The Cheesecake Factory Lubbock Reviews
I could go on and on and on about my visit. Food.... AHHHmazing!! Service.... AHHHmazing!! ( thank you Kate) There was nothing that wasn't perfect for us. I'm not gonna lie it is a little pricy, BUT when it's this fantastic, it is worth every penny. Plus there was so much, we both got two meals out of it... WORTH IT!!! I truly don't understand how this has only 3 stars on yelp If I could I'd have given 10 stars. Thank you very much for a delicious and pleasant experience. 😋😋😋😋😋
The food is great. The cheesecakes. Yummy, my server was amazing.Just bearing plenty of money
The only 5 star restaurant based on the Dallas metro area compared to other restaurants in the boring city of Lubbock Texas I like there Bellagio pasta including there 5 star pepperoni pizza I’ve been to the one in Dallas including Miami at the Dadeland mall I’ll definitely be back
We waited about an hour which we expected due to it being new. Worth the wait if you ask me. I had the chicken lettuce wraps appetizer ( Mexican style with avacado, tomato and salsa). I got the white bean chicken chili and it was so very tasty. My daughter enjoyed the pizza. My husband got the double bacon burger and really liked it. Overall great food, nice staff and nice atmosphere. We will be back for sure.
Our lunch selections were really really good, can't wait to visit Lubbock again. The only thing better was the service. Our server suggested the menu items we ordered, and she was spot on! Very attentive as well and took care of us the whole time we were there. A++++!
Our first time visiting this restaurant we ate inside. It took forever to get seated and to get our food. But it's because it's a brand new location and it's JAM PACKED! So yes your food may be late. Our tables were sticky like they weren't cleaned well, but we overlooked it because the food was delicious. If you don't want to deal with the crowds I suggest ordering from doordash. We ordered doordash the second time and everything was perfect! From the food to the cheesecake, and it was quicker! Remember you have alot of people from outside of Lubbock visiting this Cheescake Factory.
First time there and blown away by all the menu choices! All our food was delicious and the warm bread served immediately with our drinks was fantastic.
I got the smokehouse burger and my friend got the 4 cheese pasta. It WAS amazing. From our starter eggrolls and salad to our entre. (We had no room for desert). Defintley a great atmosphere to dine with family and friends. Thank you to Jerry our fabulous waitress/bartendar and the manager Aydin for giving outstanding food and service!!
I just need to give my server some praise. We told him that it was my little sister's birthday, and when we ordered cheesecake, he put candles in it, and was just so fun. Cheesecake factory is pricy, but I would still definitely recommend. The burgers are great, and you can never go wrong with a good oreo cheesecake. Great for celbration
The crispy chicken costoletta was amazing! Compliments to the chef. Our waitress, Kylie took very good care of us. Great experience overall.
Had a very nice lunch today with my wife she has been waiting to come since they broke ground! Food was better then expected!! Very tasty!! Server (Matthew M) was good and relatively fast on everything with them being busy. Wife loved her dessert!!! She is already talking about coming again. Good job guys
My experience at this place was incredible! I don’t even live in Lubbock and we were just there to visit. The waiter they assign you are so nice, everything on the menu is great, and you should KNOW about the cheesecakes. The cheesecakes have all different flavors and new creative options to choose from. That’s why I give this place a 5 stars
Dined in at The Cheesecake Factory for the first time tonight & had an incredible experience! Our server Juan, was attentive, friendly, and all over amazing! He was very busy but stayed on top of everything. My friend and I just went for a few snacks and noticed they had mock tails which we were so pleased about as we are both on a sober journey! So we had the Pineapple Cherry Limeade, Tropical Ginger Cooler, & Passion Mint Fizz all of which were AMAZING. For appetizers we had Pot Stickers & Pretzel Bites with Cheddar Cheese Fondue. Both 10/10 incredible! Then for our cheesecakes we got the Coconut Cream, Pineapple Upside Down, & Reese’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake. Everything was so good, I can’t believe it took me so long to try it, and I will definitely be back!!! Thank you Juan for the amazing service!
