Minon Cake Los Angeles Reviews
Please support this delightful little business! It's worth every penny. Easily some of the tastiest boba tea downtown and the deserts are creative, beautiful, and so tasty!
Mango smoothie with boba 10/10 recommend! Also Tried the Oreo sea salt cake and was so good! Such a cute clean place will definitely come back!
I absolutely love their shaved snow ice. Their desserts are creamy and nicely sweet. Nice clean environment, friendly staff, can’t recommend more!
Drinks were good, boba was okay. The cakes were delicious 😋 I reccomend ! Service is great very nice and friendly, and honest.
The BEST always. The Super Orange tea has been a go to for years but I tried the Strawberry lemonade and it’s AMAZING. All made w smashed fresh fruits a must Plus they were decorating a cake while I was there so that was cool to watch
Cool temperature inside to take a break from Chinatown heat. Friendly service inside, and I got the mango smoothie at 75% sweetness and light ice. It was incredible and had bits of real mango! Friend got the brown sugar tea with extra boba, loved it. Prices are reasonable, with limited seating. Would definitely come back!
What a delightful bakery and coffee shop! I stumbled upon this gem looking around Chinatown for some boba. Their drinks are on the steeper side but they are so good!! Even the cups are cute. I saved my cup after the boba cause the quality of it is so well made that I have to use it again. For 2 milk tea bobas it was $11. They specialize in custom cakes and had a few on display that were mind blowing. The Hello Kitty goth cake was next level. You can find baked treats, custards, mini cakes, and snow ice here ☺️🍧 There’s some seating inside and along the window a few tables and chairs. It’s a delightful spot to look out and gaze at busy Chinatown. Parking is available along the streets in metered spots. Everyone working there was super nice and the service was fast despite the line.
Wayyy awesome and cute new dessert spot! Their mango smoothie with brown sugar boba is an absolute must. It was so tasty and refreshing. The oreo cake was good but the strawberry cake roll was so soft and magical tasting with fresh strawberries on top and in the center. I will be back to try other desserts!
LOVE THIS PLACE!! Service is fast and staff are super friendly. Drinks are real brewed tea that isn’t too sweet, not powder mix. Seating is simple and inviting, music isn’t too loud. Everything about this place is perfect!
Serious, best orange green tea. It wasn’t too overpowered with sugar and it just hit the spot. If you are trying to just have a great boba without all that line hype that other places have, try this. It’s a hidden gem.
Best mango smoothie I’ve ever tried, they do cakes too, and let me tell you they look really really good, and for a good price too! I would absolutely recommend this place!
Boba 🧋 is great 😊 I recommend the passion fruit with black tea and the taro boba. The cakes are also soo good! Service is kind and friendly, I recommend this place

the best plain milk tea (25% sweet, free boba) ive had in the US. they've got seating and a restroom. No annoyingly loud music. Heat in the winter time!! And it's not dingy as the norm in Chinatowns. they also were kind enough to let me eat the best bhan mi sandwich ($6 cash) I've had in a long time from next door. the internet said Chinatown is dead. I still prefer it over strip mall land of SGV. Maybe it's time for some new shops to open.
Good place. Mango towel roll is very tasty with real mango! 🥭 😋 Rose boba milk tee with crystal Boba very interesting and tast sing. Because of no costumers against me, I've gotten my tea instantly. Hightly recommended this place. Price 16$ for all.
I love this place does anyone know what’s happening to it?? It says closed on yelp but we love this place and want it to stay open!!
Minon Cake is awesome. The owner is awesome. She is an absolute genius when it comes to creating cakes, and a true artist. Her cake skills are just ... amazing. She is hands on at this cute little shop. If you're lucky you might meet her. If a full cake dream is not your thing I highly recommend a visit for their single serving cakes and drinks. Durian cake slices are the best I've had, who doesn't like a nice cold Boba drink on a hot ... well ... any day! Parking is a little tough, but It's Chinatown so you'll find something within a few strides. Or, bring your bike. Even inline skates are welcome! Z parking spaces right in front. ;) Cakes do cost a bit but the value far exceeds the price. Quick sweet bites and a Boba can be had for less than $20. So order a cake! Support a local business, a sweet owner, and friendly staff.
A standout in Chinatown for anyone with a sweet tooth, the desserts here are as visually stunning as they are delicious, and the cozy, clean vibe makes it a perfect little escape.

Thai tea was fire. Good price and they dont scam you with ice like so many places.

Our go-to boba place in Chinatown, possibly in all east LA. Service was overly kind and the drink portions were generous. My boyfriend ordered the watermelon boba. Cute ambiance and was super cozy/heated inside, so was a nice retreat from the cold. Will be back to try more boba options!
We were craving some boba and found this place near the new Mama Lu’s Restaurant! Got their mango pamelo drink with tiny tapioca balls and it was delicious! Almost as good as Phoenix Dessert but the mango or sago was sour at the end. Pricing is kinda high ($7 for one drink). Non-dairy creamer is available though so my stomach was not destroyed :0) It’s cute inside and has a clean bathroom. Their cakes look really good!

Stopped by here to try out their cake. Small shop with a cozy interior. Friendly staff. Felt adventurous and got a slice of the durian crepe. Liked the fruit layers but the cake layers were a bit soggy and the cream had barely any flavor. Surprisingly expensive. Reminds me of Lady M crepe cakes but pricier and not as good, would probably come back and try the bubble tea though.

Had the Tiramisu, Crepe Chocolate Cake and Orea Cake. The tiramisu was hard and dense, the crepe chocolate cake had an odd flavor. If you are looking for a Lady M alternative then this is definitely not it. The icing on the oreo cookie cake tasted like pure butter. Very disappointed and very rare for a place to strikeout on all items.
