I’ve been at this restaurant a couple of time and it’s always a great and consistent experience. The place can get a bit loud inside. They did have some outdoor tables before, which was so nice! Sad that they can’t have them anymore. At the table when starting you get a fresh bowl of some raw vegetables to enjoy with a balsamic vinaigrette. But, one amazing thing at this restaurant is that they bring you complimentary freshly made bread (like soft pizza crust) with olive oil and herbs on it. It may sound like a small detail, but not a lot of places anymore will give you that for no charge (especially higher end places) and most importantly, it is delicious! They have a lot of different options in the menu, but I’ve always got pasta here. The burrata is great as a nice fresh appetizer. The pasta are really good. The Al Funghi ones are always a good option. I sometimes get ones with white sauce and shrimps. It is a great authentic italian restaurant to try. They do have a bar on the other side with a shorter food menu options - but also a great place to check out.

We’ve been going to Toscana for over 20 years. Toscana has a very special place in our hearts. My wife’s birthday was last week and she wanted to go to Toscana to celebrate her birthday as always. It’s exceptionally consistent service, food, and atmosphere one of my all-time favorite places to go!

Amazing 🇮🇹 cuisine with a friendly staff Who are quick with a good wine pairing or recommend a special. With an open kitchen where you can watch them make your pizza flip the dough or check out their homemade pastas you'll enjoy the show. Seems to be good for small to mid-size parties with easy valet parking. Definitely recommend giving in a shot whether it be lunch or dinner 👍🏼👍🏼

Nice bar that’s sister to Toscana restaurant for a more casual experience with same extensive wine selection. Nice drink selection. Pretty new so don’t need reservations but you are able to though. Only been here once so far but may come back again.

My friend and had an early dinner at Toscana a couple of days ago. First time at this restaurant, and it will not be the last, we will bring our friends to join us for another great experience. The service was supreme, the food delicious and the cocktails amazing too.

Great pasta, got the spaghetti with clams. Nice staff and atmosphere too. Accommodating for elderly too.

Considering the dozens of great Italian options on the Westside, Toscana is the most consistent of them all, has the best service, and offers tons of uniquely healthy yet flavorful dishes along side traditional favorites. My parents began taking me when Toscana opened in 1989 so I've been hooked for over 30 years. Just don't walk too quickly through the dining room or you will miss most of Hollywood eating at the tables next to you.

Home away from home and a westside institution. This is as close to a true Italian restaurant as you’ll find in LA - with lovely food and truly lovely people.

I met my old friend here for a dinner. We hadn’t seen each other in decades. He comes here to eat often and I would imagine the folks know him. The food was excellent and the waiter fairly patient with my old friend. But he Acted patient and that was unnecessary. When we got out to get our cars, it was a cash only situation. This is highly unusual these days. It’s usually no cash, right? At any rate, they wouldn’t take his credit card and he refused to go get cash. They’re right down here all the time they know me. Finally somebody who knew him came and took his credit card. By then there was a line and it was kind of stressful. The thing that makes these kinds of upscale dining places worth the money is is they treat you like they know you. Brentwood is a neighborhood- in spite of what outsiders may think- folks grow up and grow old here. Many people who frequent the places are important people in show business..that’s a given. While I might disagree with not heeding the “no cash” sign, I think first and foremost the customer is right- especially old folks who don’t understand the disconnect between now (who cares?)and Then - when people did whatever it took to make sure they kept the customer happy. Though my food was delicious, I thought the place aLittle too noisy And bright - not great lighting. There is a nice outdoor area. but I will certainly not refuse an invitation to meet someone there in the future. Maybe try for lunch instead of dinner. maybe not park with the valet.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 31 years. The fact that it is still in existence and successful is a testament to the chefs and the management. Everyone from management to valet are so attentive. And the food is divine. And the foccacina is like no other!

