rib -fried fish Sushi was okay but not my fave but still good. The vibes are great, the dancers were really good and it made it a party feel without being too loud and annoying. The brunch was truly bottomless with constant top ups of drinks and quick service with each round of food. Would reccomend and good value!

Both the food and entertainment is top notch. For meat eaters, try the short rib, it’s delicious! For vegans, try the Peruvian chips, they’re seasoned to perfection.

A Delightful Bottomless Brunch on a Rainy London Sunday We had a fantastic time enjoying a bottomless brunch on a rainy Sunday in London. Arriving at 12:30, we were promptly seated by the receptionist. The venue was a bit empty when we first got there, but that just meant we had more space to settle in. The rules of the bottomless brunch were clearly outlined on the menu: each guest could order two dishes per round, with a 90-minute limit. We ended up sampling most of the menu, and every dish was delicious. The standout items were the salmon rolls, slow-cooked beef short ribs, and the ceviche (both the salmon and seabass versions). The food arrived quickly, and the churros were a highlight—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and utterly delicious. We managed to get through 3-4 rounds of food. The quality of the food was so impressive that we were surprised the place wasn’t full when we looked around at 1:45 PM. However, by then, the room had started to fill, and by 2 PM, every table was taken. The atmosphere was lively, especially when the dancers appeared at 1:40 PM and 2:40 PM. They were fantastic, engaging the crowd and even teaching us some dance moves. A special touch was when they brought out a dessert with sparklers for my friend—it made our afternoon! For just £42 per person, we enjoyed an incredible meal and experience. I highly recommend this bottomless brunch to anyone, and I’m already planning my next visit!

The food was great, the waiter and waitress are attentive and friendly. The entertainment was lovely, I actually appreciate the intermissions to space out our stomach in between food. The samba dancers were friendly too! All smiles and was a great experience. Thank you for a great closing night of 2023.

ever so glad that my dad stumbled across ayllu online and impulsively decided to make a reservation, otherwise i may never have experienced it! a somewhat intimate eatery, cozily hidden beneath a canalside bar. on a sunday evening it was about half full, a nice level of activity. from the moment you enter to the moment you leave you feel cared for by the staff, who are friendly and accommodating. thanks to our server, Leonita, who was really lovely - she really made the experience (and not just because she helped me pick half my food). the food!!!! absolutely delicious!!! immense flavour makes up for the smaller portion sizes, which are much more satiating than they appear. i highly recommend as well for not being outrageously priced. it's a confusingly eclectic menu, but when i can have sushi for my main and tiramisu after, you won't hear me complaining. second best tiramisu in london so far. wonderful!!!

This was hands-down one of the best brunches I’ve ever had — and I’ve been twice already! From the moment we arrived, the energy was incredible. The dancers brought so much life to the atmosphere, and the food? Absolutely fantastic. Everything was a solid 10/10. But what truly elevated the experience was the service — especially our server, Fabricio. He made the entire brunch feel like a VIP experience. Super attentive, incredibly kind, and the refills for bottomless drinks just kept coming without us even having to ask. He made excellent recommendations too — the salmon ceviche and chicken karaage were easily some of the best dishes I’ve ever had. I’ve already come back a second time, and I’m planning to bring even more friends next round. Huge thank you to the team and to Fabricio for making it such a memorable and seamless experience!

The experience was great, I spent my last birthday there and the food was awesome specially the cauliflower.

Ayllu is an intimate little basement restaurant situated right next (and under) paddington station. The entire experience was a little more on the pricy side but we had an amazing experience and would definitely come back. We had the pleasure of enjoying the valentine's special tasting menu in a cute booth. Enjoying live music throughout the night (special mention to the violinist and the flamenco guitar) and even samba dancers! Service was great and the food was delicious. Starting off with the best guac I've ever had, and really tasty tuna ceviche. All of the mains were stellar: delicious steak (cooked to your liking), out of this world bomba rice with salmon and great yuccas bravas (which they should have served more of straight into my mouth please). The prosecco was great, and the extra cocktails we ordered were incredible and we could see them being made right next to us at the bar! The experience was capped off with a lovely creamy dessert in the shape of a heart, just lovely. As I said at the start I'd definitely come back to check out what else they offer!

I found this restaurant while looking for a lunch spot in Paddington, and the experience was an easy 10/10. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing. My waiter, Fabricio was really friendly and he explained the whole concept of the restaurant, he gave some delicious food recommendations.I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

This place is extraordinary and unique, Just by a canal. We had an amazing food experience in mystically and tropically decorated ambiance. amazing eating experience starts as soon as you go through its door. The staff is friendly and polite. A great choice for every occasion for a good Peruvian food. Their food is incredible. We ordered few plates to share and it was such a mix of different tastes and flavours. I really enjoyed the food and the champagne. Highly recommended

Went there for a girl’s birthday brunch and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent which is unusual for London, especially considering how much we paid. The service was very efficient, and it was also lovely to see that some of the staff were from my place of birth.

