Excelente, Estupendo Ambience & Cuisine at Pedro’s Los Gatos. While the outside building feels straight out of a Movie Set in the Sonoran Desert, the inside has been fully transformed into feeling that you’re in Tulum. Los of Alfresco seating outside too. We sat next to the open windows and she loved the Smoky Mezcal Margaritas. With a round of soft crunchy delightful fish tacos and smoked Adobe Peppers Salsas, it was a lovely Rendezvous for a Thank Goodness it’s Friday Happy Hour 🍹Thanks to the hostess Vanessa for her kind and attentive service

Pretty decent food for a Mexican restaurant. Beautiful atmosphere and great service. Food was good, not super excellent. But very tasty and decent size portions. Expected the food to be more authentic Mexican with a little bit more zing and spice. I would have to say a little on the bland side, but definitely worthwhile going and prices were reasonable. The ambience was great within the restaurant. Staff was friendly as well. I got the chicken enchilada, chicken, hard shell taco, and the beef tamale. The red salsa was absolutely the best thing that I enjoyed there. It was thick and chunky. I don’t like when the salsa is watered down. This was quite the opposite and very tasty.

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant for three main reasons: * The restaurant's spaciousness sets it apart from other smaller, often crowded establishments. It offers a peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy quality time with friends without raising your voices. * The service is outstanding. The servers are consistently polite and friendly. * The food is delicious, even though the menu may not include some traditional dishes like mocajete. However, they offer a wide variety of dishes. On my last visit, I couldn't find chimichanga on the menu, but I kindly asked our server if the chef could prepare it for me, and they did. I would recommend adding chimichanga back to the menu for other guests to enjoy. In summary, it's a delightful place to dine!

Are place to go to. Walking distance from our home. Great customer service from Marta. Mole enchilads were abundant and gaucomole was excellent. We got to try the clarified margarita, and it hits. 😋

Food was good and affordable. Although I did feel that we were put in a corner and had to beg for water...and it wasn't that busy. They place has been remodeled since my last visit. Very nicely done!

We really enjoyed the delicious food and service. Authentic tortilla made fresh. We had vegetarian fajita with market vegetables and the salad. The starters were also nice. We had chips and salsa. It was very cold outside and the temperature inside was warm and comfortable. Very nice ambiance near the window seats. Great quantity too.

We had a great early dinner at Pedro's. By the time we left it had filled up and on Wednesday. Vanessa looked after us and the service was excellent. We ordered a few dishes and nearly finished it all! The menu has plenty to choose from without overwhelming with choices. The fitout is amazing with booth's and standard dining tables. Very impressed all round 🇲🇽🌯🌮🐟

This is a great place to eat. Looking for a nice bar to drink at with good appetizers. Looking for a nice place for a date night 🌙 can't go wrong with this place. Great atmosphere perfectly sized meals at a decent prices. Its not to expensive. Looking for family night you picked the right spot. The margarita 🍹 are very delicious. If u ask me the best plate to order is the combo plate and get taste of what this place can offer. This place has been here for decades. Virtually a part of downtown Los Gatos . You might also might want to know the menu here is different than the one in Santa Clara after the year long remodel. So come here, relax and enjoy one of Los Gatos historic restaurants you'll be glad u did.

First time here and got to say it was so delicious 🤤 I got the chicken posole so yummy with delicious flavors the homey was so soft and chewy the best. My daughter the kids nachos and those also had some yummy delicious flavors to it we did take the beans off but it was still very delicious. My other baby got the kids chicken tacos with side rice and beans and the chicken was so soft with also delicious flavors. I got the tamarindo water ohhh myyy so refreshing. Lastly I got the 3 leches cake for dessert, my word that was the most delicious tres leches cake I’ve ever had. You guys need to come here and have you some dinner. Overall the best food here in Los Gatos and the best service ever definitely comming back.

