La Tostaderia Los Angeles Reviews
ordered the sampler platter and the vinaigrette tostada. The tacos sizes made me giggle but they fooled me for sure! They came in packed with flavor and sure it was a 1-2 bite taco but they were vibrant and flavorful. The Vinaigrette was SOOOOOO GOOOD had me ignoring the fact that my sodium levels were spiking. 10/10 I’m coming back again
Love the new look! This place has some of the best seafood tacos I’ve ever had. We got the soft shell crab taco and the fried fish (not you typical Baja style) and I’m still dreaming about them today. I never used to stop here until LA Times did a “101 Best Tacos in LA” spread, and I’m so glad they listed this place because it’s a necessary stop for me every time we go to GCM.
The Patrona burger is by far, the best seafood burger I’ve ever had! I learned about the burger after watching an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and it sure didn’t disappoint! I would highly recommend the burger to try.
Great fish ceviche! The menu items are a bit pricier but worth it! It was my first time here and I will definitely come back. I came here on a Monday during lunch and there was only one person working. There were two guests before me but the food did not take very long to get.
The fried shrimp tacos were delicious!
This is one of the grand central markets gems. They are making the most unique seafood with a twist. If you want to try most of their flavors then try the sampler which is packed with 6 small tostada and tacos. They have an awesome tasting burger made up off shrimp and gooey cheese. They had Guy Fieri stop by and I can see why. Everything is made fresh and the presentation is awesome. Come on by and check them out.
I got the mixta tostada and it was fresh and delicious. Worth every penny baby! No wait and I even sat at the front on a Friday
Overall great ingredients, fresh and cooked perfectly tender. The sampler is probably the go to item on the menu at currently $22. All tacos had proteins that were cooked tender: fried fish, fried shrimp, char grilled octopus, grilled shrimp, fish ceviche, and shrimp ceviche. They are certainly priced much much higher than other taco places with smaller serving sizes
We've been walking around, not sure what food to get. However we came by La Tostaderia and the people were really nice. Also the food looked amazing. Fortunately they have a plate with six different mini tacos. It was absoloutely delocious and we really anjoyed our food here. The atmosphere? Not many words needed: Grand Central Market.

Surprised by the quality and taste of the food. The Tostada Mixta de Mariscos was amazing. Very large portion, very fresh and tasty! This place is overwhelming but you can't go wrong with Mexican style seafood here!

The Patrona burger was fantastic. I've eaten in the central market a few times and it is hit and miss. I was wandering around, not really sure what to eat, and I saw somebody eating the patron burger and since it looked pretty good, I thought I'd try it. Best decision I've made all week. It was nearly $20 with tip but honestly, I wish I had another one right now. It's that good. It's basically a shrimp burger, but not a patty. It's big juicy shrimp. The cheese, the condiments, the bun--everything was spot on. I'm not one to gush, and I've given some other places in the market less than glowing reviews, but this deserves high praise.
Ordered the fried fish tacos that were nice but slightly underwhelming for the price. Portion sizes are not large. Staff are lovely and service was quick.
Definitely order their Shrimp Ceviche as the appetizer of your entire journey of Grand Central Market, the shrimp is fresh, the lemon seasoning is sour and light, very good as a starter while get to enjoy Mexican seafood and Tostadas.
Loved their seafood soup! The sampler is a little on the pricey side but it's good to see what they offer. The one I would recommend it the grilled octopus taco, it was delicious. The cashier was pretty rude but besides that, the food was really good.

First time here, and was eager to try tacos gobernador. For me, tacos gobernador is made with shrimp, I have not tried them any differently. I place my order of two of these and add 1 hard shell shrimp taco. I receive the tacos and realize the gobernador taco is not shrimp. I look up at the sign (which I missed this part) and see it says shrimp or tuna. The cashier did not ask me which type I wanted and when I get up to let her know, she simply says, "tacos gobernador are made with tuna." When I mentioned why she didn’t ask me and pointed up at the sign, she simply stood silent. I ate about half of one taco and threw away the rest. I gave it 3 stars because the hard shell shrimp taco was delicious. This place needs to know what they're selling and should ask their customers what kind of tacos they would like and list the choices.

This place is just pretty. The food is overpriced and underwhelming. My birria tacos were below average. The guacamole needed salt and lime. The drinks were good but were 80% ice. We had like 3 different servers, no one bussed our plates, we got water 1 time. It was a completely underwhelming experience.

I didn't get everything that comes in the dish. I don't think it's fair for you to have to tell me what your comes with. What I ordered came with avocado they didn't put it. If it's on the menu with it in the description I think it should with or if their out of a certain item they should let you know before ordering.
I ordered seafood food bowl. they gave me a smaller bowl. I tell them fast advertisement they bowl it more larger you can see on the picture
I ordered : Shrimp ceviche Fish ceviche Aguachile Definitely the food needs flavor as ASAP The service fogot limes and bring the salsas and napkins Owner!! You need to improve the food and service
Terrible attitude from the employee. We asked to order and she told us we had to wait 5 minutes to order. More time passed. The young lady was taking my order when the employee who was preparing it answered, "There was still a lot to prepare, that if we wanted to order we had to wait 15 more minutes." They need to be more organized and hire more staff to avoid this horrible bad moment. Terrible attitude of the employee in preparation🤬🤦🏻♂️😠😡🤯
We were here and the lady taking the orders is extremely rude, when i wanted to place an order she gave me this attitude told me to wait 10 minutes as she was not taking orders yet i said ok i would wait she proceeded to rolled her eyes at me. After about 15 minutes when back and likely screamed at her co worker that she was not ready yes to not take the order with this horrible attitude.. sad 😔
Overpriced & overrated. Two fish tacos cost $16 and look at the serving size per taco… insulting.