Everything was amazing!!!🤩 best place to eat especially when celebrating a birthday. Idk 🤷♀️ why you’re getting bad reviews everything was perfect. Sadly😅 I accidentally deleted my pictures but that’s okay 👌 I plan to go back to your restaurant again in the future 👍👍. 10/10 recommend.
Lacie, our server, was fantastic! The food was excellent. They have lots of Gluten-free options. Our favorites are the Thai noodles and the corn cakes. The Godiva cheesecake is amazing!!
This place is AMAZING. We had never been to a Cheesecake Factory before, we soooo wish they had a branch in Amarillo. The selections in the 20+ page menu were a little overwhelming, such a wide choice in this one restaurant. Just WOW. You guys are awesome, if you were in Amarillo I have a feeling I wouldn’t be visiting other restaurants any where near as often as I do now.
My mother and I came out for dinner, and as always it was a delightful experience. We had Kay as our waitress and she was impeccable, despite being a low maintenance table; she was still very attentive and my water never went below half.
The service was superb and the food mouth watering. So excited for this addition in Lubbock. The servings were very large and plentiful. The menu is quite extensive and will make it hard to decide. We arrived to find a line before the doors opened on a Monday so be prepared for a wait. It is well worth it!
Went on a Sunday afternoon, no wait, quickly seated. Several friendly hostesses greeted us and we were seated right away. Our server was a lady named Kansas. She was friendly and efficient. We ordered the Sheppards Pie and Monte Cristo sandwich. Both had huge portions and were served hot. Everything was delicious, and we had to take some home because the serving sizes were so big. Kansas made sure our drinks stayed full, and helped us order four pieces of cheesecake to go. The decor was pretty with lots of interesting details to look at. Overall, a good experience. We will be back when we have a special event like a birthday or anniversary.
Great food and great service. We had a server named Kat (Katherine) and she was very helpful. Also the manger came up and asked how everything was, and my mom didnt like something the stuffed mushrooms, and they actually switched it for her, the calamari and took the last plate of food off the bill. Such a lovely atmosphere aswell!!
Great time and great bartender! The food was amazing. Steak Diane and chicken m was amazing. We started with the mushrooms. Don’t get! Go with the avocado rolls. The mushrooms are small and cold. Such a disappointment, but other than that it was amazing. We took dessert Togo and they didn’t disappoint either! Great time!
I love this place! The food is always so good, and the staff is so kind and very helpful! Waiters are very quick, and make sure you're checked on frequently. The feeling of the atmosphere is being in a fancy clean restaurant! This is honestly the best place to get spaghetti and meatballs! I have not yet found anywhere in Lubbock that has decent spaghetti and meatballs until I ate here!
The food was great like always, & the service was even better. We had Phoenix as our server. He was very sweet. Not only did he get everything out in a timely manner, but he also got our order just right! He made our time very enjoyable. We will definitely be going back!!
We had dinner here on 4/21 and ate in the patio seating outside. The weather was perfect and the atmosphere and service complemented the great food and drinks for an overall wonderful experience. The honey bourbon was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms and shrimp appetizers were fantastic. And our entrees, the white chicken chili and the Tuscan chicken, were absolutely phenomenal. Only wish we had room for dessert! We agreed that we would come back just for dessert at another time. Their cheesecakes looked amazing, so we’re going to have to try them next time!
My family of 4 were quickly given a table, we ordered our drinks and they came fast. The Captain and coke my husband ordered was very good. The soda fountain was very good. Our appetizers were the chicken potstickers, and avocado egg rolls. My daughter and I shared the Louisiana chicken pasta with extra sauce. My husband had the Jamaican jerk chicken and shrimp. My youngest had the kids pizza. We loved every single dish. We ordered an ice cream for my youngest and had to help her finish it bc they hooked her up! We had the salted caramel cheesecake to go and it was still so good the next day! Our waitress also was very nice and helpful, she packed our leftovers. I’m glad we picked great options for our dinner.
We had such a great meal here. It was my first time coming here and we loved it. I got the Korean chicken and was amazing. My husband got the pepperoni pizza with hot honey and omg was so good. The cheesecake was out of this world. The upside down pineapple cheese cake was amazing. Great place to dine with great service and a nice clean place to dine.
