Great restaurant!!! Tony and the team are the best in the area! Go visit them! Food is tasty, nice choice of starters and mains Cocktails are great too Ask Tony for special wines….! Thank you for looking after us ! We will definitely be returning soon
What an amazing team. The food is super as are the cocktails and it is so well managed I love taking friends there from out of the area!!
Visited with friends during the week for a meal back in July. Service was polite and attentive. Menu was looking very similar if not the same as petts wood's one, well the vegetarian option were the same- pasta or risotto. I had the pasta and it was good. Dessert was good too- had the pear. Would return
Lovely place and very nicely decorated. Absolutely lovely staff . I would like to thanks Ciprianis Locksbottom for an amazing afternoon, specially Costas , he is very polite and helpful in advising on dishes. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant in Locksbottom,
When we have had our baby daughter in the hospital nearby I realised I was very hungry too late in the evening, and went outside for a meal (as the hospital cafeteria was long closed). This restaurant was one of the few still open on that street. I ordered a dinner and a glass of champagne to celebrate. The only visitors apart from myself were a few pensioner couples and real estate agents celebrating a deal (i.e. exactly as what you'd expect in a suburban restaurant). I was happy, and the service was nice.
Come here on a first date and from the moment we walked in the door we was instantly looked after. The manager especially was 10/10 the food was amazing, the staff were amazing! Will definitely make this our go to restaurant. Thank you
Stunning food and lovely staff always made to feel so welcome
Very nice, great food lovely interior
Such a lovely experience everytime we come, we normalky visit on a sunday for a family dinner, and we are never disappointed the Staff are always lovely and welcoming and remember our names and faces. The food is always perfect, I highly recommend.
We had Christmas dinner 2024 was amazing, my only criticism is maybe a few bread rolls and olives on the table would have been a nice touch whilst waiting for the starters. Would definitely recommend
The staff, ambiance, and food were all outstanding. Definitely a place worth visiting again!
Had a tremendous meal here. Never disapoints and the service is superb. Great atmosphere and staff friendly. Will definitely be returning
Wow, food atmosphere, the staff were wonderful, so welcoming amazing tasty food and cocktails drinks are amazing. Visited here for celebration lunch.
The service is very good, they were attentive, great at putting you at your ease and extremely considerate. When we didn't order starters, they even let us know that it would be 15 minutes before our meals came. That takes kindness and intelligence. It was only a Monday night as well! Our dinners were absolutely delicious and the pasta was very skilfully cooked with a perfect texture. They provide an extra full-sized plate per person so that you can easily take a little from each dish your party orders, if you prefer to. Maybe they could think again about little details like the presentation of the route to the loos etc, but: 'don't compare me to the almighty, compare me to the alternative.' We had an excellent dinner and felt really cared-for, so for the price it worked out as very fair value. I'm happy to call this a 5-star experience for that.
We had the King Prawn Linguine and a crisp glass of white wine and it was delicious. Definitely recommend.
Came here with a friend for a late lunch one Saturday. The place is top class, wonderful staff, attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and very good menu. The surroundings and atmosphere very nice. Good value for the level of food and service. Highly recommend
6 of us had dinner at cypriani last week and I’m happy to say all of us had a great experience. The food was amazing as were the cocktails and wine. The staff and service was exceptional. Great place , great atmosphere, amazing food and all reasonably priced. Already my favorite restaurant in the Locksbottom- Bromley area 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I love it here the food is always fabulous. First time I've felt a little rushed, big push to take our order but it was a Friday night so I know they were busy. Pricey but great quality and service so you get what you pay for. Would highly recommend.
Lovely restaurant. Roast beef lunch was superb as was staff. Nice simple lunchtime menu = high quality meals. Qudos. Parking is not great but the local Sainsbury's allows 2hrs.
Only came for a drink but classy and welcoming staff. Will return again...
We visited Cypriani’s in Locksbottom last night for Valentine’s and had a really lovely evening overall. First of all, credit where it’s due — the Valentine’s set menu was £49 for three courses, which felt very reasonable for 14th February. What we really liked was that the main menu was still available too. So many restaurants inflate prices or restrict you to an overpriced set menu, but that wasn’t the case here — it felt fair and thoughtful. We both started with the salt cod ravioli with seafood bisque, which was absolutely delicious. The bisque was rich and flavourful without being overpowering, and the ravioli was beautifully cooked. For mains: • My partner chose the rib of beef with peppercorn sauce and chips — perfectly cooked and very generous. • I had the lamb rack with potato gratin and spinach, which was tender, well-seasoned and genuinely delicious. I couldn’t actually finish it (rare for me!) and they happily boxed it up for me to take home, which was appreciated. Desserts were slightly mixed: • My partner loved his chocolate mousse — rich and indulgent. • I chose the poached pear with honey and mascarpone, which unfortunately was disappointing. It had so much clove in it that it tasted medicinal rather than warming or festive. A real shame because the idea sounded beautiful. Drinks-wise, I had a cherry sour cocktail which was far too sweet for my taste — one of those that makes the hairs on your neck stand up — plus a glass of wine. My partner had a Peroni. The total bill came to £150, which on Valentine’s night felt very reasonable considering we had three courses each plus drinks. Overall: A really enjoyable meal, good value for Valentine’s, excellent service (especially packing up leftovers without fuss), and beautifully cooked savoury dishes. Just a slightly over-spiced dessert and overly sweet cocktail stopped it being perfect. Would definitely return — maybe just skip the clove next time. ❤️
Food was good. Came here on a Friday night with my son and had a nice evening. The only issue I had was that they had a big sign outside for a set menu for lunch and dinner but they said they didn't do that which I always find annoying, misleadind but overall good atmosphere.