Great food and a really enjoyable experience at Ayllu. The sushi was fresh, the Duck Anticuchera and Peruvian BBQ were full of flavour, and the cocktails were well balanced. Special thanks to Gautham and Foysal for their friendly and attentive service — they made the evening even better.

We had an amazing bottomless brunch yesterday. I have been to many bottomless brunches in London but this one tops them all in terms of food quality, price, service and atmosphere. Ayllu even had female dancers too which made the brunch really good. The waiters/staff were out of this world with their service. They did not rush us and were very professional during our bottomless brunch. I would give Ayllu 6/5 stars if I could.

The happiest accident a friend and I happened to stumble upon! Every dish was expertly prepared and cooked to perfection. The service was phenomenal and our needs were anticipated with little prompting from us. The drinks were fantastic too! Definitely a 20/10!

This place was special! I came for my in laws birthday and had the samba brunch. All of the food (and drinks) were incredible, especially the beef dish we had and the fried chicken. Atmosphere - amazing. The man who waited on us was professional and attentive, even though it was so busy. He was also polite. I would definitely come here again

I went for the Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday. Not crowded, good music/ vibe. It’s an à la carte, not buffet format. You can order 2 items at a time. The service was quick, and waiters would ask you your next order as soon as they delivered your dishes. The quality and variety of dishes were excellent. The ability to switch among booze options would be appreciated. I’d also like to see some tuna too, but otherwise, this is a great way to sample the restaurant’s fuller offering.

We came here for the 8 course tasting menu from Virgin experience. The restaurant is beautiful inside but as the weather was good everyone was sitting outside. We got directed to our table, waited around 15 min for the waiter to come. Nobody passed him information that we have a voucher so that was a first sign of the poor communication. He told us he will check what we have included. For the next 30 min we didn’t hear from him which was very frustrating. We didn’t know if our voucher is sorted, or if they forgot about us. After this time we got our first course. All the food was delicious but it would so much nicer experience and less stressful if there would be any communication from the staff. I would recommend the experience but their customer service needs to improve.

My partner and I went to dinner. We wanted to have a good time, but the place was very noisy. The music was quite loud. I think it was too early to have the music so loud. It was barely 8:00. We couldn't talk, we were yelling. I understand if it's 10:00 and the music is loud. It's fun because you can enjoy it and dance, but not when it's in the middle of dinner. I think the DJ was excited. The service was friendly, and the food was okay.

Booked on a very short notice for a Sunday lunch with my wife. It’s a little bit hidden in a basement. Service was quick and good was good. Not overwhelming but good. Only brunch menu available, which was bottomless. Restaurant had a live DJ and was playing good tunes, for my liking a notch to loud. Not sure why we had some samba dancers out for 5 min and doing as show, but that’s quite entertaining. Lucky they did not ask me to join in dancing, as they did to other guests.

Michaela

We booked a table to celebrate a friend’s birthday and went for the bottomless food and drink option. The food was okay—not particularly remarkable—and the sushi was just average. The cocktails included in the booking were a bit of a mystery; we weren’t quite sure what they were. That said, the service was decent, and the staff made sure our glasses were always full. The whole experience felt a bit rushed overall. However, the DJ played great music, and the "Happy Birthday" message for the birthday girl was a sweet touch. The décor was nice, and the samba dancers added a fun and lively vibe to the atmosphere. Just be sure to arrive on time—the performance starts promptlyPerhaps I will return another time to try the tasting menu; it might provide a better overall experience. I'm open to giving them a chance.

M
Martin

We enjoyed the brunch, great music from the DJ, the samba was a fun element and the service was top draw. The food was so so, I wouldn’t say great but good enough for a fun brunch. The churros were probably my favourite part. One problem was that they only allow each person to have the same drink for the free flow for the 90mins. I feel like it wouldn’t be a logistical or financial problem for them to allow a change in drinks, many people don’t want the same thing for the whole meal. Just thought I’d mention it. The service was excellent though.

Ozden Akyildiz

I had a good experience with the Tasting Menu; the food was simply amazing! The service was top-notch and truly elevated the whole evening. The only downside was the music—it was way too loud, which made it tough to hold a conversation! Nonetheless, that won’t stop me from coming back for lunch to try out different menus!

