What a great location to enjoy our sunny Long Beach days! Palapa is located on the upper level of 2nd & PCH right next to Ola Mexican Restaurant. It is open, bright & airy. You can choose to sit inside or out. Either way you will have a great time there. They serve a variety of delicious tapas & cocktails. We like the mezcal cocktail. Bring your friends, sit by the fire pit, enjoy the exquisite views. The staff is friendly & helpful. You can thank me later for letting you in on a Long Beach secret. Such a great vibe!

Absolutely amazing experience at Palapa! I hosted a celebration get together for my husband's military promotion here and it was everything we could have hoped for. I had emailed a few weeks before and the events manager informed me I couldn't reserve this area on weekends but I could come the day of and separate some tables for our party. My husband and I got there at 1115am and it was almost empty (perfect!) the lovely waitress and angel Arlene greeted us and helped us reserve 3 tables / lounge area for our party of 25. She went above and beyond from putting away the cake in fridge until we were ready to eat, to helping us with drink tickets for our friends since we wanted to treat them all to a few drinks and appetizers. The whole experience was seamless and she was professional and so so so lovely. We loved the drinks- Paloma, margaritas,' micheladas and the food was amazing! Carne asada nachos , ceviche, burritos, flautas, everything! I am sooooo grateful for Arlene's amazing service and will continue hosting more of our get togethers. Thank you for everything!

I don’t mind paying a premium for food that provides an equal value, but for the price I was not really impressed. I grab tacos in the hood that are tastier and cheaper.

Ordered the the Fajitas it was Meh! The 7 Mares 👎 Salty. Son ordered Tacos The meat on the Tacos looked dried up. The service was awesome they worked together to get us what we needed.. but I came to eat and I can not eat here again.
Stopped by today while out shopping, and we were a little disappointed honestly! Sad to say, but the service wasn’t great, and my drink was sub-par. I ordered a frozen margarita, which was small and not blended correctly so the ice was chunky. My boyfriends drink was actually great! He got the Spanish Mai-Tai. We wanted to put some small plates in, but no one came over to get our order, so we ended up going to the bar to close out. We wanted to love it because we have heard such great things. Maybe we will come back and try again!