The lamb was seasoned well and succulent this place is a nice local regular
Nice place a little expensive. But will visit Again good helping of food
Went on a Sunday and the roast beef, food was really good. Everyone I was with enjoyed their food as well. Decent local restaurant. Will come back go try their regular menu
Hubby and I had a very nice meal here. Sadly hubby's scallops for starter we're a little too crunchy but nice and soft inside. I had a perfect skate wing and Hubby had liver. Both meals were very good and reasonably large portions. Polite and friendly staff.
Lovely atmosphere. Went here for Sunday lunch with friends. Asked for medium to well done roast beef but was too rare to eat. More vegetables please! Delicious Greek yoghurt, strawberries, walnuts and honey. Friend's salmon was good.
My experience: £189 for 2 people. (Had £20 service charge when they only served us food and poured the first glass of wine) Half the steak was just fat bits. Had to pay extra for peppercorn sauce as it comes with nothing. The atmosphere was lovely but I could get much more and better service and still pay less elsewhere. Must say was disappointed which is such a shame as the restaurant in itself is lovely.
Me and my partner dined here last night for a valentines meal. The restaurant was understandably very busy, but there were plenty of staff members. We received our drinks, starters and mains all in good time. All of which were lovely, lacking in portion size, but very tasteful. Once we had our mains we were forgotten about. We waited 35 minutes for our desserts, and being seated near the kitchen, we overheard several times the chef saying he didn’t have orders. Ours being one of them. Considering it was a set menu and all 3 course orders were taken at the beginning I don’t quite understand how you can not have numerous tables orders. We only had 1 drink ordered at the beginning of our meal and otherwise sat with empty glasses on the table for the remaining 55 minutes of our meal. By this time the restaurant was quieter (one of the waitresses was stood briefly eating chips by the kitchen). But not once were we asked if we wanted another drink. Had we not both wanted to leave so badly and get home we would have taken our service charge off the bill. Not sure id return in a hurry….
We visited Cyprianis for Mother’s Day and, to their credit, they were kind enough to accommodate us without a reservation. However, they were only serving a fixed Mother’s Day menu, which limited the options quite a bit. The food itself was decent—nothing to complain about in terms of taste—but the prices were incredibly steep for what was offered. It felt overpriced to the point of being unreasonable. The children’s menu, for example, was £20 for a small portion of chips, a few pieces of chicken, and a single scoop of ice cream. For the adults, we had the Sunday roast with beef and a fish dish. The fish turned out to be just a basic fillet with some potatoes—not what you’d expect for the price point. While the atmosphere was nice and the staff were pleasant, it did feel like they were taking advantage of the occasion. I might recommend the place for a regular visit, but definitely not on special event days. There are other local restaurants offering better food at far more reasonable prices.
Could do better. Food was average to good (see below) but restaurant lacks atmosphere and felt cold and the room is not well furnished. We did not feel particularly comfortable nor welcome. Expensive drinks which is probably to be expected at this location. I had a pasta starter which was more cream sauce than pasta - definitely not as Italians would serve.
We came on a quiet Monday afternoon. By the time we almost finished our wine bottle the starters came out. Mine was good but my husband's wasn't as nice. Then 20 more minutes passed before the mains came out with which we weren't impressed. Then 20 more minutes for the desserts which were dire. There were quite a few waiting staff so I guess the delay must have been from the kitchen.
Was really looking forward to going as heard good things but our turkey dinner was cold! Not much of an atmosphere.. Maybe better in evening but disappointed so not sure I'll return.
Been here lots of times and had great food but we visited in a large party and had an awful time. Several of us suffering with our stomach post meal which is odd, they forgot 1 persons main course and managers had no idea how to fix it, souvlaki was dry and tasteless. I don’t understand how it was so bad compared to other times we visited and it was so good. Disappointed, probably won’t go back again.
I had the mixed grill & the meat was over cooked, it was tuff, dry, very salty & it came with no special dipping sauce, I was offered ketchup & mayo, my fries were also over done to the point they were hard & crispy. Service was ok, nothing special. I definitely won’t be returning & wouldn’t recommend!
Food was edible that's all I can say, chicken was tough and the potatoes not fully cooked in the middle, the fish was over cooked. For the price paid it wasn't worth it. Some of the staff were nice but others quite rude and abrupt, wouldn't recommend personally
The worst meal we’ve ever had. Honestly 0 atmosphere, staff were sparse. We went in for the steak menu and they had only ribeye so we opted for our own order and we ordered a halloumi that was a literal block cut in half it was an absolute joke. 1 starter, 2 drinks and one steak with 3 sides £160. Honestly shocked and when we went to complain the manager got pulled aside and never came back. Honestly as locals we will never visit again. 0 service, 0 food 0 atmosphere
This restaurant used to be ok. The same sauce comes with many dishes, very odd. I also think the seafood has been frozen as it has a very odd taste. Steer clear.
