Just discovered this place and I love it. Especially a huge fan of their happy hour. Such a good deal and the food is great as well. They have lots of tv’s if you like sports and like I mentioned before, the HAPPY HOUR is one of the better ones in the area.

This place was so great! I have not had a better time enjoying a delicious burger and a cold IPA in a long time. What made it even better was the happy hour price! Happy hour is from 1 - 7 PM, and I got a huge burger and a full glass of beer for $15. I was highly impressed, especially for Los Angeles being overpriced so much, this was a very nice surprise, and I'm looking forward to going back. The waitress was also very attentive and nice. 🍺🍔💯

Great bar, showed all the NBA games plus the tennis. Food was amazing, loads of vegan options and the portions were huge. Definitely recommend the cali wings and vegan fried chicken burger, tasted fresh and delicious.

Cool bar with nice big booths and dark wood decor. I had a Stout, chicken wings and fries. The chicken wings were crispy and had a lot of meat. Cool vibe, and a pretty good all around bar. 😎

A friend of mine took me here and it exceeded my expectations. Everything from the food and drinks, atmosphere, and service was is amazing. The burger and beer during happy hour is very delicious and reasonably priced. It was so good I went back again for the burger and beer the next day. Not only was the food good here, the music was great. The person on aux needs a raise. If rock music is your thing you will love it here. The staff were always checking up on us. Big thank you to Brianna and Manny who were very accommodating. I highly recommend everyone to check out Founders, you will never look back.

★★★★★ A True Gem: Founders Ale House Delivers on All Fronts! Founders Ale House is hands down one of the best spots in the area, and it consistently earns a five-star rating from me. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an incredibly warm and homely environment that makes you feel instantly comfortable. It's the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself, whether you're catching up with friends or having a family meal. What truly sets this place apart, beyond the inviting ambiance, is the incredible value for your money. The prices are great, especially when you consider the generous quantity of food you receive. You definitely won't leave hungry! Every dish I've tried has been not only delicious but also incredibly satisfying in terms of portion size. It’s rare to find such quality and quantity without breaking the bank. The servers at Founders Ale House deserve a special mention. They are consistently attentive, friendly, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic dining experience. Their service is efficient and always comes with a smile, making every visit a pleasure. They really contribute to the overall positive and welcoming atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere, it's just perfect. It's lively enough to feel vibrant but still allows for comfortable conversation. The decor adds to the relaxed, pub-like feel, making it an ideal spot for any occasion. Overall, Founders Ale House is an overall great place that excels in every aspect. Fantastic prices, huge portions, top-notch service, and a wonderfully homely and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a superb dining experience!

Excellent joint for a brew or a stiff drink while watching the game on the big screen. They have plenty of beers on tap and the bar is well stocked for fancy cocktails. Pizza sei is next door so this is the perfect hangout while waiting for a table or waiting for your pizza to go. Very friendly staff too.

Solid sports bar with good bar food and great service. The back room also has a foosball table and 2 dart boards. I had the habanero mango wings and truffle tots - both really yummy. My friend ordered the nachos and sliders from happy hour menu - nachos were weak with toppings but the sliders seemed pretty good. They also have a decent beer selection and TVs all around the bar. I will be back to catch more games.

Good food and great drinks. The tap list is pretty cool; Rotates often! We tried a few items on the appetizer list such as the corn dogs, tater tots with garlic. I am definitely coming back.

Solid sports bar with multiple screens and as many beers on tap. Can’t review the food because I stumbled in here while waiting for a pizza at Pizza Sei. Was packed with Miami and Boston sorting things out on the hardwood. Give it a go.

Came here a 2nd time, found a table, looked at the menu for what I wanted to order and then... waited and waited and waited. No one come came by to asked if I wanted a drink or brought water. I looked around and tried to catch someone eye, but it seemed I was invisible. So decided to wait a bit more. After being invisible for 20 minutes. I stood up and started to gather up my stuff - and then a waitress seemed like she finally saw me started over, but I walked out. Seems like the staff was 100% focus on people at bar, and just ignoring the tables. If someone had just came by and said we are busy and will be with you soon, I would have stayed, but being ignored for 20 minutes really ruined any desire I had to patronize this place. Doubt I will be back anytime soon, maybe in a few month if they have hired some new staff. It was easier and quicker to get an pint can at 7-11, order burger at Jack in box and dine at home. And in case anyone is going to claim "it was game night" - I came after the sports games where mostly over, and the place was not at all crowded.

Great food and service- music is too loud though. Really difficult to have a conversation with anyone.

Dated pub that needs to refurbish it's booths. Menu is pretty standard for a pub and food is mid. Also they played nickleback so it was hard to not be sick to your stomach.

Updated review, the decor and food are still good but the beer selection has really gone downhill in the past year or 2. No variation basically ever (even though there's supposed to be a rotating menu), and a third of the time you try to order something, they're out of it. For a place labeled 'Ale House's, how are the drinks the worst part of the experience???

Really weird vibes in here for a local bar. Servers and bartenders are not friendly at all. The bartender charged me extra for a happy hour beer when the price is on the menu lol. Great way to earn tips. Go to any other sports bar in Los Angeles that actually has energy and a fun vibe. Jamesons in Culver City, Barney’s Beanery in WeHo, or 33 Taps all better options than this place.

Came here to watch a football game and was told they have happy hour every day from 2–7. Once we arrived, we were informed that happy hour doesn’t apply during football games, which makes absolutely no sense and is not clearly communicated anywhere. If you advertise a daily happy hour, it shouldn’t suddenly disappear because people are actually there watching sports. The staff blamed it on the owners, but regardless, the explanation and attitude weren’t great. Overall, misleading and disappointing experience.
