Blair's Los Angeles Reviews
Came here for date night. Sat in dinning room by window. Small dining area but they also have outdoor dining as well. For warm LA nights probably all good. Service was very good. Waiter was very helpful and made recommendations on the menu. The food was very good and delicious. Nice comfortable vibes. Will definitely be back.
Excellent food, 10/10 service, date night atmosphere. This is your new first-date spot, or like us your 18374th date night place. Food was solid across the board, excellent wine selection, and great service from the team at Blair’s. This will be my new go-to local dining spot in the rotation. Can’t wait to come back!
The pasta was really good, and the pizza was just okay. The highlight was definitely the staff — the waiters were super friendly and welcoming. Great service overall!
Really good pasta drinks and vibes , loved the Caesar salad, calamari, the kale gnochetti pasta & the tagliatelle
Great good. Easy restaurant to get in and out. Plenty of street parking.
This restaurant surprised me... The food is extremely good! Don't let the neighborhood vibe throw you off. They care!! Started with a fabulous deep ruby colored Lambrusco 'Tradizione Zanasi' at $52--incredibly reasonable. The Fried Calamari is highly recommended as it's one of the best I have had!! Fried with spicy red peppers and Italian parsley served with a fabulous homemade Tartar. Next a Gem lettuce Market Salad tossed with a light lemon dressing was perfect! The bread, although $12, was worth it--a quarter loaf of Sourdough Rye with butter. The Minestrone Soup was rich and full of flavor topped with Parmesan cheese. Finally the Entrees were well prepared--a respectable cheeseburger with a fabulous 'special sauce', caramelized onions and amazing parsley fries!! Also a homemade Gnocchetti with fresh mushrooms and finished with Breadcrumps and thyme. Service was a bit slow toward the end of the meal but the bartender jumped in and took over which was appreciated. The ambience inside is "foody" style smaller wooden tables with small candles. I think that table cloths are well deserved here and would be welcomed! There a few tables in the main room where the bar sits and then about a dozen tables in the nest two rooms. There is also a more casual outdoor area that is basically candle-lit wooden picnic tables. But dont worry--they care a lot more about the food than anything else and it shows from start to finish! Will return soon!!
Perfect for any occasion! We here last night for dinner with a few friends. We shared an appetizer and got one entree each which was enough but I wanted to try more on the menu! The restaurant is surprisingly big and has a large outdoor section that would be great for a bigger group. I had the Gnocchetti (shells) with Mushrooms and Bruschetta and both I would get again! Our waiter was friendly and gave great recommendations!
Great ambiance indoor and out! Food and service was amazing with an extensive natural and organic/bio wine list. I only wish they had a few more pasta options but regardless everything was great and I’m excited to go back.

Blair’s Italian Restaurant is truly a hidden gem! The place has such a cozy and romantic vibe! perfect for a date night. The service was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. Our server greeted us warmly and took her time explaining her favorite pasta dishes, which made the experience feel so personal. Then the manager came over, asked if it was our first time, and gave us a detailed rundown of the menu. You rarely see this kind of care and attention at restaurants these days! so welcoming, polite, and professional. The food? Outstanding. From the warm bread and butter to the incredible pastas and even their delicious burger, everything was full of flavor and made with care. I can honestly say this is one of the best Italian dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I’m craving a top-quality Italian dinner. Highly, highly recommended!
Blair's is a cosy little place for date nights and some quiet time. Food may not be amazing but is still very good. The staff is what makes the experience matter, specially their recommendations and friendly nature. I have mostly gone for their pasta and pizza but my partner recommends to try other items as well.
Flying under the radar while outperforming and out-executing a lot of LA’s so-called “cool” restaurants. If you’re craving fresh pasta, house-made bread, thoughtful ingredients and an ambiance that makes you feel instantly at home—while also genuinely cared for—this is the place. The dining room feels like a vacation far from the city, and the food makes you feel like a tourist in your own hometown. If you enjoy comforting food in the company of friends look no further. A true neighborhood restaurant—one that makes you feel like a regular from day one, and somewhere you return to the way you return to old friends.

