Copper Chimney London Reviews
Mohammed delivered an outstanding service from start to finish. He was attentive without being intrusive, professional yet genuinely warm, and made the entire experience seamless. Every request was handled promptly and with a positive attitude. He anticipated what we needed before we even asked and ensured everything ran smoothly throughout the meal. His attention to detail, product knowledge, and natural customer focus truly elevated the experience. It’s rare to come across someone who combines efficiency with such a personable approach. Mohammed is a real asset to the team and made our visit memorable for all the right reasons.
Food was incredible - super tasty and rich in flavour! The chaat was perfectly balanced! Had the lunchtime thali on a weekday, which for £15 is so worth what you pay for - shocked to have found such a great deal! If you come to Westfield, make sure you stop by for lunch - you wont be disappointed. Food arrived very promptly, a very pretty aesthetic inside, which is great for photos - bonus, our waiter Mohammed was lovely - attentive, warm and provided good conversation letting us know about the restaurant's origins. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful lunch at Copper Chimney. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavours, and beautifully presented. The variety and quality made the meal feel truly special. The ambience was warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening with family. A special thanks to Mohammed for his excellent service. He was attentive, polite, and ensured we had a great experience throughout.
We had a wonderful experience at Copper Chimney! Mohammed was extremely attentive and took the time to explain the menu clearly, helping us choose the perfect dishes. The food was full of flavour and absolutely delicious, every bite was a treat. The service and atmosphere made the evening even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again!
A beautiful restaurant with impeccable service. The attention to guests is fantastic. Food was excellent and a nice touch is being able to see the food being made through a window. Special mention to our server Mohammed who made sure we were well attended to and taken care of, and gave us lots of information on any dish we had questions of.
Shiny, upmarket Indian cuisine. £86 for two including cocktail and beer is - these days - a bargain. Special mention for the “posh poppadom” in house crispy bread starter, the chicken tikka and the rogan chicken. Service is prompt, well-informed and attentive without being annoying. (Thank you, Mohammed!) Would eat here again without hesitation. 👌
I had a wonderful experience at Copper Chimney Indian Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious full of authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was rich in taste and truly enjoyable. The service was equally impressive. Mohamed and Pratibha were extremely friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our visit. Their warm hospitality made the dining experience even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great Indian food and excellent service. I will definitely visit again!
We had an absolutely wonderful dinner here! The food was authentic, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. But what truly made our evening special was the service. Muhammad took such great care of us he was professional, attentive, and had excellent recommendations. It’s rare to find such a combination of great food and top-tier hospitality. We will definitely be back!
One the best places to have authentic Indian cuisine coupled with excellent service and top quality north India dishes. Ambience is upmarket, classy decor and the place has a nice sophistication to it. Staff are great. Food was outstanding and priced appropriately for the top quality
Thank you so much to Copper Chimney, for the most fantastic dinner, where we celebrated my brothers birthday. The service was phenomenal, Muhammad Boshir was our server and what a kind gentleman. He was absolutely so lovely. The food was hot and fresh. Truly what desi food should be. This was my first visit and it will not be my last. Please do come here. And my mum said it would make for a perfect date night too!
Copper Chimney was a suprising delight. The food was insanely good and freshly made with the view of the chefs making our rotis and cooking our tandoori platter. Our server Mohammed was a delight to talk to and he was very attentive to our needs. The price was very fair. This is definitely my favourite Indian place so far and a short walk from Sheperd's Bush station.
We had a wonderful dinner at Copper Chimney in Westfield White City. From the moment we arrived, the service was superb : prompt, attentive, and very responsive without ever feeling intrusive. We ordered the taster menu for two and were genuinely delighted with every dish. The unexpected highlight for us was the cauliflower, we were honestly surprised at how flavourful and satisfying it was. Who knew cauliflower could taste that good? The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, with plenty of space between tables, making it easy to have a conversation without raising your voice. Its just a good relaxing vibe in a busy shopping centre. Highly recommended if you’re looking for quality Indian cuisine in a calm, well-run setting.
I spent a lovely summer’s evening with friends at Copper Chimney, Westfield Shepherd’s Bush. The decor is tasteful and calming. Sebika, was such a joy to have as a server. She gave excellent menu recommendations and we thoroughly enjoyed the Lamb Briyani covered by light pastry and Lamb Rogan Josh with crispy buttery parathas. In fact, it’s the best Indian I’ve had in London in the past 7 years. Highly recommended!