Great five star rating dinner tonight! Service by Kayla was good, too. Okay here we go... Wife had the Jamaican Spice Shrimp. Her comment was yes I would order it again. Of course I had to have a taste, it was good. I've been having a hankering for some Shepherd Pie, low and behold there it was on the menu. All I can say is that it did not satisfy me, because now I want more. But more was not in the cards tonight, I was saving room for, wait for it...cheesecake! Duh it's the cheesecake factory. The advertise flavor tonight was the peach with raspberry drizzle. Mmmmmmmmmm. P.S. Food was great, but it's always about the cheesecake. P.P.S. Why did I mention our server tonight? She went the extra mile. I asked for a coffee, "do you mind waiting for a few minutes while I'll brew u a new pot". That's the extra mile! Bon Appetit
DELICIOUS!! The appetizers and entrees were absolutely scrumptious! I took my family here for the first time (since I am an Italian New Yorker and they are small town born and raised) and it did not disappoint! Our waitress Lacy B was the best, she was a whole vibe and professional! She went above and beyond for my 7yr old son, and made everyone’s evening memorable! Thank you so much!

After 2 weeks of traveling and eating meals meant for giants, I was pleased to discover the lunch menu!. It was still big but not an impossible task to finish. cheesecake to go please!

We have never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory. I was given a gift card for a gift. So, we decided to have date night and go. We decided to go on a Sunday evening and we went early. We were seated immediately. We had a waiter at our table very quickly and he took our drink order. We were shocked at the number of pages in the menu. I decided on the shrimp and chicken gumbo. She settled on the crispy chicken costoletta. We also had an appetizer of fried zucchini sticks. We did not eat all the appetizer and the waiter asked if he could box them up. So we let him. Our entrees came out and they were large portions. We decided right away to take half of the plates home. We couldn’t pass up cheesecake since that is what they were know for. The slices were also very large and we took half of each home as well. The food was good. It wasn’t out of this world and amazing, it was just good. We only ordered water to drink as we don’t drink soft drinks. When we got the ticket it was kind of a shock too. One appetizer, 2 entrees and 2 slices of cheesecake and a good tip was nearly $100. You can get same food we had at other places and for much cheaper. We will go for the cheesecake but we won’t eat there again. It’s simply too expensive.
Staff's were super duper nice and welcoming! This pasta dish I got was sooooooooooo freaking phenomenal. I ate the whole dish lol. I also got the upside pineapple cake! It didn't taste like pineapple till you reach the end on the crust, that's when the flavor started caving in. Overall, it's a yummy place.
The food looks beautiful, this post and pics are all from doordash visits. I will visit soon to dine, however I will never give a five star to any restaurant where I have not personally sampled the food, even though the looks of these dishes are absolutely beautiful, until I sample 4 stars us the best I can offer.
We prefer a little quieter atmosphere. My husband can't handle the louder music and combination of loud conversations and kitchen noise. Other than that excellent. Most restraints are this way these days.
The only thing bad I can say about it is they're a bit pricey. The food was delicious and the portions were actually big enough for two meals so when you consider that the prices aren't too bad I guess. We didn't have drinks so the bill came to be about $45 for the two of us. We didn't go for the more expensive options either. The atmosphere is really nice. I wasn't expecting a place called the cheesecake factory to look as fancy as it did. Overall I would try it again but it wouldn't be my first choice.
We've vegetarians and they have decent options for us, which is why we like to go but Their salads are bang on and they have spectacular lettuce wraps with avocado.. drinks and desserts are top notch! But their pastas are a little disappointing when it comes to the flavor and creaminess of the sauces. They have delectable shortbreads and the appetizing brown bread (the complimentary one). It's a good visit every time, if you stop by for desserts, they're one of a kind!
