Awesome burger. Everything was done well. Good balance of all ingredients. Bacon was done perfectly. Very good bun. Smash burgers were excellent. I'm typically not a fan of crinkle fries but even they were good. I would recommend Rick's to anyone who likes a good smash burger. My only complaint is they dont have one in Syracuse. Please come to Syracuse!!

Great place and amazing food. Everything was perfect. The burger perfectly cooked on a soft potato bun. The Rick’s sauce had a bit of kick to it. The onion rings perfectly cooked and battered just right. The shake was creamy and thick. Excellent taste and execution.

Gluten free fries...gluten free buns available. I have not tried the burgers but others I was with did. They loved the burgers. Shakes are thick and delicious

Very kind staff. Ok environment, 1950's with 70's music, we're traveling so we took out The packaging was excellent. The burgers were delicious!! We each got a cheeseburger, I got spicy relish which was absolutely delicious. Shakes were thick and delicious. Utica is a great town for food!

Very delicious double cheeseburger and milkshake! I personally did not enjoy the fries, I got cheese and ricks sauce without chilly. Nice staff and clean environment. Will definitely go back

This little gem is at the edge of the hustle and bustle of the busy Utica life. Nestled in a building where it is kind of hidden. Though it's not a stand-alone restaurant, it is a stand-alone mouth tandelizing food party. The chicken sandwich to the amazing burgers. We will always look forward to eating here when we visit Utica. So whether you're right next door or have to trek across the city of Utica, it's well worth it. Enjoy, and if you agree, show some likes.

A hidden gem tucked away in Bagg’s Square in Utica. The burgers are cooked perfectly with a crust that lends texture to a juicy burger, as advertised in the title. The crinkle fries are seasoned well and the Rick’s Sauce is good in small doses. (I would recommend getting the truffle mayo as a dipper.) I ordered the Truffle Burger and some fries with Rick’s Sauce on the side. The Truffle Burger comes with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and truffle mayo. All in all, good meal, and an alternative to Five Guys at around the same price point. If you’d rather support a local business, this is the place for you.

My burger was very good. The patty wasn’t too thick, nor too thin. Fresh veggies, and the bun was fresh and soft. The onion rings were crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. And the fries were seasoned just right ☺️ The “Ricks Sauce,” was creamy with a hint of dill, which added that extra yum for dipping your fries, burger and onion rings into. I really enjoyed my meal. The dining area was clean, just a tad bit cold inside (so bring a sweater if you tend to get cold easily). Overall, I had a nice experience!

Local gem 💎! First time to Utica and looked for a local restaurant to go to and found this. You walk in and are greeted with vintage 90s decor on the walls and the booths. I will say their isn’t a lot of places to sit. Their menu is simple, not complicated. The prices are very good for what you get. The girl who took our order was very nice and helpful to answer any questions. They had little kiosks to take your own order too. It did take a little bit (~15 minutes) to get the food, but it comes out hot and fresh. Their cheese sauce is to die for! Definitely will stop here again if we come back to Utica!!

Awesome retro burger joint. Probably the best burger I've ever had in my life. Fries are nice and crispy. Shakes are fantastic as well! Will be coming back there as often as I can!

Enjoyed their burger, though the house sauce they put on it has a little heat if you don't like that don't get the house sauce. The milkshake was very good & they also have seasonal varieties. Kinda a weird spot as their are other businesses & offices that people go through the restaurant to get to where they are going, as a result the parking can be a little difficult at peak times like lunch.

I've been wanting to try them for a while, and was absolutley not disappointed. The burgers were fantastic, down to the perfectly sliced tomato & perfect leaf of lettuce. I will say that they could be a little but bigger in relation to the price, but they are quality. Looking forward to trying other menu items. Tenders were fantastic as well. Rick's Sauce is amazing... (when the staff remembers to include it😁)

Milkshakes are amazing. Loved the Carmel brownie so thick and chocolatey with lots or chocolate morsels inside. Chili cheese fries and onion rings had good flavor and texture. Sauses were great loved Asian sesame. Loved the old school vibes. Burger and chicken sandwich were good wasn’t a big fan of the buns though. It tasted like a delicious burger in a McDonald’s quality bun.

The fries were NOT fresh cut. They were regular frozen crinkle cut. That's the whole reason we went there. The burgers were very juicy and well seasoned. The milkshake was the best milkshake I've ever had! The chili fries were not good. It takes like "taco bell" hamburger meat over bad fries.

Fried pickles are salty. Hardly pickles flavor left. Bunless double cheese was good. Cookies and cream milkshake good. Wish I'd have stuck with strawberry 🍓 due to sweetness. Milkshake is yummy not almost $8 yummy sorry. Very clean, very nice staff

I actually enjoyed this place a couple of times, but last one was an exception. I’ve ordered a lettuce wrapped (notice the word wrapped) burger. Not a special request, it was available as an option so I chose it. Well, I guess they accidentally forgot to actually wrap it and just tossed everything in, even forgot their signature sleeve. Not really an experience I was going for.
