Blossom Los Angeles Reviews
This is one of the hidden gems of LA when it comes to comfort food. I had the best pho soup in town, specifically ordered the ox tail pho 🤤 the broth is authentic! takes me back in time when I travelled to Vietnam. (Also, in this particular branch, if you look at their cooks, I think most of them are elders which is actually great! can’t explain it but they give this certain kind of ‘soul’ into the food they cook. taste is very comforting like grandma’s cooking. (hope you know what i mean) 😅 and +++ points for cleanliness too 👌🏾
Food and service was amazing! Came out so fast and tasted delicious. Please give this place a visit if you are looking for food around LA's Chinatown.
Love the new Blossom that just opened up! Great location and vibe here. If you've been to any other, the menu is the same but now you can have it in Chinatown! They have great vegan options which is awesome.
I'm a local and a vegetarian so I'm happy to have Sage Blossom within walking distance. The vegetarian summer rolls and crêpe are my favorites and they serve a well priced, tasty rosé as well. Sometimes the service can take a bit, but they're a small operation in an oversized venue - cut them a little slack :)
Really tasty Vietnamese dishes. The meats packed unbelievable amounts of flavor and the stir fry noodles were delicious. A nice place to grab lunch in a touristy spot.
This place is adorable and the food was so freaking good. Also, can’t beat the price. Affordable, delicious, worth the trip.
One of our favorite spots in LA to get Vietnamese food. Not only is the food delicious but it is really nice to sit and enjoy your food on site. Really well located in the middle of Chinatown. We’ve been regulars here for a couple of years and couldn’t recommend more!
Amazing food. Everything was extremely tasty. We had the beef spring rolls and egg rolls, the chicken pho and a beef rice dish. Really like the atmosphere of this place. It was really busy with two waiters on (one seemed to be new), therefore service was a bit slow and slightly haphazard, but all was forgiven when the food arrived.
They have the most tasty pho' I have eaten and was told by one of the friendly waiters the original pho' cook that brought the recipe from his country was there! What luck! Ordered the pho' of course, and it was undeniably delicious 😋 would definitely recommend.
Pho and Curry melted my heart and warmed my heart. Amazing, delicious, and made me fall for Pho. First time eating any Pho so this was quite the experience. Highly recommend
I ordered a Pho noodle dish thinking it was going to be a hot broth with beef and shrimp. Instead, it was cold noodles like a salad with sliced veggies served with a sweet and tangy dressing. Absolutely Delicious! And perfect for outside dining in the sun. Our Vietnamese coffee was on the strong side, just added more Carnation milk, ice and water and created my perfect latte.
Chinatown bit slow these days. However this place was amazing we had the shaking beef and fried rice. The fried rice was as perfectly fried as possible with the right amounts of complements. The beef was to die for. Can’t wait to return
The food was great! I ordered the egg rolls and oxtail pho with a salted plum soda. Very different than what I’m used to being from TX , but it was really really tasty. My bartender/waiter Jayden was awesome🔥
In the heart ♥️ of LA’s China Town is the Sage Blossom eatery. I go there with friends to enjoy some of the best Vietnamese food in the region. The delicious curries, soups, noodles, salads, sandwiches, spicy rice and savory rolls will feed your hungry spirit and nourish your soul. The service is always excellent and freshly prepared dishes are served quickly. This place is nostalgic for me. I’ve been eating here for many years. It’s so good! I’ve always had a magical experience. The interior is a gallery space: a clean, clear, crisp moderne setting that hosts local art on a large scale. It’s an atmospheric delight with shops bustling outside and rows of beautiful ceramic jars on the shelves at the bar. Extra tall-wide windows and open air seating frames the colorful displays for shoppers and passersby! They always prepare a satisfying meal for lunch and/or dinner where I meet with ckuents and friends. We happily dine at Sage 🌿🌸Blossom. I highly recommend it.
Lovedddd the high ceiling and ambience here! We really enjoyed sitting at the window seat to enjoy the breeze and sunlight. Pho and lemongrass beef spring rolls were all very tasty!
Quiet place, delicious food, good Asian/local beer!
Beautiful space, great music and perfect on a hot day. The food was incredible, and will definitely be back for more.
Visiting from Canada 🇨🇦 Great atmosphere, even better service. Jacob was on his toes for sure, and he is the best music!
Great Vietnamese restaurant . Good portion and incredible craft beer ! They have happy hour and the service it’s excellent . Go there if you are in the area the plaza where there is this restaurant is really picturesque
Amazing place! I think this is the best fried rice that I’ve ever tried in my life! Ingredients were super fresh, I really appreciate that. They also have a couple of vegan option that are reaaally good. I highly recommend the lager beerlao it’s amazing and really refreshing.
Really good food but a little pricey depending on what you decide to get! If ordering for pick up or delivery: the bang mi: totally worth every penny ~ any other falls dish a little short.
Very good Vietnamese restaurant Plenty of yummy things on the menu, we took 4 différents meals all were great, good service and big windows wide opened making the place quite Covid friendly!
Wow 🤗 very good food, we order a pho soup, spice chicken with rice and salad. Very clean place... The waiters very attentive with the customer. Thank you #Blossom #Vietnamese #Restaurant 🧡 Sure we are coming back 💯
Probably one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in the USA. Definitely the best in LA!