Such a pleasure in every way. Great service, fantastic food and a relaxed vibe while still upscale enough for date night. A perfect local restaurant. Every dish was delicious, homemade and authentic Italian from the rib to all the pasta dishes - the putanesca was delicious, the bolognese authentic, the pomodoro was ok (could have had a fuller tomato taste), the calamari perfect, the tuna crudo amazing, the tiramisu was ok but needed more coffee. Overall pretty outstanding 9.5/10 - update - the sausage pasta is sublime: next time I’ll order the same.
There are two things Blair's has in spades: good food and atmosphere. If you've been wandering around Silverlake wondering where locals eat, this is the place you've been looking for. The menu is small, but that doesn't mean it's limited. There are some serious flavors and magical textures on this little page. The deviled eggs are a true treat as are the salads (there's sweet pickles in there!). And do not miss the grilled octopus. The flavor of each of these is unique and precise without being fussy. The entrees are exceptional as well. The pastas are made in house and the attention shows. The bolognese is sharp with a hint of spice. The trout - on a bed of cauliflower and quiniou - was delicious, while the albacore was just the right texture and temperature and matched so well with the potato below I was surprised. The wine list is extensive and the two beers on the menu are worth a visit as well. The space itself is dim, monastic and warm. There's an earthy minimalism to the space that lends itself to intimate conversation. So, if you're looking for a date spot, this is definitely it. The service was exceptional. The server was warm, friendly and happily answered the questions we had. This is a worthwhile dining stop if you're in Silverlake.
This restaurant is such a cute spot with a great vibe. It is perfect for a casual dinner or a relaxed night out with friends. The atmosphere felt cozy yet stylish, and you can tell there’s been care put into the details. The highlight was definitely the pasta. All the pastas are handmade and had that authentic, fresh texture you just don’t get everywhere. Our group especially enjoyed the spicy ones. They had a great kick and were well-balanced in flavor. The non-spicy options were decent, but a bit more on the plain side by comparison. The pizza was also solid, nicely done with a good crust and fresh toppings. One thing that stood out (in a slightly odd way) was the service. While the staff was friendly, they seemed eager to clear our plates the moment we finished a dish. It felt a little rushed, like they were trying to turn the table quickly, even though the place didn’t seem overly busy. Still, we had an enjoyable time overall. Good food, a great vibe, and a nice little spot to unwind. Would come back, especially for the spicy pasta dishes!
Food was good! They forgot a dish so we had to wave them down towards the latter half of our meal but they were able to get the dish for us once asked. It’s a bit hard to get their attention though so we were trying a bit to get water, etc. It’s a big place though- a lot bigger than it seemed outside. I’ll definitely be back to try the other dishes.
This rating is based solely on my first impression of this location. Having recently moved to the area; I tend to spend my evenings walking throughout the neighborhood, exploring and hoping to find gems such as this establishment. I fully intend on dining here either in person or at least through their online ordering process before weeks end. At which point i fully expect to upgrade my rating to a 5-star (unless a 6-star becomes available). Either way the ambiance is divine and all the customers seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their meals and company! BTW I first encountered this location @ 9p.m. on Friday 6/24
Great service, nice and cozy autmosphere. Good wine selection. They bake their own bread, and make pizza dough and pasta which is great !!! The food was decent, but they are a bit pricy.

Lovely Italian cuisine. Very understated and modest. Italian chef in the back and our waitress was also authentic Italian, definitely adds to the experience.
Nice environment, food didn’t hit! Tagliatelle bolognese was too salty. The pizza was very thick and hearty, maybe it was an off night. Service was nice and it was about $70 a person. French fries were good.

Any place which charges $12 for bread and butter is obviously gauging their customers. I found this place very overpriced, overrated, and so pretentious. My meal cost over $50 and when I got home was still hungry.

We made a reservation for five people at 7:00 PM and weren’t seated until 7:20 PM. We completely understand that weekends are busy, but what was frustrating is that there were several four-top tables available. We assumed we were waiting because a five-seat table was being prepared for us. After waiting 20 minutes, we were eventually seated at a four-top anyway. If that was the plan all along, we don’t understand why we weren’t seated at 7:00 instead of being asked to wait. What made the experience worse was the manager’s attitude. He seemed unbothered and not apologetic, and it came across as though our concerns didn’t matter. The lack of communication and customer service was really disappointing.
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST STAFF. We had a 7:00pm reservation for 5 people and were still made to wait over 20 minutes while multiple empty tables were clearly available. In the end, we were seated at one of the same 4-person tables that had been empty the entire time, with an extra chair added, right next to the restroom. There was no reason for us to wait. When we asked about it, the server didn’t apologize and told us to speak to the manager. The manager was dismissive and told us we could “wait longer or leave” if we didn’t like it. We were the only Asian group in the restaurant, and the way we were treated felt blatantly rude and discriminatory. We were made to feel unwelcome for no reason. If you expect to be treated with basic respect, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!