First things first, the wait. Equal parts not as bad as you think it’s gonna be and also everything you expect. My daughter and I waited for about 1.5 hours outside of the restaurant all told and the place remained packed the whole time we were there with a good amount of patrons waiting outside. This is Lubbock, Texas and the Factory is new and shiny. Be prepared to wait. Luckily we were just a party of two so once inside we were seated in a much-too-cramped booth almost immediately. This place is clean and the decor/atmosphere is gorgeous. I expect nothing less from such a chain. The whole ambiance is really upscale and actually kind of romantic if seated in the right spots of the restaurant. Tables were bussed and sprayed down immediately after guests left and floors were kept swept and free of debris. If not for how cramped/small our table was, this section would have got an A+ in my book. Instead they lose a half a star. Service, however, was exceptional. Our waitress was Molly and she was incredibly attentive, accurate and friendly. She’d brought out the (delicious) bread and when I asked about the butter she apologized saying they were out and that it was likely on the truck currently being unloaded. I told her it was okay but the next time she came to the table to refill drinks she’d brought butter saying “found some!” We were never left wanting for anything and the service was just all-around pleasant. We weren’t visited by a member of the management staff but I don’t always consider that a bad thing. Something that was a bad thing? The food. This is where they lost that other half a star. The food in and of itself wasn’t bad. My Margarita pizza was quite delicious and even came close in flavor and in texture to the pies of the same name that I’d eaten in Italy. And my daughter nearly inhaled her pasta, which for a kids meal was an incredibly generous portion. It’s just that the food was cold. Maybe “cold” is being a tad facetious but it was room temp which tells me it was waiting in the window for some time before it was brought out to us. Never an excuse for that in my book. The pizza was also, for me, a little to heavy on the sauce. Not a knock against the chefs or the restaurant, just a personal preference of mine and worthy of note if you don’t care for a pizza that’s heavy on sauce. The star of the show, the cheesecake, was absolutely delicious however and nearly makes up for any discrepancies experienced with the food. This is the CHEESECAKE factory, not the PIZZA factory and on that front it does not disappoint. They are delectable, silky, rich and delicious and really are second to none. Just bear in mind that there’s a reason they don’t put the prices of the cheesecake slices on the cheesecake menu. All told this was a very pleasant visit and we will be coming back. I’ll be telling friends and family to plan a visit as well because it was worth the wait. They just need to work on their kitchen management and ticket times so that hot food makes it to the customers and they’ll get five stars from me all day every day!
We had to wait an hour for a party of ten. Which wasn't that bad considering the Sunday brunch just ended. The service wasn't as good as expected but they did have patience. Must have been a new location. We still loved the food and they did comply with the complex orders. So, no complaints.
Very elegant and clean restaurant. The mojitos were great and the food and deserts were delicious. We had the Thai coconut-lime chicken, crispy pineapple chicken and shrimp, shrimp scampi and steak diane and, steak diane and herb crusted salmon. The cheesecake were strawberry, Godiva and the red velvet. The only disappointment was the coffee, I ordered a doble espresso and it was like an americano. Also the bathroom were to small. That’s why I gave them 4 stars.
We were celebrating our son's 10th bday at this place and we had a great time. Fernando was our server and he did a wonderful job. He kept checking on us, asking if we needed anything. He had a nice attitude! The food was alright, the only complaint would be that my son's mac and cheese was watery and tasteless but his cheeseburger was spot-on. our plates were good. We loved the mojitos and of course dessert was amazing!
Food was great - as always! I had the chicken parm (pizza style) and it was excellent. We were there late in the evening and there were a bunch of tables that hadn't been cleared after the customers left them. We picked a high top table because it was clean. Waiter was helping us and taking care of the bar at the same time. In the beginning he was very attentive. By the time we were ready to pay, we were stalling, waiting for him to come back. I had a hard time deciding which cheesecake to try, so I think he decreased his number of visits.
This is a perfectly fine restaurant for a good meal at a good price. My only criticisms, and this is really pushing it, is that they are clearly set up to serve as many customers as possible, it's a shame the tables are just a little tighter packed than I'd like to see, but the service is always great so I'm really being nit picky. I'm also just naturally skeptical of a menu that is so large, but in all honesty, I've never had something I didn't enjoy. Hit em up as they're sure to have something you'll enjoy.
