To all out-of-towners… there is a bathroom in the public library just down the block :) The food and drinks and service were great! The space is just super small.

I'm in town visiting family and had the chance to check out a few local spots that came highly recommended. Blacksmiths Breads was one of the breakfast places on my list.. and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The coffee was spot-on and the croissant was perfectly soft, buttery, and fresh. Everything hit the mark. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch, quick breakfast spot. 10/10!

We got a morning bun and an iced strawberry matcha latte! Both were great! The morning bun was really fluffy, crunchy, and delicously sweet! Excited to try more of their breads in the future

Easily the best morning spot in Long Beach! This whole team has got it down pat and they put love into everything they make; morning buns, croissants, matchas and coffees to boot! We live primarily DC but so look forward to visiting family in LB and taking our kids over to grab a fresh baked anything! Thank you to Ray and his team for creating something warm from the inside out!

This place has some of the best coffee I’ve had for a while! I was so glad that their large size is a quad shot because I tend to find that when I ask for 4 shots ppl look at me concerned lol. Coffee was smooth and strong and the honey/lavender syrup was perfect. Not too sweet, just right. I also had one of the most delicious morning buns I’ve ever tried. It was perfection. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed, but I’m excited to come back and try the rest of their coffee menu and breakfast sandwiches

Blacksmith’s Breads is a true gem and staple of Long Beachs west end. The baked goods, meals, and coffee are all excellent. The staff are all always a pleasure to talk to and Ray is an absolute gentlemen. We came in a bit late and missed out on our favorite treats, Morning Buns. Ray told us to come back in an hr for our own person order! Thank you for making my kids day! Well worth a visit for coffee, breakfast, or any baked goods!

I didn’t know true joy until the first time I had a Nutella financier. You can’t be sad eating a morning bun- it’s like a sweet decadent croissant hugging itself with layers of cinnamon sugar. A breakfast dish with hot sauce will enliven even the sleepiest weekend warrior. I can go on. Blacksmiths uses simply the best ingredients, made and served by the most genuinely kind humans. Catch them at a farmers market with fresh bread so you can sprinkle happiness throughout your weekly meals

Delicious breakfast sandwiches. Love that they're an Ocean Friendly Restaurant with Surfrider too! "Best in Field, our bread is always a home run."

Quaint bakery/cafe in the West End of Long Beach with great bread, a tasty food menu and exceptional coffee. Eat-in or grab something quick to-go and you will not be disappointed. While the seating may be limited, the charming decor is very inviting for a sit-in meal. The breakfast burrito (with chorizo) is one of my favorite meals in town - the flavor of the pickled veggies is noteworthy.

Working on the area & having a rough morning, I was looking for a place to have brunch and after seeing all the great reviews, I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did! I had an Apple Cider Mimosa that was so good, that I had to order another one to go. For brunch I ordered the Linh’s Banh Mi with chorizo & papas bravas and let me tell you I enjoyed every bite of it! Chef kiss 👌. The ladies up front were so nice & the vibe is warming & welcoming. I just loved it 10/10. I’m from Astoria but would definitely be coming back. In fact I’m stopping back today before they close for another bite and of course another mimosa 😋. JUST AMAZING. Thank you for turning my not so great day into an awesome one.

Absolutely amazing! Fresh baked croissant bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Delicious coffee and super nice staff. My chocolate croissant was added bonus for dessert. A must visit in Long Beach. Ray the owner is a great guy!

Fantastic new bread and breakfast spot featuring all coffees by the fabulous Stumptown Coffee Roasters! I had a croissant with my iced coffee and it was seriously one of the best criissants I've ever had that was not in France. Highly recommend! They bake all their breads and desserts on the premisis and in an open kitchen. Love it!!!!

I've been once for work and once for pleasure. The first time I sampled sourdough and brioche, both excellent. Recently I went back for the cruffin, a pastry from heaven (high praise coming from an atheist). It seems to be pastry dough braided into a buttery knot. Better than a croissant, better than a muffin. All I can say is try it. And if you're not into sweets, house milled grains add a wholesome touch to their entire bread lineup. Stumptown coffee is the caffeine-infused cherry on top. I hung out there for longer than I should have, but I couldn't pull myself away.

Pretty cool place They bake huge bread and its really good going to go back What makes it unique is the people that work there they look like they are really happy to be there like they are ln mission to get great bread to people and thats pretty cool Very few times i give a place 5 stars so for right now its a 4 but this could be good enough to get. 5 Good job a liquor license would be fun for brunch

Long lines for bagels in am on Saturday. Many flavors were sold out. Server did not explain that flat bagels are priced differently, or that the sign about 4 free bagels with one dozen was only good on Wednesdays. There was not a menu of bagels pricing.

Food was average. I like the overall selection of drinks/coffee. Unfortunately this place is a bit overpriced and it takes about 15min to get your food while 4 people are staffed in the kitchen. I’d not recommend coming here again.

Pricey! And DISGUSTING EGG SANDWICH Egg on brioche was $8 for one egg, extremely oily even on the outside of the bun and had no taste. Bread was stale and old. It was awful. That with a small coffee was $13. Just go to LB Sandwich co right there. Same meal, more food, better quality, $6. Stay away from this place.

I ordered from this establishment once on a Thurs and returned a second time on a Sat for the same order of egg white english muffin hot sauce, so now on my second visit it was done incorrectly and when I returned to have it fixed the woman behind the counter ( slim lady, long chin who complained about how bad her week was the entire time) was very rude, didn't want to fix the order told me it would be extra and told me the staff on Thurs should not have made my order like that in the first place🙄, definitely won't return and won't recommend
