Main Street Bagels

Our favorite bagel place in the area. I can honest say this because I got bagels from all the bagel places around a few years ago when my husband got into a bagel eating phase. Main Street bagels are by far the tastiest!

The lady who runs this bagel shop is fast and competent. If you come in regularly, she'll remember your order and your name. A nice place to grab bagels on the weekend.

These are hands down the best bagels in the area! Sano and Lina and the rest of the staff are all so kind and welcoming as well. My kids will only eat Main Street bagels :)

This place is one of the best bagel places in town. Their cream cheese is very fresh, bagels are always fresh and yummy and the owners greet you with a smile and fast service. It is also never crowded, so you are in and out in less than 5 mins.

Love this place. I have read some of the other poor reviews but never myself experienced those things. Staff has always been helpful, bagels have been tasty, and my morning egg bagel has always been a great way to start my day! I don't drink coffee so can't comment on that....

I would rate this restaurant 1,000,000 stars if I could. The staff are friendly, they have a great selection of fresh food every day, and I never have to wait more than a few minutes. This is a great local place to stop for a tasty snack!

We like this place. There's plenty of seating and the bagels and coffee are good. We didn't try the smoothies but there were quite a few people who walked in and got them while we were there so I'm assuming they are good as well.

Main Street bagels and Sen (owner) are amazing. Delicious, fresh-baked bagels and the best service imaginable. Sen somehow finds a way to remember everyone's name and their favorite order. I've seen her greet every successive customer by name on a busy morning and ask things like "would you like a blueberry bagel again for your son <Name>"? We come here 2-3 times per week and love it.

They have awesome bagels and amazing cream cheese spreads. I can hardly eat other bagels now because they just don't compare to these! The service is fantastic - they are so friendly and get to know their regulars, all while being quick!

Living in San Jose it's easy to feel anonymous and unimportant. This isn't the case at main st bagels. Every time my family visits we are greated and made to feel welcome. They have great bagels and amazing service!

Only four stars because I have been to better truly authentic bagel shops.. But, this is the voted Best Bagel Shop in Los Altos, A constant stream of people compared to Pete's Coffee 30 yards away and surprisingly many coming in just for coffee so they must be doing something right...

This place was just okay. The bagel itself was fine, but the cheese and ham used were low quality, especially considering the price was fairly standard.

I bought a toaster bagel with honey walnut cream cheese, but all I got was a bagel with a small smear of cream cheese. The bagel itself was on the dry side. The actual store is dirty, and the floors were slightly sticky. Will not be back.

Things changed and regrettably not for the better. We have been coming to this shop for years. They had excellent bagels and a very pleasant and friendly lady at the counter. No anymore. Both changed. The person at the counter is inattentive and unfriendly, the bagels are inconsistent in quality - some look like buns with no holes, some are not connected and different sizes or under baked. The price also went up over 22%. Too bad... It was nice while it lasted.

I guess the nice Asian lady who owned it, sold to someone else. The coffee is now weak, bagels are not as good. Like everyone else has mentioned the staff pay attention to their phones more than the customers. Tragic, I'll go somewhere else.

I wish the owner's would be a little more friendly, more relaxed. The bagels are ok. Hot chocolate not so much. Coffee needs a touch of love😒