The food was good, and the service was friendly. This is the closest Cheesecake Factory to Amarillo, so it's worth the drive. The old Fashioned was decent. I really enjoyed the Korean chicken. It was a lot of food! The leftovers were still good later. The potstickers were also good. Not too crispy or soft, just the right amount. The calamari was also excellent. We enjoyed the smorgasbord!
First the positives. The food was very good. Had the Jamaican shrimp. Expected spicy but definitely wasn’t. Still was very good. Our waiter was attentive enough but not to the point of being annoying. My negative points are the portions seemed a little small, in some cases very small.(ate with a party of nine). Finally the bench seat I sat in was extremely uncomfortable and painful on my back. Overall a decent experience but not something i personally would be rushing back for. Edit: I was personally satisfied with my portion and several others in my party. In particular the dish my wife ordered seemed a little lacking in the main course as did one of my sister in laws. As for the seating there wasn’t a realistic alternative for moving just for me with a party our size.
I really enjoyed Cheesecake Factory this round. Its been years since Ive attempted to come eat here. I had the Chicken Carbonara and I truly enjoyed it. I could do without the peas. We had the best service and the atmosphere is great. We purchased 7 cheesecakes to go to bring back home.
Our server Madison was great! It was our first time to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. We ordered a sweet tea, margarita, old fashioned, hot spinach & cheese dip, 2 Jamaican pepper shrimp entrees, Godiva chocolate cheesecake, and very cherry Ghirardelli chocolate cheesecake. Everything was good but the cheesecake was definitely the highlight of our meal!!

The Service stank our waitress was a busybody never asked, if pricey is one and wanted a refill and waitress was too busy waiting on other customers that were getting there vs the customer she already had. After requesting a ticket it took her 15min to get it to us.... very disappointing which was our first time going there.
We had Kylie, and she wasn’t the brightest crayon in the box. It was upsetting to see how she didn’t really want to interact with us. She acted like she didn’t really care to be at work. She didn’t really check up on us much throughout our meal. I ordered the smash burger and I was not impressed at all. The sauce was the only thing good about that burger. It has no veggies with it; only pickle. Kylie almost forgot the onions I asked for. My daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo for kids and there wasn’t much Alfredo sauce. My husband order the chicken Parmesan sandwich and he really liked it. Not too much sauce, perfect amount of sauce and flavors. When we got to where we ordered our cheesecakes, she never asked if we enjoyed them and if they were good. I got the snickers and didn’t like it. I wished she would have asked because I wanted to order another, instead I went up to the cheesecake counter and ordered myself a separate slice to go. My husband enjoyed the lemon meringue pie and loved it! Kylie never asked if we wanted refills to go and we are from Amarillo so it would have been nice to have some for the road. Someone else had helped my husband with the refills. Once we paid, it was like she wanted us to get out of there. She definitely didn’t get an 18% tip. I have been a waitress and your energy towards your customers means the world. It’s frustration when you make your customers feel like a burden. I’m very disappointed because this was my family’s first time to come and this was the experience we got. I cam earlier this month and we had an amazing experience. Just very disappointing.
No matter how much food they give you it’s definitely not worth the price. All entrees at least $25 each. One tiny slice of cheese cake is the same price as an entire meal somewhere else.
The chicken strips were not good. No flavor and tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The zucchini tasted the same but at least had flavor. My coworkers said their food was good. Large portions! I don't think any of us was able to finish our food. Our waitress was very sweet but slow and forgetful. If I ever eat here again I'd probably try the orange chicken or salmon.
This is a nice place to bring a group of people who all have different tastes. You can find a little of everything here! My personal go-to is the Chicken Costaleta; the creamy lemon sauce pairs well with the lightly breaded chicken breast and Asparagus. The Chicken potstickers are my preferred appetizer, just be aware the potstickers only come with 5 so I wouldn't recommend this app. for a large group. (Unless you order multiple). This is like a "Jack of all trades, master of none," scenario. Nothing is SUPERB but it's all "okay," when it comes to the apps. and Entrees; the cheesecake is always great!