London has great restaurants that cater to those seeking Indian flavors so I was a little surprised to be wowed by Copper Chimney! The lamb curry was amazing with just the right blend of heat and flavor! The lamb itself was perfectly trimmed to remove the fat AND so tender it came apart with a fork. To this add excellent service and you have a prefect restaurant!!! I HIGHLY recommend
Really great restaurant with tasty food and lovely service. I'd definitely recommend the Delhi style fried chicken - that was very delicious and the batter seasoning was unique. The portions are great, so you don't need to order that much rice/bread side dishes.
What a feast! I've traveled the world more than once. And there are certain foods i enjoy pursuing in new locations one of these is the indian cuisine. Naan bread Some sort of shish kobab. And a curry. Preferably with a cobra beer. I enjoy my meal spicy. At the higher end for caucasian people. Copper chimney did amazing. The naan is one of THE best. As in i've tried it 3 places in the world at this level. The butter chicken is creamy and explores your taste buds with sweet and spices at the same time. The shish lamb was spicy tender and matched amazingly with it's coriander dip. The location is modern and good for social dining i personally aim for the more small local backstreet locations) (it's a sign of quality if the chef doesn't understand the native tongue) However that is a personal preference. And im happy i went to the mainstreet this day to enjoy an absolutely amazing feast. Will diffently go again when in london.
Hamid and Pratibha made our visit amazing! The food was fresh, delicious and fragrant, enjoyed every bit of it. Will certainly come again! 😊
Amazing food😍😍😍Muhammad served us really good at westfield shepards bush
Cooper Chimney is a great spot at Westfield! The food is delicious, portions are generous, and the service is quick and friendly. The Indian flavors are authentic and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend!
The waitress that attended to us was the highlight of my visit. Sebika was so lovely and professional, she made my experience wonderful tonight. Her service was impeccable, she went above and beyond and was a delight to talk to. Give her a raise! Thank you for your hospitality, Sebika.
Bikash was a great server and made excellent recommendations. We had the aloo tiki chat, paneer masala, and saffron pulao, all of which were incredibly delicious!
Cane for a group of 7 after work and had a great evening. Loads of food and excellent service from Mohammed and Sevika.
Amazing food. Very accommodating staff. My server (Prapti) was very nice and attentive. I’d definitely recommend a visit.
Pure Nostalgia! Truly an Indian restaurant that serves delicious North Indian food. Being a Punjabi in the UK, I can confirm that the food here is authentic and absolutely exquisite. Special mention to chef Sandeep who aced my request for extra spicy butter chicken, and thank you very much Sebika for going the extra mile to make us comfortable. Together you guys made our meal extra special.
Patina was FANTASTIC. Her attentiveness and her smile made for a lovely experience. A great place to go for amazing food. The lunch selection was phenomenal. Cheers from the Canadians and the Kiwi.
Sunil was our waiter and he was honestly so lovely So attentive, efficient, constantly checking in with us. Great conversationalist, ensured the table was clean. He was a charm, friendly and smiley - absolute credit to the brand. All staff were lovely and a lady paid me a nice compliment. The mango lassi was the best I ever tasted. Food was fresh and delicious and worth the price we paid Restaurant is clean and decorated beautifully More than enough capacity and availability My 2nd time dining here and I’d return
Best dal makhani in London. Hands down!! Amazing butter chicken wings and lamb nihari…. Great service and kind staff, especially Mr.Mohamad.
Bikash waa great at service. All the food were great especially lamp biryani. Drinks were great especially mango lassi.
The food was amazing and perfectly flavoured. A lovely atmosphere. Speedy service with great recommendations from our server Bikash. A little on the more expensive side but very worth it!
What an amazing find! Beautiful restaurant with attentive staff who know their stuff! I have a lot of allergies and yet I was able to have so much choice. Food was delicious, as were the cocktails. Lovely calm atmosphere after the business of Westfield. Family friendly too (high chairs and change station). Will definitely be coming back.
The food is always delicious and the service is top tier. Muhammad and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to deliver exceptional service. I highly recommend for authentic quality Indian food to stop by Copper Chimney for an amazing culinary experience. Tell Muhammed we sent you.