I truly don’t understand how this place has any bad reviews - I had a phenomenal experience. That atmosphere and decor are absolutely stunning, the chips, salsa, and guacamole were delicious! I was very impressed with the flavors and quality. The combination plate was a great way for me to try multiple items, I loved the chile rellenos, tamale, and enchilada. But what I loved most was the service - the staff are great and Martha was absolutely WONDERFUL and one of the best servers I have ever had. So kind and helpful, attentive, and when I mentioned the chips were a little stale, she immediately offered to take it off my bill, which I didn’t want or expect, but was very sweet of her to do. She truly provided above and beyond service with the best attitude, smile, and positive energy. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip here.

Hands down some of the best contemporary Mexican food in the Bay Area if not California. Pedro’s wasn’t exactly a dining destination before they re-opened last year, but the new ownership and Chef has reinvented the place and the food is definitely worth driving out of the way for. You can taste the high-quality ingredients and the care in the cooking and presentation. Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Our First time Dining at Pedro’s Los Gatos location & the Experience was wonderful. The staff was very welcoming.. The decor was classy and so was the atmosphere. The Bar at the centre space looked fun serving Margaritas & awesome looking Cocktails . We had Delicious Chips n Salsa with Guac, sweet corn Tamales & Tostadas for Appetizers. Their Homemade habanero sauce is Fiery . Everything we ate including Mushroom tacos, Chili Rellenos, chicken Fajitas were fantastic. Both full of flavors and beautifully presented. Ohh THE TRES LECHES cake needs a special mention - it was juicy & bursting with Citrus flavors !!! I want to Thank Ralph & Vanessa for taking care of our Group with such warmth and making it a memorable Event !!

Wow! First time to Pedro’s and our party had a wonderful time. Amazing cocktails, delicious and unique food, and we loved the casually elegant atmosphere and decor. The staff were charming, friendly, kind and attentive. The ceviche was outstanding! Treat yourself to a stylish, tasty cocktail - our group sampled the variety of margaritas, and we couldn’t decide which we liked best! I enjoyed the avocado one best :) Highly recommend eating at Pedro’s - perfect for all occasions. Even families, special events, and romantic dates!

I went with a small group. I was able to reserve a table ahead of time. The place was nice. Large bar area. We had a booth in the corner. They had some entertainment for Day of the Dead, which is why we picked it. We had the special cocktail. They were accommodating to make a change in my cocktail, but we found all 3 of us had a slight variation to the cocktail. Which is not what we wanted. So not everyone was happy with the drinks. The food was excellent. We shared a salad with Carne Asada and the meat was tender and tasty. The others had the surf and turf taco and raved about how good they were. You have to pay for chips and salsa here, which was a little odd for a Mexican restaurant. All in all, we were happy and would go back and recommend it. The manager also stopped by and checked on us a couple times.

I was pleasantly surprised by this newly remodeled location. The decor, particularly the lighting design and fixtures, are gorgeous making this a phenomenal spot for a date, romantic gathering, or a pleasant time with someone you'd like to converse with over a meal. I found the food to be excellent, the Chef has reimagined Mexican cuisine in an appealing way. The presentation of the dishes certainly make a great first impression and the flavors do their job in delighting the palate. The cocktails are enticing, creative, and there is something for everyone. While I understand this restaurant is somewhat newly opened and still working on itself, I am happy to include it into my rotation as I have seen continuous improvement after visiting it on three separate occasions. I am particularly happy that with this restaurant's addition into the downtown Los Gatos food scene, there are now 3 main players for Mexican Cuisine (Zona Rosa, Andale, and now Pedro's). All 3 locations have very different options and positioning for those seeking Mexican food. One thing that I like about this location is that it is right across the street from the "Electrify America" charging stations in the Bank of America parking lot. This makes it an enticing proposition to grab a margarita, chips and guacamole while your car is charging. Or, Why not have a bowl of Pozole instead at the bar counter while watching your favorite team on the TVs? I also noticed that they have a great spot/stage(?) for potential live performances or presentations. Additionally, there is a phenomenally looking table in the back area of the restaurant away from it all that can provide a wonderful area for a corporate or family gathering. If there was one thing I would recommend the management to do, it would be to spend more focused time on training the serving staff with a consistent program so that the service matches the rest of the restaurant's positioning. This is where I see some inconsistency which can be addressed. You got your decor down, your ambiance is spectacular, your menu is looking and tasting great, now make sure you implement your signature service plan with your serving staff. I look forward to more visits. Make the service operations stand out for your guests.

