Not a green tea fan, but have heard throughout my life about the benefit of it. I had to stop by to make a video call. I chose this spot just randomly. I am so happy that I did. I didn’t know what to get, and I looked around to see what other ppl have for themselves. There was one table right in front of the counter. Looks like it was a mother and daughter date. They had this pretty drink so I pointed that to the Barista. He said it was a matcha green tea, and I asked for the cold version of it. Maybe they could only do cold…who knows. I was like Matcha…urgh…not my thing, but just happened to say yes for it and he asked me if I want sugar in it. I asked for the one with no sugar. I….loved it. They have a really nice space on the back area where you are unbothered and left alone. The customer service is great. Thank you for creating such a beautiful place.

Fabulous breakfast spot, sandwiches and bagel were amazing, so is the matcha iced tea. We tried the mortadella sandwich and turkey-avocado sandwich, both were so delicious, they prepare fresh. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you

The ricotta toast and lavender lattes are completely to die for for. I mean, I’m obsessed: ricotta, dates, pistachios, pomegranates, rosemary, and honey. God. I mean , seriously.

Javista Coffee Hollywood is a hidden gem! The customer service was outstanding — everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The place is spotless, with a relaxed and inviting vibe that makes you want to stay awhile. My order came out exactly as expected, and honestly, it was one of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time — rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. I also tried their bagel, and it was amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and just what I needed to start the day right. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Great people, great coffee, great experience all around!

Years ago I had one of their bagels (at the West Hollywood location) and I never got it out of my mind, it's that good! Love this new location in Hollywood. The parking is a lot easier than the location on Highland, and the large windows, front and back patio are really welcoming. Love the whole vibe of the place, very friendly and easy! And the bagel ("Garden Bagel") is still delcious!! Also tasty vanilla latte.

Stumbled upon this cafe while exploring Hollywood and it ended up becoming a highlight of our trip. Service was great already but the custom drink our cashier recommended (Chaga Matcha with a shot of espresso) turned out to be the best coffee we had for our entire stay. A lot less touristy than the other cafes we visited and looks like a place I'd frequent if I lived in the area. Bagel was great too.

WOW! I love how spacious and cozy Javista is from one end to the other. My cappuccino was steamed to perfection. The turkey and avocado sandwich was exactly what I needed to hold me over until dinner. I give this shop TONS of credit for continuing to make the experience exceptional despite the rising cost of goods across the board. They’ve been in the game for 13 years so clearly they know what they’re doing. Be sure to visit the next time you’re around Hollywood. Great drinks, excellent food and a staff that ties it all together. You’ll be glad you stopped by. ❤️

The compass on my internal coffee sensors took me north to a spot in Hollywood. It's directly across the street from Hollywood High and the coffee shop itself looks like a set of Hollywood world premiere. The atmosphere alone makes you feel like you're going to have a cappuccino with Leonardo Decaprio. The service was great, and the food/drinks deserve a Tony award. It was too hot for coffee so we went with refreshing the Lemonade and Matcha Green Tea. Everything was freshly made to order and delicious down to the last bite. Definitely worth returning to!

Good place to get some work done. They have plugs and it’s usually quiet. I recommend the salmon avocado split. It’s seasoned to perfection. The coffee is good and they also have fresh orange juice! There are some tables outside as well!

This place is great! I met the owner while buying some coffee one day and he was so pleasant. I stop in when I'm in town and always enjoy the food and drinks. They offer great options and even add CBD to the lattes if you want! Sometimes they have vegan desserts which we love! Thank you for your great personality and service.

Love this cafe on the street close to Holiwood Bld. If I were a local, I would go there often. The staff were friendly; there was a pleasant atmosphere, a lovely menu, and a good quality cafe. It has a very relaxed atmosphere. I wish I had taken more pictures to show you.

Probably my favorite coffee shop ever. There's lots of plants (I just personally like the plant esthetic), there's unique drinks, delicious pastries, music at the right volume and nice baristas. I would have stayed there literally all day if I could have. There's also outside and inside seating which can be pretty nice. Their coffee beans are great, got a bag to take home and they have been delicious for my French pressed coffee. If I'm ever back in LA, stopping by here again.