Vikash is an amazing person. Loved his strong and positive attitude. Always attentive and helpful. Suggests dishes as well and was courteous enough to ask for allergies since I am a vegetarian. So 10/10 for him 🤩👍
I had such an exceptional experience at Copper Chimney thanks to Bikash, and I genuinely feel he deserves recognition for the way he goes above and beyond for guests. From the moment I arrived, he was warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming — the kind of service that immediately puts you at ease. I’m lactose intolerant, and navigating menus can sometimes feel stressful, but Bikash handled everything with such care and confidence. He took the time to walk me through the options, double‑checked ingredients with the kitchen, and made sure every dish was safe for me without ever making it feel like an inconvenience. His knowledge, patience, and genuine desire to help made the entire experience feel effortless. What stood out most was his attitude — friendly, thoughtful, and consistently checking in to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying my meal. It’s rare to meet someone who combines professionalism with such sincere kindness. Bikash is a credit to Copper Chimney and a big part of why I’ll be returning. Service like his is what turns a meal into a memorable experience.
Mohammed was such a great waiter and greeter. He served us very well and he was very attentive. Was such a pleasure talking to him also and it was very nice to see deepesh In the kitchen, I told him he’s so handsome he could actually work in Bollywood film films!! The food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back here. The ambience is wonderful also
Muhammed was very attentive to our needs. Service was impeccable. Ambience is that of dreams, layout luxurious and relaxing. Food was so fresh, flavoursome, authentic, good portion sizes. I'm in love & shall be back for sure. Superb restaurant 👌🏽
We really enjoyed dining at Copper Chimney! We have been living in London for the past 10 years and we never managed to find any place that serves Rumali Roti. We really enjoyed the Rumali Roti and Indian Curries. Mohammed looked after us very well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic curry!
We have lunch here in weekday so not much people. Food is served fast and service ya good. It’s our first time trying Indian food, so cannot tell how it’s compared with others. The naan is good, all other dishes are too salty and spicy for us. But overall good environment and cosy place to have a meal.
I ordered a vegan Samosa and a chargrilled chicken tikka. The samosa is good, but a bit salty - the accompanying sweet sauce can neutralise the salty taste. The tandoori is also nice, but very hot (as expected). The accompanying salad and mint sauce (and water) can also help neutralise the heat.
I've been to Copper Chimney numerous times in India and when I got to know the same copper chimney is in London as well I couldn't hold myself back. The food is pretty much on point maintaining the same copper chimney standards back in India. We had the kadak roomali and chicken Reshmi Kebab as starters which was good as usual , can't go wrong. For drinks we had the thandai which is my personal favorite and the amm sour which is an essential twist to the traditional aam panna but honestly I would request the restaurant to bring back the og aam panna during summer it can't go wrong. For mains we ordered the bhuna chicken which was beautiful and had a nice smokey umami taste which was amazing , the dal makhni was good but I think we over ordered , I can tell you the portion size is very good. Bikash was extremely polite and helped us decide our meals. Thank you Bikash! Request for the restaurant management: You will see the key signature dishes like kadak roomali Roti, Reshmi Kebab, butter Chicken etc. But a few definitely missed dishes would be the classic masala version of the kadak roomali with chopped onions and tomato I did miss that. Sadly there was no Malai paneer based tandoori starter which is something Copper Chimney is madly known for as well. I deeply missed the Galouti kebab as well, the kabab with roomali Roti is classic combo that was missed as well.
Absolutely gorgeous restaurant and delicious food and drinks! The service provided by our server Mohammed was excellent and he went out of his way to serve us the thali even though we didn't order it in advance. One thing to notice is the physical menu does not specify that the thali needs to be pre-ordered so that's a bit confusing!
Tried this restaurant which is conveniently located just outside the Westfield mall in Shepherd’s Bush and was pleasantly surprised. Dishes tried: Lamb Kebab - Great texture, very aromatic flavour with a medium-high spice level, pairs well with the fresh green chutney (although, a mint yoghurt one on the side would’ve been great also), definitely my favourite. Butter Chicken - Overall a strong flavour profile and great taste, although the meat pieces aren’t your typical tikka cubes and more like thin strips. I asked to raise the spice level as the server confirmed that the standard version can be mild for some. Buttered Naan - Light and flavourful, although a little on the smaller side. Roomali Roti - Very light and great taste. Really love that they serve you warm plates and the cutlery includes a spoon! Overall, the food quality is fantastic, service is very welcoming and ambiance is warm and inviting. Definitely worth a try!
Chicken Tikka Biryani was delicious, the butter chicken wings were interesting too.
Service was great. Bikash was really helpful with giving advice on dishes as well as being friendly and chatty. Only negative aspect of the restaurant was the discretionary donation of 1 pound and the discretionary service charge of 7% that were added to the bill without asking.
