La Terraza Cafe Los Angeles Reviews
lovely local spot! the french toast & soy cappuccino were delicious and generous, I would get them again. heads up they mentioned that they don’t have wifi
Staff is nice and accommodating, I didn't want a burrito or sandwich. So they made me a plate of items I did want. Notice I got a whole avocado, that is rare THANK YOU!! Food was delicious and fresh.
Great small Cafe. Our food was exquisite. Staff were super friendly. Very after prices.
The vegan sandwich was fresh and amazing!
Searched this place after the Diplo 5k. We loved the food and the service here. Pretty affordable for LA prices. The ambiance was a calm setting. We arrived here around 1pm. The food was very filling and delicious. It had a lot of flavor for just a few ingredients in the breakfast burrito. Definitely worth it! Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito: 4.5/5 Iced Horchata Latte: 3.5/5 (missed some flavor, lack of sweetness)
A great surprise! From the outside you wouldn’t guess how cute it is inside, with such a nice atmosphere and friendly service. The food was really good. My avocado toast with two sunny side up eggs was delicious, and the Nutella waffle was tasty too, though I wouldn’t have minded a little more Nutella. Overall, a great option in this neighborhood.
Try the Oaxacan Hot Chocolate with an espresso shot. It'll change your life. And the waffels are so good 🧇
This is an unassuming and charming cafe with a nice ambiance and remarkable level of service. The food is fresh and certainly good, though perhaps not knock-you-off-your-feet good. While I loved my chai latte and highly recommend it, I would have to say the sandwiches were somewhat pedestrian, though the brioche w/ egg & sausage stands out among those my group and I ordered. What really makes this cafe memorable is the quality of service and the friendliness of the staff. It was a joy to eat here! They also have good Wi-Fi!
Came to this coffee shop before noon and they still had the breakfast menu, which it is was delicious. What we had was really good. The French toast were really good, we also had another breakfast plate, eggs, bacon, home fries potatoes and bread. The bacon was delicious, the potatoes were average, everything was tasteful. The regular coffee is average, tasted like dark roast but not too strong. My husband had the pumpkin latte and he liked it. The owner was super friendly and helpful, their best seller is the Chai latte, but they also offer seasonal coffees. The place is super cute with a Guatemalan kick. We went on a Saturday late morning and it was pretty quiet. Some people like to come to work and drink coffee in this unique coffee place. The lunch sandwiches are delicious too!
1ST Time I try but not last. Parking can be tricky but worth it. The service was great nice and friendly. Prices are reasonable keep in mind its quality food. The food was delicious I really enjoyed the Lox Bagel and my wife her Waffle with mixed berries. I will be returning to try other stuff, oh my wife also enjoyed the coffee and potatoes. 4 out of 5 only because of parking. Take out only right now during Covid. Food carries well.
Great service by Eva. 1st time here. What a secret jewel in City Terrace area, close to DTLA & CSULA. Street parking. Yummy cafe de olla, brioche breakfast sandwich was delicious with a sauce with a kick & arugula salad. You MUST have the French Toast. OMG!!! SO DELICIOUS.

The cold brew is delicious, as was the challah French toast and bacon breakfast burrito! It was so good, that I went two mornings in a row :)
Amazing delicious foods! Been going since they first opened! My family and friends also love it. Definitely a must for a delicious breakfast con su cafecito
Breakfast is amazing here. Coffee is great. Would appreciate more friendly customer service. Never a wait & calm atmosphere. There is some alley parking If street spot are taken.
🌍 ❤️🩹 📝 ⭕️ Good morning, I am in the building with another review. Today I am at La Terraza Cafe in the city of Terrace. This is a great little coffee shop in the hood. Very trendy in ambiance and delicious in food and beverage. Great place for breakfast or lunch. With a nice size dining / lounge area. With Wi-Fi and lots of charging outlets this is on of my secrete spots. Today I am trying the strawberry and Nutella Waffle. Okay thanks for letting me share ✌️
Place is a bit hard to find, needs better signage. Interior is a bit dark especially when going to get breakfast or lunch. Food was really good in general, french toast are on the heavy side. They didn't have strawberries on that day so we substituted with mixed berries, totally worth it!
Great taste, good service, and love the decoration. It a small place, but the food is great. The portions are good enough and the breakfast sanwich has a great taste and it is served with salad. I wish they have pastries, but that is just my opinion.
Hidden gem. Nice ambience and plenty of elbow space. We came at the right time and beat the crowd. Waffle served with a generous pile of fresh fruit on top. Yogurt was excellent. Just wished they added a dollop of cream on the waffle and melted the cheese in my sandwich.

Walking in is awkward as there is nothing to tell you that you need to order first and then have a seat. I walked in, tried asking a person that was cleaning if we seat ourselves and no response. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't hear me. I walked up to the cashier that is located in back of the restaurant and asked. She said to order first. There were no extra menus available to look through while people were ordering and paying. We waited until we were in front of the cashier to look at a menu, which is awkward and feels rushed. Food was delicious, a bit pricey for quantity. I ordered cafe de olla and it was only coffee with cinnamon powder😒. We ordered waffles, brioche French toast (this was a little undercooked), and waffles with nutella and strawberries (not pictured). For 4 people the total was about $75 including tip.