The drip coffee is brewed right! Not burned. Just perfect. They use a light roast which isn’t sour. Fruit forward and a pleasant smell. The blueberry scone is delicious. Ask for it to be heated. Coffee taste 10/10 Coffee brew 10/10 Scone 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 8/10 (would be 10 except there are several homeless folks outside using the outdoor seating next to the entrance. It can be intimidating to enter the cafe.

Loved the vegan almond muffin. That's a new item there. Next time I'm going to try the poppy seed one, which they told me that everyone loves. Chaggachino with almond milk tasted good as well. You can choose from almond, oat or hemp milk, and of course regular milk. There are also savory vegan croissant and other things to go like chia pudding or fresh orange juice. You can also buy other little things besides the food and drinks such as little diaries, cups, cutlery, also mixes to bake at home like corn bread etc. Nice atmosphere and interior.

Was visiting, such a welcoming environment and delicious toast and fantastic sparkling matcha. Manager made us feel welcome and great experience. Coming back the next time we are here!

The entrance is on Sunset (google maps as of today says entrance is on highland) I believe they moved locations not too long ago so maps isn't updated yet. I got the cappuccino - they made it pretty well I feel most coffee shops in LA turn capps into lattes...I also got the sunrise bagel. Cream cheese, tomato, arugula, and a sprinkle of bacon bits (nice and crispy) I would give 5 stars but 15 bucks for tomato and arugula is pretty steep. Makes more sense if it was like lox? I get that pricing for tartine, sycamore kitchen, dialog cafe etc since they either make their own bread in house or buy all their veggies from the farmers market etc but it doesn't seem like the case here. But I get it, it's Hollywood and you gotta pay off your renovation costs. It's clean and there are outlets! So anyway $25 bucks for a cappuccino and a bagel..... come treat yourself~

Cute café in WeHo. My Matcha was good, it tasted super fresh and so did my toast. It was pretty overpriced (44.50$ for 2 ppl) but again it’s in West Hollywood so it is to be expected.

The vibe here felt off. I ordered a cold brew and didn’t really feel welcomed. Even no response to my thank you, just an unfriendly look. This hasn’t been the first time either. When there used to be a girl barista, the energy was way more positive and it honestly made my day. Hope the customer service improves.

STAY AWAY!! (Tl Dr at the end)(see photos for disgusting food) I wanted to like this place, in fact I’ve ordered from here maybe 3-4 times. The food WAS decent (small portions for the price) the coffee is good but I’ve got to be honest. The service is…strange. It’s almost welcoming, half industrial, half cliche baristas who kind of ignore you. If you order online, I can confirm a 20-25% upcharge on menu prices. I can’t tell if they need to hire more people, or change their layout. But if you’re like me, and try to skip lines by ordering ahead, be aware of the increase in prices and the lack of expediency. I went in for my order today, it wasn’t fully ready, that’s totally fine. Having worked in F&B I don’t like to be one of those delivery guys who stands in the way phone out. So after being told it would be a few minutes I went to sit, well within eye-line. Literally 2-3 steps away on a stool. They had two guys working the counter and I believe the owner was sitting next to me. They proceed to finish making my coffee, take my food out of its bag for some reason and set it on the counter. The guy who helped me originally went back to making food and the other guy just totally ignored it. I wasn’t 100% sure if it was my order so I waited, even tho it was not busy. (Practically empty). A new customer, waiting for their online order walked right up, fully picked up my coffee, touching the lid with their entire palm, inspecting it before putting it back down. That’s where I’ve got to draw the line. It’s one thing to leave an order that is ready to go, (which is already suspect, why not tell me?) but to let a stranger touch where I’ll be putting my mouth? They then served her and a few other people. I had to get back up, mind you my seat was literally 2 steps away, and start the process again, get it re-bagged. I wasn’t going to make a scene but I was really grossed out a stranger unhygienically touched my drink all over. At least keep orders somewhere safe if you’re going to let them sit…which you shouldn’t be doing. On top of that check out how my Burrito came out… I picked this up myself and it was handled with care. It’s completely inedible, or looks like it was stepped on. Tl Dr: food was decent, coffee is okay, service is horrendous, upcharge for ordering ahead is wild. Check your order before leaving. Plenty of other cafes in hollywood for you to go instead. Parking is terrible since it’s on Sunset, just as an fyi
