Yummy hybrid Taiyaki w croissant and waffle like cake cookie. You can get plain or filled. Plain sugar is $4 and filled w custard is $5. Comes out nice and warm.

This place is a hidden gem, I was craving my coffee and went in there, ordered the Spanish Cafe latte, first time I had it, it was deliciously well balanced between the rich coffee flavor, the milk and the slide sweetness of the brown sugar and the cinnamon putting the crowning touch. Also tried their banana matcha, which was excellent. This is now one of my favorite places. For sure I will be coming back. Highly recommend it.

Love, love, love this place!!!! The owner Jenny is so kind and friendly!! We travel a good 20-30 minutes to get here, but it is sooo worth it! There’s games to play when you sit and eat this fabulous goodness! Parking on the street is pretty good. Only once we had to walk a couple blocks, but again it’s so worth it though!!! I love how this is her baby and you can tell that she puts her all into making whatever you end up getting here. Love that! Support your small businesses and women owned at that! 😉🫶🏽💞 Go visit Jenny!!! 😁A+++ all around!

My sister and I were craving taiyaki after dinner and found Cafe Bandal! We got the pistachio and pecan praline ice-cro-boongs, and they were delicious! We really like the glaze on the outside. Combined with the generous scoops of ice cream — they were the perfect treat. I would come back when I am in the area!

My friends and I wanted something sweet to eat after brunch and we couldn’t help to stop by here after noticing Cafe Bandal’s vibrant sign. The cafe was still in its soft opening stages and the owner, Jenny, shared that the cafe opened only a few days ago. I’m usually hesitant with new cafes, but I’m glad I stopped by. I’ve never seen nor tasted anything like the cro-boong (Korean taiyaki with a croissant base) before. Not only was it super buttery, the crunch from the sugary crust gave it a nice texture. The combination of the flavors from the ice cream and the cro-boong was so good! I can still remember the taste. My friends and I got both the cream and ice cream fillings. Both were really good, but my favorite was the banana cream filling. It tasted like a banana cream pie but way better. Oh, and it was such a good combo with the cold brew einspanner. The coffee was bitter but the cream on top gave it a perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. All in all, my experience was great. The cro-boong was delicious. There was plenty of parking and the owner was super sweet. Definitely a must try! You won’t regret it.

Discovered a cute little café in K-Town! I tried the custard cro-boong, a pastry filled with smooth, creamy custard. It had just the right amount of sweetness, making it absolutely perfect. To top it off, I had a great time playing the board game Azul with my family—such a fun experience!

If there's a perfect hand held dessert, this is probably it. Cronuts are great but it's basically naked compared to this hand carry sweet fishy goodness. Cream filling or ice cream with various flavors covered by the buttery flaky and sweet fishy pastry. A must stop if you're in the area.

Very pre-coffee brain while entering and ordering a chestnut latte, and I forgot to ask for oat milk until mid-brew. The owner was very kind and remade my entire order, and didn’t ask for extra payment for the oat milk (I heavily insisted on paying anyway since it was my genuine mistake). The latte was delicious and not too sweet, and I only realized after leaving that the owner double-cupped my hot coffee so I wouldn’t burn my hand (she does have cup holders available on self-serve). Overall, really loved her care for customers, and will come back to try the other drinks!

So yummy! I decided to try something new and got the Corn Matcha Latte and a Cream-Cro-Boong with strawberry. The Matcha was sweet and creamy and the Boong was crunchy and warm making the pink cream and strawberries extra refreshing! The person working was so kind and gave me advice on what to try! I am currently doing a mini LA dessert Tour with my Hubby and this is our favorite so far!!

This place makes the most bomb dot come desserts. They were so delicious. I live too far or else I’d go to this place often for dessert 😭. A clean facility. Parking is hard to find since it’s in a cramped area but that’s LA for you. Highly recommend their banana cream filling or plain. You can’t go wrong with their menu options! Fyi they no longer have tangulu. I don’t know if they’re gone forever or just seasonal.

The cro-boong was tasty, but it seemed like it was sitting on the counter for a long time. If they heated it up before serving it, it would have been tastier. They have a few tables and board games inside.

I think this spot used to be viral but now isn’t. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their banana Nutella cream croboong. The croissant taiyaki was decently buttery, flakey, and caramilized and had a good amount of smooth cream, banana, and nutty Nutella. Not bad but now with all the other epic dessert spots lowkey eh. Banana Nutella cream croboong $5.50

Heard so much about this place and decided to come try it the other afternoon. The inside is simple although pretty. There are a few tables for customers to sit and enjoy their desserts. However, they don't have a bathroom so you'd have to go to McDonald's or Denny's down the street. Got the custard flavored croboong; this was actually okay, but they add a lot of sugar and glaze to the pastry so it was pretty sweet even without eating the inside. My mom really liked her chocolate custard one as well. If you're tired of taiyaki, Cafe Bandal could be a great alternative.

They charge $4 to park here. Should be free if I'm a patron of the cafe.