D
Daniela

We booked the £40 bottomless brunch and it was great! Absolutely worth it. The food is so nicely plated and made with care. I wasn’t a fan of the dessert to be honest but other than that, delicious. The atmosphere was delightful and because it was just us in the restaurant, it felt very special. The only hiccup was the receptionist, who not only said we couldn’t sit downstairs - despite the booking was clearly advertising it and I sent an email to specifically request the booth - but also didn’t communicate that we had paid already, so my partner paid for the bill when he didn’t have to. They immediately refunded us, of course, but this could all have been avoided. Our waitress was very sweet and made the whole experience remarkable.

We did a tasting menu via a virgin experience voucher. Unfortunately, the tasting menu that we had booked no longer existed as the tasting menus had changed but the food was delicious. It was exceptionally fish heavy but it was enjoyable

Ayllu Sunday Brunch. This dining experience was amazing not only because of the saucy conversations on the table but also because of the good service from the staff. Your company and the service you receive always makes your meal even better. This is up there as one of the best brunches i have been to in a long while. We opted for the cocktail option of which they were too generous. I did find it a little weak but it is quite sweet and doesn't taste like alcohol. My highlights were the Uramaki rolls in the first picture, the bao buns and the lemon and herb chicken. Other notable mention is the bravas which i suspect was made with cassava as opposed to potatoes. Tacos as well were just okay. I was disappointed with the croquettes, nothing special there unfortunately. The decor is quite nice mixed with the vibe. The venue is hidden behind a secret door which gives it a bit of a classy look. I would definitely go back for this one. Highly recommended.

The venue is exceptionally nice and very well decorated. Two thumbs up to the DJ who rocked the house with his beats. The hostess was welcoming and accommodated a last minute addition to our booking very professionally. The drinks were satisfactory and the food was exceptionally tasty. Would recommend for a repeat visit anytime for brunch. Last but not least, special mention must be made of the salsa dancers - perfection!

We ordered the tasting menu for the restaurant - I am vegetarian so am happy to see that they have a vegan menu. The food is decent. I can tell there are Japanese and Peruvian flavor in the dishes (e.g. the salad is the Peruvian sour and the aubergine taco has the soy sauce in it), but I don't feel any real "fusion" of flavors that particularly impresses me. My friend who ordered the ordinary tasting menu had a hard time from the beginning because the fish was too spicy for her. We were not sure whether any following dishes were originally designed to be spicy but she had to explicitly ask the kitchen to not to spice things up for her. The dessert in her menu was wonderful though. As for the environment, we sat outdoors and the atmosphere was good with people gettiing excited in front of the TV for Europe 2021.

I went for Bottomless Brunch with my family and it was amazing! The atmosphere was great lively music, lovely performances from the dancers, and really friendly staff. The food was delicious and came out quickly, which I loved. I was honestly so full by the end! My only small preferences would be around the drinks and sushi options. There was only one cocktail available (alongside wine and prosecco), and you had to stick with one type of drink throughout. The cocktail of the day had pineapple, which was quite heavy on my stomach, so it would’ve been nice to have a bit more variety or flexibility. Also, since it’s a Japanese spot, I was hoping for a little more sushi but what was there was still really tasty. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Great food, great vibes, and lovely service. I’d definitely recommend it and would happily come back!

Japanese-Peruvian small plates and samba show . I've been a fan of tasting menus recently and the 'Lima' one is a good value for money as the amount of food and different things you get to try is quite impressive. We ordered some extra items from the menu such as Beef Baos, Lamb and Chicken skewers and Yellowtail tiradito. . There is also a live Samba show every Saturday and DJ sessions every Thu-Sat. They offer different tasting menus, a la carte, bottomless dishes and drinks every weekend. . ⭐️Overall rating: 6.5/10 🙌Recommendation: Lima tasting menu, Lamb skewers 💰Cost: £39pp (Lima tasting menu) 🚇Closest station: Paddington . I'd say the downside can be waiting time especially when they are busy, we received most of our food at the same time just to wait for about half an hour for two remaining plates from our tasting menu. Also the Samba show is quite loud so if you prefer to dine in peace, don't go on Saturdays. We weren't a fan of the Yellowtail tiradito and the beef in the Lima menu was quite overcooked.

We came for the weekend Bottomless Brunch and whilst we enjoyed ourselves, it was not amazing. The service was excellent, our drinks were always topped up and the food orders were done and brought out in a timely manner. They also were not so strict on the 90 minutes which was good because you felt relaxed and not pressured. They also had a Dj who was playing good music. However the food itself was quite bland and not very tasty. The drink choice was limited (cosmopolitan cocktail, prosecco or red/white wine) which you had to stick to for the rest of your time. The show was also not very good (it was supposed to be Rio carnival themed but the 2 girls couldn’t dance samba etc.). Overall, I wouldn’t go back, but we still had a good time.

