I don't know why this place has bad reviews! Personally, I loved the place; I visited it with my family. It's a terrace; if I'm not mistaken, it has two floors, both of which are terraces. The food was delicious. I ordered some Huasteca enchiladas, and they were the most delicious enchiladas I've ever eaten! The place is nice and quiet. The waiter who served us was very friendly and attentive! The view is beautiful; we would definitely go back. As for drinks, I ordered a vodka with fruit, and it was delicious, although a little sweet. By the way, it didn't take more than 20 minutes for our food to be delivered to our table; everything was very fast and delicious.
A popular restaurant and bar with table service, offering an extensive cocktail menu. The menu features classic drinks as well as more contemporary options that stay true to the establishment's essence. They also offer domestic beer, liqueurs, and spirits. The food menu includes sandwiches, appetizers, and a variety of Mexican, regional, and international dishes. I found the seasoning and portions to be just right. The establishment occupies two floors, both spacious rooms with a prime view of Plaza del Carmen. The atmosphere is bathed in soft lighting that accentuates the surface textures of the decor, highlighting the textures and imperfections of each space. Large, modern murals with Mexican motifs and neon lights add personality to the place, creating a cohesive look among all the elements. The furniture consists of square wooden tables arranged perpendicularly, with 28.5-inch high tables along the sides. The spacing between diners is adequate. The service was inconsistent; some waiters were very friendly, while others were completely inattentive. It felt like the demand exceeded their capacity, as there weren't many staff members. Overall, the experience was good. It's an ideal place to visit alone, in a group, or as a couple. Prices are comparable to the area, although slightly higher. Its location is excellent, as it's just a few meters from historical and cultural landmarks and surrounded by all kinds of shops. They accept credit cards.
The terrace alone is appealing, however, they require food to be purchased with drinks. I ordered fries (because we just wanted to cool off), and what I received was a sample portion (a tiny handful, as you can see in the photo). For the price, the sangria tasted only like sangria... In short, a disappointing experience. The prices are a bit above average, and with the presentation and portion size of the fries and the drink, I didn't even want to order anything else.
The best thing about this place is the view. The service is a bit slow... I recommend specifying your drink carefully, because if you get a bad one, you'll have to pay for it out of pocket. The food is average. I don't recommend the surf and turf grill at all, since the Maruchan soup has more shrimp and is bigger than the grill. The prices are a bit high for what they offer. They need to improve a lot. Plus, they force the tip into your bill, since it should be optional, given the service. The guy who served us was very friendly.
Solo aceptan INE como identificación oficial y si no traes no le permiten a nadie pedir bebidas
Te exigen el 10% si o si
They force you to buy at least one snack, otherwise they won't sell you alcoholic drinks; I don't like their policy.
Rancid, colloquial, untasted food, cold, late, dirty
The prices they mark on their menu are not, they ordered a cup of red fruit water, and when asking for the bill it turns out that they charged it at 250.00 pesos, the menu marked 130 or 135
Terrible! It took them over 45 minutes to serve us and they didn't bring us everything we ordered. The Huasteca-style enchiladas were awful, seriously! I'm giving this place half a star.
Be careful... they want to sell you drinks by the shot... and they still get mad at you for something they offer on the menu... the service is terrible. I don't recommend coming here... plus I ordered a burger and 2 hours later they told me no... the service is terrible.
It took them an hour to serve just one dish we had ordered; I really think the waiter forgot it. Besides the high prices, the food quality is terrible, and the drinks are awful. I'm definitely not coming back to this place. 😕
They take forever to bring the food, the prices are way too high for what you get, we couldn't eat what we ordered, everything tasted disgusting and the ingredients are poor quality... The enchiladas postosinas are the worst I've ever had in Loreto... I absolutely do not recommend this place.
The food is disgusting and tasteless, and they take forever to bring out the already-made enchiladas, which are super tough. The prices are extremely expensive for what they offer. Not recommended at all! Don't waste your money!
We waited quite a while. And we were very disappointed with what we ordered. We couldn't finish any of the dishes: bland, greasy, and made with poor-quality ingredients. It's a shame because it's in a great location.
It's not my style to waste time reviewing a place that doesn't even deserve a mention. But this place is so popular, there's no way I can skip it. The service is beyond terrible, the place is dirty, the atmosphere is as poor as the worst neighborhood bar, and the food, well, to be honest, after seeing all this and considering the exorbitant costs, I didn't even get around to it.
The place is not bad and the prices are affordable, but the service is TERRIBLE, it took them 35 minutes to bring a michelada to a friend, she asked to cancel it and they gave it to her as a courtesy, I arrived later and he wasn't aware, they took my order, the same one I asked for three times and his response was that there were too many people, 40 minutes passed and nothing, I told him to cancel it and he just said 'ok' (and he was still angry) at no time did he offer an apology or inform me that my drink was ready (obviously they hadn't prepared it.) I will NEVER return.