It's not an inexpensive restaurant but I'm comparing it with its own kind. I love food and I go to different types of restaurants all the time. We went here for my wife's birthday. We are not rich at all, but we do spend money on quality. The food and service here was beyond anything that we had had in a long time. Their bread is as authentic as it gets and their lamb is just amazing and sucilant. The tagliatelle bolognese that night reminded us of our grandma's cooking when we were kids. Our server was there when we needed him while providing us with appropriate space and privacy. We spent about $350 that night and will be going back for our special occasions.

Went there on Thursday with reservations made, so no wait. There were some parking spots on Darlington avenue next to it, so it’s good. The pizza and pasta were good as well as seafood and beef. The best items are the desserts, esp the tiramisu and the different pies- they could mix them into one plate and charge a much lower price. The vibe is chilled and the staff are very friendly. A bit chilly to sit outside even in July but heater will be provided. A great option for date night or business dinner.

The service is very good. Food ok. Nothing unforgettable. Atmosphere is too loud. Its a big space. No outdoor sitting. So tables are very close and the noise is too much. Hard to here each other. Not too big place. Great for stopping by but there's better italian food not too far

I usually love Toscana but on 12/2 Had a disappointing dinner and service! I ordered one of my favorites their spinach / ravioli ;it was very salty! The waitress was very disinterested In serving 2 (older)women. My friend said her pasta was just so so! The pear salad was delicious as usual. Hope this was just an off night for the Restaurant!!

One of the most overpriced & noisy restaurant in the Brentwood area. Salty & oily food that certainly not worth it. Also, manager asked us to leave, right after we finished our dinner, because they had customers waiting to be seated. It certainly was my first experience having a restaurant manager asking us to leave just because they had customers waiting. Very rude and unprofessional 😡

Valet service: not helpful not friendly-my husband is disabled and had much difficulty getting out of the car onto slanted sidewalk and high curb-valet offered no suggestions to make it easier. The fee was $12 @lunchtime. Our food(seafood special )was excellent, however they only have wine and beer @lunch and were out of the lager I wanted. There was no other lager on menu, in fact very limited beer selection. The servers were friendly and helpful. We won’t return for lunch.

Very disappointed at the service we received in this restaurant. We were there with another couple as soon as we were done with dinner the manager approached us that he needs our table to set up for a larger party even though they still had empty tables. I had made reservation days in advance. Manager’s approach was very rude and unprofessional. Worst service we have ever experienced in Los Angeles.

The Food was average at best, but I'm not here to talk about the food. I was billed, and I left a decent tip, but I guess the waiter didn't like it, so he increased to whatever he wanted. Hoping that I wouldn't find out. I called the restaurant two days after I was there once I noticed what the waiter has done, and I spoke to the restaurant manager. He was very apologetic. I was sure it would be rectify promptly. It wasn't. I called in three times over three weeks period. Every time he said that someone it going to call me from the "back office". After more than a month, I went to my credit card company to solve it, because clearly, they aren't capable to solve it themselves. I hope this gets to the restaurant owner. Keep an eye on your bill!

The male host was dismissive and only offered bar seating when half of their dining room was open & their outdoor seating was completely empty. The bar seating on the left dining room isn’t even a proper bar-it’s a counter where they send out the orders. He saw me a person of color and thought ‘sure I’ll seat her at the service counter, that will be fine’ but it’s not. Then decided to seat a white man who came in after me first.

Three of us had dinner on 6/11 and were so disappointed with the food and outrageous prices. I ordered the halibut special. The waiter didn’t mention price & I didn’t ask assuming it would be reasonably costly but certainly not the $60 I saw after arriving home. I also ordered a ‘small’ green salad, emphasizing small - the water said he’d make one. A ‘large’ salad arrived with strange, not so green ingredients, carrots & tomatoes. The bill said antipasto for $23! Desserts were also outrageously priced, the very plain pasta as well. Service wasn’t great & no drinks in room we were seated in. The experience has been bothering me so decided to express it.
