Tacos La Carreta Long Beach Reviews
Carne Asada Chorreadas were incredible. First is a crispy corn tortilla, then a spread of aciento, then refried beans, carne asada, very minced cabbage, and salsa. You don’t need any of the accompanying salsas. That’s how good they are!
Do you want a eat awesome tacos 🌮? Because I sure do. Come and try Tacos "La Carreta" straight out Sinaloa Mexico 🇲🇽. Makes sure and try one of each. Opened Friday‐Sunday only from 5 till 10pm.. Seriously you won't regret it...and please don't forget the cash.
Really original Mexican taste. They actually taste like the ones in Mexico. Highly recommended.
Before traveling to L.A. I googled best places to eat. Tacos LA Carreta was one of the suggestions. So after a full day of activities we decided to give it a try. Thank goodness we did! Best Tortas and tacos I ever had!! We will definitely make this a go-to for sure.
AMAZING. The wife & I order a Torito, Quesadilla & Papas Locas. They give you generous portions. The food was delicious, the meat’s so damn tender. The salsas aren’t spicy they’re all about the flavor. We can’t wait to go back. The lady who took our lady was so friendly too, so you can never go wrong with a place serves amazing food and gives you friendly service.
Stop being "loyal" to your taco truck and come here. Our #1 fourth meal location. Living in Long Beach I have many taco places to choose from, but it is 100% worth the drive to get their carne asada tacos. I have tried a few other items on the menu, but the tacos are where it is at. They also provide you with 3-4 different salsas, guacamole, pico de gallo (that is pico de mas que un gallo), limes, grilled onions and jalapeno. It is a great price and just delicious.
Sinaloa style tacos can’t get any closer to La Carreta. A great tip for all the salsa lovers is to order your salsas on the side so that you can put a lil bit on every bite. Also don’t forget to order grilled onions and a jalapeño.
Delicious and authentic with all the best fixins. The hot sauce choices were flavorful, and they were extremely patient and descriptive when explaining all the menu options. It's definitely a must try if you're in L.A.
I will frequently drive 25 mins to get the toritos here — they are some of the best tacos I’ve had anywhere in LA 🔥
Great tacos, very natural flavor, you don't feel bloated after eating them, good customer service. The only thing off is that it's to go but they well deserve all the ⭐'s we can give them 👍
The best Tacos in long beach,Vampires, chorreadas, tacos ,burritos, torts, come and check by yourself, different flavor
Late-night taquero with a mesquite grill that perfumes the block. The asada comes off smoky and tender, and the salsa roja has real heat. Corn tortillas are soft but don’t split. Cash is easiest, but they often take card. Perfect stop after a South Bay game

Have been here a couple times and the best so far is the torito but definitely get the papa loca too!

Delicious truck for vampiros and chorreadas. I’ve had vampiros before and love the crunch you get from the tostada and the fresh onions and cabbage to balance its’ heaviness. It was my first time trying a chorreada which is the same thing except it has the pork fat on it as well. I will now always be going for the chorreada over a vampiro if I have the choice because the moist chicharron was definitely a great addition. The asada was a little bland and I wish they had more variety of meats; but overall, the food was decent.
The grill is flaming, coke is dizzying, and the chili is hot. Our first time here and it is delicious. Other posts said that they only take cash, they take venmo now. The food is given in a good portion and prices are affordable

This taco truck is pretty good and they have quality food. The reason why I gave them a 4 star is because they have 2 types of meat Carne Asada and Tripas. You must try taco el torito y la papa locas that's some good stuff.

Ended up buying almost 1 of everything from menu. Torta was good, Tacos and Vampiro possibly your best choice on menu. Papa loca is over priced and basically meat over mashed potatoes. Honestly, great tacos if you live near by👍
I ate there 2 times First time was delicious and I can’t wait to go back again but second time the 2 tacos was too salty , very salty the vampire ( I don’t remember cause they gave me wrong order ) I was order two different tacos but they gave me same thing when I went back and asked They just explained like they are a bit different 😫 don’t even offer to fix it. And I paid $18 for the whole thing( 3 orders) The quesadilla was the best from those ordered, but I don’t think it’s worth the money After this I didn’t go back
To be honest, I’m not quite sure what the hype is. Don’t get me wrong, it’s certainly a good taco but nothing worth traveling out of the way for. Come if you’re in the area.
