Bella Pita Los Angeles Reviews
These are probably one of the best Falafel Pitas I’ve ever had! It has got just the right amount of charing and tenderness. And they make it fresh! The self serve sauces are also quite well done. I say all this having had Falafel Pita’s in over 50+ places around the world
If you haven’t had a wowshi in your life then you haven’t lived. Truly amazing, the fresh pita and fresh veggies would wow your taste buds. A must try in Westwood, never disappoints.
I really liked this place! The prices are reasonable (around $10-13), and the food is fresh. The restaurant staff were also very warm and friendly. We ordered the classic falafel pitas and a falafel bowl; getting to add our own toppings and sauces was a creative idea!
I first came here 20 years ago and it was my go-to restaurant. Went back tonight and it's just as delicious, affordable, and decadent as ever. Also, the people that work there are so kind and helpful. My go-to is the black bean wowshi and the fried cauliflower Skip the random chain restaurants on the block and get a wowshi
Bella Pita is right near UCLA. Parking is for a fee and can get pricey. The food is amazing. They have the best pita sandwiches, all made to order and all served warm with fresh pita bread. We Love the kind service and they are fast. You order and pay at the counter and there are a few indoor seats to eat. Many people get it as take away. There is not one thing we don't like there. The prices are fair. Have fun.
I LOVE Bella Pita. Such an incredible staple of Westwood/UCLA. The food and service are excellent. I love being able to add my own toppings, and the pita is always fresh and delicious. After a long day of studying or going out, Bella Pita is always there for you with quality deliciousness! I hope this place is always around 💗
I was on my way to In n Out and just wandered in to look around, not really intending on eating here. So glad I changed my mind! Mostly due to the charismatic Celso who works here. He showed me all the fresh offerings for your pita, fresh romaine lettuce, nice tomatoes, hummus, garlic sauce, an assortment of radishes, fresh tsatziki and many more. Even MADE TO ORDER pita bread? What?? Fantastic place to eat GOOD, HEALTHY food with reasonable prices. Whats not to love? Great place, HIGHLY recommend.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place .. I mean, it’s criminal to be in this area of UCLA hospital and NOOOT stop here and get a pita. My favorite is the black bean wowshi with all the fixings and the icing on the cake for this place is all the delicious sauces! If you are in the area, please stop in and try it out!
The very best on Gayley ave SO FAR! The small portions keep me in shape and fill my body with nutrients needed to still go to class while not too stuffed and full; ready for nap time. I went in asking for a plate and they suggested the Wowshi and im glad. Rice makes me sleepy lol
The absolute best falafel in the world. I've eaten a lot of falafels & these are by far the best I've ever had. Everything is made fresh to order including the pita bread. So delicious & worth a trip here.
I feel like this place has got more expensive than it used to be when I was a student at UCLA. Still, food is delicious and the free toppings/dressing bar is awesome. Chicken wowshi, lamb wowshi, falafels are very good.
Didnt had a lot of expectation but was blown away. The self service topping was a nice touch and the garlic sauce makes it so much better
Great food. Good prices. Limited seating
Nice place for dinner (even late dinner). Koftah is very tasty, only drawback is the cozy space

Really enjoyed the food and customizable salad bar. We had a great time chatting with owner -- he explained the system and shared about their process of making fresh pita. Overall good experience!!
The BEST falafel I have had anywhere! Seriously so good!

Fast and fresh and affordable. I usually get the chicken wowshi (hot and crunchy baked to order pita). They have a toppings and sauce bar where you can load up on your fav combos. More of a grab and go place since there's 3 seats total inside.
When I first asked if they had anything vegan they said no! And then when I asked if their falafel, Hummus, garlic sauce and hot sauce is vegan, they said yes, lol. Tasty and reasonable. Had the falafel sandwich.

Great food but total nonsense with menu prices. Actual prices are more expensive. Poor guy at the counter has to explain, says "Manager won't change it." Management here is taking advantage of students. Veggie bar is awesome. It's a shame.
Used to go a lot in college but haven't been in a while, went back today to find the prices considerably higher (and incorrectly prices on their menu). I used to get black bean but chose to Branch out to falafel today. Was superbly dissatisfied to realise I paid for $8.50 basically for two little falafel patties and the toppings bar 🙃