Great tacos and signature dishes. Also good cocktails. Chips salsa was good too but I was not amazed with the guacamole. Recommending their signatures dishes. The other stuff that I tried was ok; not suggesting though.

We were there for a birthday celebration, 18 people in all. We were given our own room, with 2 tables for 10 people each. While the restaurant knew it was a "big" birthday, they did absolutely nothing to make it special. No party hat, no balloons, no signing "happy birthday", no chips & salsa on the table until we ordered, nothing. So that was disappointing. I also felt the service was sub-par, as we had to ask for water refills, and drinks too. The food was good, as were the margaritas.

Pedro’s in Los Gatos has a really gorgeous atmosphere—beautiful space, great lighting, and overall a really well-designed place to sit and enjoy a meal. The service was also spot on—friendly, attentive, and easygoing in the best way. I started with the zucchini “Caesar,” which I actually really loved. Super fresh, great balance, and a nice twist on the classic. For my main, I went with the chicken mole enchiladas, which I’d been really looking forward to—but they ended up falling flat for me. For $36, I expected a lot more depth of flavor and more sauce overall. The mole itself was kind of bland, which was disappointing considering it’s usually such a bold and complex dish. That said, my dining companion had a different enchilada and really enjoyed it, so maybe it was just a miss on my order. We also got the habanero salsa on the side, which had great heat and flavor—it definitely helped bring the dish to life a bit more for me. Overall, Pedro’s has a lot going for it in terms of vibe and service, and I’d come back to try something different. Just wouldn’t go for the mole again.

Restaurant has a very nice Mexican decor and vibe. Bar section is separate and rest of the restaurant has plenty of tables. Food was very delicious and flavorful. FYI, the portion are very large so 1 order will be plenty for 2 because they give chips to begin with and that fill your stomach🙂 plenty of parking spaces outside. Staff is very friendly. They do have few veg option in main course.

Food was good, but service is less than professional. Perhaps my friend and I should have dined at the bar. We were seated in a booth and it took at least 15-20 minutes for service. We were thirsty and we wanted some water, at least. The water was finally served and its lukewarm; no ice. And when you request something such as more chips or a refill of your drink, either the food server doesn't understand (English), or they simply don't care. It takes at least ten minutes for them to return. And if you sit in a booth and you have at least a size 11 shoe, you'll find it difficult to move your feet and legs around below the table. The table is supported by three large circular legs. You must move the table to get your legs and feet adjusted.

We are vegetarians and we didn't like the food and service here. Service was too slow and the food was average at best. Please don't order vegetarian tacos-fried cheese was awful. Corn ribs were nice garlic fries were nice though.

Had dinner at newly opened Pedro’s and frankly very underwhelming. Only think that was nice is the new decor…. Menu is very limited and food was not good at all. I had the chile divorciado which is pork in a green sauce and beef in a red sauce no flavor what so ever. The Mexican rice was dry and flavorless as well. We also had the pulpo it was burnt. The ahi tuna tostadas were flavorless as well. My husband had the fish tacos no flavor no salt what so ever it didn’t have any type of sauce just cabbage. For dessert we had the churros and they were doughy didn’t not taste like churros. We had the house margaritas and they were watered down couldn’t even taste alcohol. I’m sure many people will not appreciate the new menu.