The location is hard to find, as the map takes you between buildings. What would help to know is that the restaurant is underneath the Grill Bar. I recommend finding the Grill Bar first, then going downstairs. We visited for our anniversary, which I mentioned in the notes, and I specifically asked for a quiet table where we wouldn’t be distracted by late arrivals or people passing by. Unfortunately, we were seated right by the door, where people constantly had to squeeze past us. We also had a limited time to dine, but around 15 minutes were wasted waiting to be served. In addition, there were noticeable delays between courses, and we had to keep trying to get staff’s attention despite the restaurant not being very busy.

S
Sam At

Had a lovely bottomless brunch for our anniversary, but the experience was ruined towards the end. Some dishes like the short rib purée, croquettes, and chicken hash brown were quite bland. The main issue was the confusion around payment – we were asked to confirm and approve it online when booking, so we assumed it had been taken following the transaction. As we left, we were chased outside with the bill, only to find out no payment had gone through online. We tipped our waiter extra, because of the whole ordeal with assuming everything was already paid for. The lady at the front desk looked at us like we were trying to run off without paying, instead of acknowledging the fault in their online payment system. Blame lies with OpenTable – why ask for a £110 prepayment if it’s not actually processed? Poor end to an otherwise enjoyable afternoon.

We had the big tasting menu, and only the two mains were any good. The grilled tuba was very good, but there is zero value for the money if you choose tasting menus, choose from the ala carte instead. And the dessert….? Please…it was two sorry pieces of churros…and this was The Chefs Choice…

Food is very average quality or below, some dishes are very poorly made. Tuna tataki was not fresh at all, we were not even sure if it was tuna, now we think it wasn't safe to eat, hopefully no stomach bug. Dragon roll was probably worst I've ever tried. Restaurant looks fine but it's very noisy. People dressed weird. Girl next to us had bare feet and was putting them on the seat. Service pretty slow. It looks much better on pictures but quality really lacks.

R
Rosanna Ladbury

Booked here for a date night and although the atmosphere and service were nice the food was very mediocre and I’d definitely expect a higher standard from this kind of restaurant. The edamame and the chicken were good however the sushi was very disappointing each one with surprisingly cold rice and more avocado than anything else inside in all the rolls we chose. The wagyu roll was so disappointing we only ate a piece of it each despite it being £17. Perhaps we were unlucky with our experience but I think more care needs to be taken overseeing details that can change the overall outcome of a dish.

I visited Ayllu for my birthday dinner after wanting to come here for over a year. The social media posts made it look like exactly my kind of place, great atmosphere, good vibes, and quality food which is why this experience was so disappointing. To start, parking was a nightmare, which already set a slightly frustrating tone. On arrival, the restaurant is led downstairs near the toilets, which felt odd and unwelcoming. There was no real customer service, no warmth, no engagement, and nothing that made it feel like a special occasion. We ordered a selection of wagyu, black cod, ceviche, tiradito, sashimi, and scallops. Unfortunately, the food was below par overall. Much of it was tasteless, particularly the ceviche, which was extremely disappointing given that it’s a key part of the menu. The worst part of the evening was that one of the ceviches was clearly off. It had a strong, unpleasant fishy smell and tasted wrong. All three of us tried it, and each bite was inconsistent, some tasted extremely rank, others smelled bad which strongly suggests old and new portions had been mixed together. When we raised this with the waiter, the response was simply whether we wanted it replaced or taken off the bill. There was no concern, no apology, and no acknowledgment of the seriousness of serving off raw fish. By 1am, my flatmate was nauseous, and I have been sick today, which is deeply concerning and completely unacceptable. For a restaurant of this reputation and price point, this experience fell far below expectations not just in food quality, but in service, care, and basic food safety. What should have been a memorable birthday dinner was instead a regrettable experience. I won’t be returning.

Guys you can do better, I’m sure you can! I love the concept behind Japanese-Peruvian fusion food, but execution wasn’t there that evening. Our table hadn’t bottle of water which is standard (judging by that other tables were set with water and glasses) so I had to ask waiter. On sushi part we hadn’t soy sauce dipping bowls(which is standard). We had Machu-Picchu tasting menu. My favorite was guacamole in terms of freshness and taste (which is not hard to make at all, but takes some skill nonetheless). Overall nothing special, there’s huge space for you to grow and become good restaurant which is what I would like to wish to you. Cheers! 🥂

Very disappointing experience. The steak was extremely chewy and felt low quality, the tacos were bland and underwhelming, and the ceviche tasted very fishy and not fresh at all. The food was honestly terrible, especially for the price. The servers were kind, but overall service wasn’t great and didn’t justify the high cost. Definitely not worth it.