Fast service and really good food! Many things to choose from the menu, even if you don't eat meat. Really recommended!
I got the stir fry with filet mingon which was solid. Service was a little slow with only one waiter working. I would eat here again if I’m ever back in the neighborhood.
Food was good the place was clean I would like some more Chinese decor Place is very modern and simple nothing wrong with that though just very plain
Love this place! I have gotten take out and eaten at the restaurant. I love the imperial role with chicken or pork. The ingredients are fresh and everything if flavored perfectly. Their garlic noodles are also very tasty and I usually order the beef with those. I've had their pho a few times as well! Overall tasty place!
Service and environment was super chill, friendly, and attentive. Although, I was taken by surprise that not all food dishes we tried were tasty. Eggrolls, pho, coconuts were de-lish. I was disappointed with my noodles as the sauce it had a very overpowering flavor and drenched with lemon juice. The noodles were lost, the green onions didn't give off a fresh taste as the paste sauce over did it. I will say the shrimp it had was cooked to perfection. Overall experience, would eat here again.
Great food. Large selection. Large portions. Can't remember the name of the bowl I got sadly. I wasn't even hungry... and I ATE THE WHOLE BOWL! Very delicious. One of the only places where I can get Oolong tea. It was wonderful. They give you a small cup and a small pot with the brewed tea inside. Great quant vibe and good spacing of tables and chairs. A definite place to visit when in Chinatown.
We were tourists spending the weekend in LA. My daughter loves pho, and we wanted to spend a bit of time in Chinatown, so we went here. The 1st night, we had excellent service, and even better food. I got the lemongrass beef and my daughter got the pho bahn - plain noodles in chicken broth. She loved it. We knew we had to come back, even though there are tons of other Vietnamese restaurants in LA. The second night we had fair service. We had to ask for our tables to be wiped clean. Our drinks came long after our food, and nobody checked on us to make sure things were okay. Food was still great, though.
Cute and clean place! Easy quick lunch and friendly service! I got fresh rolls and pork chops over rice. Fresh rolls wrapped well… not broken. Used fresh tofu not the baked or fried one. The shrimp & pork rolls were ok, the pork a little bit dry. Pork chops were nicely cooked but it was on the salty side probably from the marinating. Overall not a bad spot if you need some food in the area. I will come back for the Bun Noodle.
4 for ambiance and cute spot. Definitely would recommend for a cute Chinatown date or catching up with friends. Pho was a 3.5/5 but it fills. Decent to mid pricing. Would go back to try other Vietnamese dishes.

Quality of food and ingredients has definitely gone down hill. Slow service and food preparation. Ate here frequently. Won’t be back. Disappointing.
I ordered the combination pho ($9.50). The soup was pretty tasty as it had a hint of sweetness to it that I don't find at other Vietnamese pho soup bases. It also had a lot more chopped cilantro and green onions which enhanced the flavor of the soup quite a bit. It made me see drink a lot more of soup than I usually do when I eat pho. However, at over $10 wit tax, the quantity you get isn't that much. The amount of meat, tripe, tendon, and brisket in the bowl was about the same amount I would get for a "small" at other pho restaurants for $6-7. The environment is definitely different than the traditional vietnamese restaurants I've been to and it's a good thing. I liked it. The service was very friendly as they asked whether or not we want to split checks the minute we sat down. Credit cards are accepted.
It was fine. Nice big airy dining room. Food and service were adequate, but nothing special. A more thoughtful choice of music, rather than loud radio with commercials would improve the atmosphere.
The grill pork in the wraps was delicious. The smelled of the sizzling steak was intoxicating (good) but sadly disappointing when we put it to the gate test. If you're near by and hungry, this place is not a bad choice.
Somehow I expected more. Food was good but nothing better then in other places. Service very amateur. I won’t go back again. I’d rather have something different. Interior needs a lot of attention well, restroom was terrible. I hope they will get my notifications and improve upon.
It's actually one of the restaurants located in that Chinatown plaza with the statue of the Sun Yat-sen sitting and chilling but it's nice there with the outdoor seating eating a banh mi, spring rolls and having a coffee. No complaints really.

Nice atmosphere, great food But the service is very slow.
I thought this place was new pho was ok. The service wasn't that great. People constantly had to keep getting up to ask for thing they needed it . Sad

We were drawn in by the positive reviews, but this is one of the worst Vietnamese restaurants I've had. I got sizzling fish and bun thit nuong and they put tomato sauce on fried fish nah tastes like ketchup?? Who does that? It completely ruined the food. The shrimp in the bun thit nuong was dry.
Spring roll is not tender at all and literally not edible. Pho is worse. Meatballs are too cooked so all jucy inside is gone and meat they are using at pho was not fresh so it has some bad odor. Not because of mint. Definitely one of the worst pho restaurants I had been. Not recommend ever.
Upset that restaurant ignored our party for twenty minutes even though we were seated first. Other tables were served, ate and left before us. Would give zero stars if I could. My son was crying. When I asked to be next, they said they were busy. Never coming back.
bahn mi is TRASH ! & overpriced! go down the street for the $7 bahn mi
