POT Los Angeles Reviews
I love this place. Been coming here since 2022. Clay is a humbling and intimidating medium, but the staff at Pot Gardens is super friendly and encouraging. There are so many interesting and unique classes to choose from that even now as a member, I'm still tempted to sign up for one off classes to try my hands at techniques I never considered doing on my own. It's definitely worth giving this place a chance 💕✨
POT is such a welcoming space from the moment you walk in. The instructors are amazing: very patient, encouraging, and great at explaining techniques. They always remind us, "there's nothing I can make on the wheel that you can't" and then help you make pieces you thought were impossible. Also, the playlist is bomb!
My class at POT Gardens was fantastic! This was my second hand building class, coil construction. Liz, our instructor, was so lovely, kind, and knowledgeable. I'm thrilled and hooked! Looking at their "studio time" and applying for membership! Thanks, POT!
Did the Pot & Paint on Saturday and had a such a fun time! Very Chill, brought some snacks and a couple J’s. Salima was so nice and was a great host. Very helpful with the whole process. paint and how to making my pipe really pop. It takes like 30 days to get the finished product. Excited to see how it turns out! So worth it! thanks a so much!
amazing staff and instructors! hands on & very patient with students :) learn so much & planning to come back for more courses
Pot is a treasure in this neighborhood! Creativity, activism, community, amazing vibes.
Awesome class!!! Tania was very informative, kind, enthusiastic, we took the mugs class in Spanish and had an amazing time. Will take multiple classes here.
Love this studio! I took Handbuilding 2 and everyone is so friendly and not pretentious at all. Didn't have that stiff feeling that I got from some other studios. 420 and BYOB friendly too! I will definitely be back.
Really fun experience! Very welcoming atmosphere and great teacher!
Loved the Ash Tray making class! It was so much fun. I would recommend more people take a one time class to have fun and get to explore pottery. Such a creative wonderful time at Pot Gardens!
Completed my 4 week Wheel 1 class with Clarke, and it was fun and informative! Can't wait to pick up the glazed pieces in 2 weeks. 🥰
I’ve taken two series classes here — wheel 1 extendo with Clarke and handbuilding 1 with Ebony. both were amazing teachers and great classes. chill vibes all around. definitely will be back!
All the instructors I’ve had at POT are so amazing & caring <3 hand building was my favorite! I’ve learned so much thank you !!
This is one of my favorite places in LA! They have the funnest workshops and creative series that no other pottery places have. The space is so beautifully designed and really inspires you to make something dope. At their events like Culture Day, they always have the best food/drinks vendors and one of a kind ceramics for sale! Can’t wait to take another workshop here with the lovely staff and community.
took 6 week wheel 1 course and it was great! learned a lot. great vibes in the studio. shout out to our instructor angel - a very gifted teacher & ceramicist.
I have taken a number of wheel classes at POT and have loved all of them. I'd recommend taking the extended courses for more practice time on the wheel.
Ebony is a Great instructor. Her Love of hand building is quite Obvious through her enthusiasm in teaching. Courtney in the back office was also exceptional to work with. I found her to be always professional and very accommodating.
It's such a good experience. The vibes are chill and you get to take your time painting the pieces Definitely would do it again . .
My fiancé and I had a great experience making mugs. The facility is graceful, well maintained, and the instructors are so kind and patient. Highly recommend people to take pay them a visit
LOVEEE this place, booked another course while I was still taking one. About 4 courses in now, and too many drop-in classes to count! Great vibes, amazing community-minded programming, the instructors have the best energy, and you’ll always be in community with other kind spirited people. Highly recommend ✨
