Small friendly place; nice selection of Thai staples and interesting specials. I've eaten there once and taken out numerous times and have always had a consistently good experience.

I visited this place for the first time and I fall in love with it. The interior is really nice with characteristics of Thailand tradition on the wall. The food feels very homely and authentic. Pineapple Duck Curry met my expectation. It was crispy and flavorful. Pad See Ew is delicious and Mango salad with Soft Shell Crab is sweet and tangy. Salmon with eggplants are delectable. A small, cozy, and family-owned business, this place is a true hidden gem. They have a wide variety of Thai food (vegan and non-vegan options) that are all made fresh to order. All dishes are delicious and aesthetically pleasing.

This is the gem of Thai eatery in Long City. The place wasn’t run over with customers but believe me, with a gem you keep it quiet. What a great comfortable feeling you get walking in and being greeted. Ordering was easy and with a warm smile answered a few questions I had. The service was excellent, the food was on another level of excellence. My visit was well balanced. Thank you and your staff. You or your friends will not be disappointed to suggest THAI TREE.

Great neighborhood spot for Thai food! We decided to walk in to Thai Tree after voting in the hottest Election Day that ever was, and they did not disappoint. Server was friendly and quick, always kept our waters full, and he was knowledgeable about what could be made vegan or not. Sadly the papaya salad can’t be made vegan, but we had plenty of other options. Portions were huge; we both ended up packing up leftovers of our noodles. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to coming back! Next time we’ll remember to save room for dessert 😝

We had a great lunch here! Started with the shrimp rolls — crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked shrimp inside. For mains, I had the Basil Fried Rice with beef (so flavorful!), and we also shared the Drunken Noodles with boneless chicken — the texture and flavor were spot on. My daughter ordered the Tamarind Duck with rice. I’m not usually into duck, but it was surprisingly good — and she loved it! She also tried Thai milk tea for the first time and couldn’t get enough. When she didn’t finish it, the kind man helping us offered to put it in a to-go cup — such a thoughtful gesture. The service was warm and welcoming from the second we walked in. Definitely a Thai spot I’d recommend, and we’ll absolutely be back!

Biked by here by accident and saw the great reviews. I initially feared they were fake, but so glad I stepped in. The place is fantastic (and I’m known to my friends as being uber critical about food). My typical go-to’s are Somtum Der and Pranakhon – if you like those, you’ll love this place. Drunken noodles were the best I’ve had anywhere in the city – and I’ve tried many. I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves it. Can’t wait to come here with a bunch of friends so we can try the entire menu.

Service was great even though I did take out and the food I had tasted really amazing and the prices are as always fair.

I recently dined at Thai Tree in Long Island City, and I must say, it’s a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy, with a warm ambiance that makes it perfect for both casual and intimate dining. To start, I had the Tom Yum soup, which immediately impressed with its perfect balance of bold, tangy, and aromatic flavors. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of heat, and the lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and galangal really shone through. The freshness of the ingredients stood out, with plump shrimp adding a lovely texture to each spoonful. It’s the kind of soup that warms you from the inside out and makes you crave more. For the main course, I tried the Shrimp Pad Thai, and it was nothing short of delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked, tender yet slightly chewy, and the dish had a beautiful balance of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy. The shrimp were large, juicy, and cooked to perfection, while the combination of peanuts, bean sprouts, and lime provided the perfect crunch and zest to complement the dish. The overall flavor profile felt incredibly authentic, and it was clear that only the freshest ingredients were used. In both dishes, the authenticity of the flavors was undeniable. Thai Tree’s commitment to fresh, quality ingredients and traditional techniques really shines through. Whether you’re a seasoned Thai food enthusiast or a newcomer to the cuisine, I highly recommend Thai Tree for its excellent flavors and warm hospitality.

I got the Thai iced tea, the spice dusted calamari, the Thai basil fried rice with the crispy duck. The Thai tea was perfectly balanced not overly sweet and a lovely addition to the meal. The Spice Dusted Calamari had a very light breading that was seasoned well and skillfully fried. The sweet chili sauce and squeeze of fresh lime over the calamari made the dish sing!! The Thai Basil fried rice was delightfully smoky and full of flavor. The crispy duck was the star of the meal. Duck is my favorite protein and I’ve had it often. After much thought and comparison, I am ready to call it the best duck I’ve had. It was so moist and the skin was so crispy it shattered. The flawless excision of that duck was the perfect end to my NYC trip. I can’t wait to return here for another duck meal! Finally, The delightful waitress is a skilled multitasker. She simultaneously took of everyone in the restaurant with care and attention, handled all those coming in for takeout all while making the above mentioned drinks for each table.

If you want to look for a new experience that will not disappoint you, it is to come eat Thai. We ordered chicken fried rice and pad Thai. In addition to appetizers, we ordered some chicken dumplins. The restaurant is small but the time we were here we saw many delivery people coming out visiting the store to enjoy the food. The price plus the quality and taste of food is worth it. The portion of their dishes seems great to share between two people and try each dish. It is worth highlighting that they have a very unique decoration with their chandeliers. and the waitress was always very attentive. This restaurant is a 10/10. If you are from the Sunnyside community or its surroundings you should come to this restaurant.

This place is very tasty. Every dish I ordered from here was really good from appetizers to pad Thai. Service is really good, nice atmosphere inside. Can’t go wrong. Not to mention reasonable prices.

We ordered from this restaurant many times and finally paid a visit. Not just to say hi but to eat! The place is cute, with a lot of creativity put into it. Awesome! We know we liked the delivery food a lot, so it’s worth dining in. The waitress, Blair, is from Thailand so she answered questions about Thai cuisine well. We had chicken lettuce wrapped, which was Hubby’s favorite dish. Also, we tried the shrimp with ginger mushroom, and mussels. Everything was tasty! I’ve tried their Pad Prik Khing, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles from delivery orders and found their dishes to be authentic. Tom Yam was excellent! If you like stir fry noodles, don’t be afraid to order them. We’ve been ordering for delivery and sometimes stop by on the way home to pickup the order. We’ll be coming back to dine and try more dishes. So, if you crave for Thai food, visit this cute little place and enjoy!

The BEST Thai place we have ever been to, bar none. The dishes were well crafted and balanced, the service was impeccable, and the mood was perfect. You can tell the owners put their heart and soul into this place. This was my favorite dining experience in a very long time.

Love the place and the decorations. Food was really good. We had their Thai fried rice, drunken noodles and calamari. Everything was really good + great service. You get complementary spring rolls for order of $30ish which was really good too. Also, had their Thai iced tea which was good too if you like sweet.

Food quality is great, service is nice , and I also love their environment. It’s well decorated and it’s a mixture of great things. The only downside about here is their chicken wings, it is mediocre and no taste. Besides wings, other food were all great as I expected. Will come back again
