Cilantro Mexican Grill Los Angeles Reviews
Love the food in this place and whenever I have to go to LAX I stop in. Been doing this for maybe 15 -20 years. I think the staff is not as friendly as it used to be...I asked the girl at the counter if I could have a few more chips, she said "No I'm sorry.." I thought to myself "Really? You're closing in an hour, there's 2 people in here, you've got this huge tray of chips.." a few minutes later she brought over a little French fry bag of chips, and gave me an apology...not that her saying no was rude, but I had tried to be friendly & complimentary to them earlier and they didn't respond or even smile. I said "I love this place. I live a long way away and I can't wait to stop in when I come to LAX!!" The girl looked at me with the coldest stare and just waited on me pick which rice I wanted. I said " oh I'm sorry..." she just looked at me holding the spoon up & waiting. It was cold for sure. I think there's some serious burnout with the employees or customers have been rude and they are sick of people or something, which could be the case. I just took a shuttle to a parking place, and this older woman told the Mexican driver "Don't put your haves on my bag!!" He said " Don't holler at me like that!" She responded " You shut up and don't talk to me" I thought man on man...the hostility, impatience & entitlement workers have to deal with is off the charts these days. I'm sure these employees deal with an onslaught of hollering and attitudes...Nonetheless, overall I'd say it's one of the best vegan burrito options around so I'll withstand the cold vibe.
They have the friendliest employees, the food is good especially if you like good steak in your tacos or burritos I also love their pickled onions. This is a nice spot if you've just arrived at LAX and they have a cute loteria mural for cute photo ops. It's like Chipotle where you build your plate.
7/22 We were planning to go to Togos’s and saw this place next door. I was very pleased with my steak, cheese, refried bean, pick de gallo burrito. I was surprised how good it was. Very friendly staff, very clean restaurant. Large parking lot adjacent and curb side parking, 7/26 steak burrito with everything. Very pleased again
WOW! Great food, pleasant service, excellent value! $6.50 for a big breakfast burrito with all the fixin’s, add $2 for meat (Sausage, bacon or chorizo. YUMMMMM. GREAT DEAL
I visited in September 25, on a layover on the way to Cololmbia from New Zealand. We stopped here from Burritos. Now I am always complaining that I can’t find a good Burrito. The one I had here was AMAZING. I literally think about it everyday.
Absolutely delicious!! Really beautiful food too. At first I thought it was a little pricey, but then I started eating and I realized it was worth every penny. 10/10.

I choose a burrito bowl. The flavors were comparable to chipotle. The total bill came to a little more than $17 for a bowl lunch.
Super fresh ingredients, tasty and prices are great, well served and place clean🥗🌯
First time here and there was no line! I got a chicken burrito bowl with guacamole and they gave me chips and I got a fountain drink. Great spot, food is awesome!
I got the Cilantro Salad, and it was so yummy!! I also love the decor of this place too
Cilantro salad with steak and grilled chicken , with olives, red onions, Cilantro. It was so good, with the cilantro dressing, hmmm all gone. Happy
If you like spicy, you'll love their fresh food here!

I Used to go here all the time when I was younger. The food tastes exactly the same, which is a great thing. Now they have a more spacious area for seating 👍 Highly recommend .
We visited this place a little later after work for dinner. The restaurant wasn't crowded, it's mainly for takeout. It's just like a Chipotle. The staff was a little rude, inpatient at times when deciding what to order or ordering extra. The food was decent, meat tasted like it was home-cooked, the rice and even the refried beans tasted really good. Overall, it's a better experience than Chipotle but that's my opinion. Prices were decent. Overall, the food was fresh and tasted really well. A place that we will try again despite the rude customer service.
Staff are grumpy but food pretty good
Unexpectedly tasty, a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Fast friendly service.

Here’s the deal. The food is good esp the carne and the veggie toppings. Problem: everything, minus the freshly cooked food, has a slight flowery smell of an industrial cleaner, from the tortillas to the cups for water. The service is great and it’s clean. Otherwise would have gotten a 5. For a fast food it would be quite good. Got 2 sit down meals and a plate for later that hot the spot when I ate it later.

The food was pricey but very good! But the service sucks! The restaurant was dead empty when we arrived. Around 6PM and when we got there the employees had attitudes the whole time. They were too busy gossiping and were impatient with us and rushing us.
I never received my food was charged . The ladies attention span was zero to none . She was rude and they stole from me. I will never go back. I can't show my food beca i never got it after waiting over 20 mins for s meatless quesadillas
DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTURANT! They have HORRIBLE costumer service expecially Maria. They are so rude and they don’t give you a lot of meat in the tacos , food is also overpriced you will be better off going to el unico. I asked to speak with a supervisor and they did not respond. Maria needs to be fired.
Cheese was rotten. Unfortunately I had mixed up a $20 salad before eating it so the entire thing was ruined. It had me heaving over the sink. They don’t seem to get steady enough business to properly manage their food orders and are selling expired ingredients. Could also be poor storage, but either way I can’t imagine going back. This happened to a co-worker of mine as well but I took a chance anyway since it had been a while since they mentioned it. Probably best to steer clear until they get it together, if that’s possible.