It was okay. They didn't have the ingredients to make the cocktail I wanted. Service was excellent, waitress above and beyond. Food was okay. To me overpriced for what it was.
My family and extended family have been coming to Lubbock’s Cheesecake Factory for years. We live about an hour and a half away. The last few times we have been we were very disappointed. They have been slow to seat us when tables were open or sat dirty for over a half an hour. The waitress has been very slow to take our drink orders. The tea has been hot. Appetizers come with incorrect items. Waitress cannot be found, is slow to take our food orders, and disappears again when our food is delivered. Servers have also been annoyed with us that we had limited table space. Yesterday the male bathroom had hundreds of paper towels all over the floor and the sinks were overflowing with water. I let a staff member know and they shrugged it off. Our daughter’s children’s size alfredo had zero sauce on it. Our bill came and 18% gratuity was automatically added and the price was double what it was last month. The food was good as always but the services is slipping bad. Arrived at 1430, departed at 1620. Not busy at all, maybe our waitress had a second job? As we were leaving both managers show up and say thank you for coming.
The Cheesecake Factory was loud and crowded. Despite this, we were seated quickly and without any delay. However, we were a very small party and I think there would be a wait if there were more than maybe 6 in your group. My girlfriend and I ordered an appetizer to split and two slices of cheesecake. The total ended up being $35. While the cheesecakes were large and tasted great, the center of mine was still frozen when I got it. Our appetizer was $15, but we were essentially served three large mozzarella sticks with tomato sauce. I think the Cheesecake Factory could be a cute date spot for couples, but there were so many families and such a rush to eat and pay that some of the possible enjoyment was lost.
Great Atmosphere, our waitress was really Kool. Ordered the Thai shrimp I believe, could have definitely used a little more spice but very good. Steak fie main entered with the fancy name was a bit of a let down, could have been a lot better. Sides were just ok, kinda average on flavor. Wife got a chicken type pasta dish, sane thing kind of unerwhelming. Drinks were great though, big ticket💲💲, average flavor. I couldn't say I Reccomend. Maybe great for a special date night. For me it just needed more flavor overall and at that really high price I wouldn't return for sub par food.
Good ambiance. Nice servers. Very slow service. The food was good, when it finally got to our table. We've traveled with a group now twice here, on a week day, and they've been extremely slow. Whil…
The cheddar cheese burger was tasty but not what was originally ordered. I was wanting the macaroni cheese burger but was only informed after a long wait that I needed to alter my order. Moreover, while waiting we requested more bread but was only informed after awhile that it would take more time. Was not impressed with the service and the lack of preparation.
Waited years to go to cheesecake factory as there are none where I live. I gotta says it was a huge disappointment. The ONE thing I wanted.. they were out of..out.. on a Saturday afternoon?? Then we both get mojitos.. regular and coconut. Pretty sure the limes were rancid. Them comes dinner... order was for Louisiana pasta.. but they gave us gumbo. Then tried to give me a kids spaghetti, I stopped her. Mind you we waited 30 mins before we got a table but I counted at least 8 empty before we were sat. We went to look at cheesecake and and then to the restroom while the waitress got dessert to go. We come out and the manager is clearing our table and asking if we skipped.. The waitress is stopping him. Now let's talk about the waitress.. SHE WAS AMAZING!! Great personality and very attentive. My daughter was almost in tears. I asked for a discount.. he took off the rancid drinks. **WHEN we got home I had the totally WRONG cheesecake
I’ve tried to like this place but they always disappoint. So, no more chances from me. The service is always terrible and they run out of food options every visit. Cheesecake is great. Food is ok. Service, ambiance and cleanliness are terrible.
Went for a birthday got told to make reservations. So we did only time they had availability was 8 for 6 people. We get there at 8 pm, they don’t have our table ready so we have to wait. We waited for almost an hour for our table to be ready. So why make a reservation, if we won’t get sat at that time? Make it make sense!! I was very frustrated because we simple could have walked in before 8 waited and got a table like a normal restaurant but told we HAD to make a reservation. Constantly had people called before us, got sat at 9pm when our reservation was at 8!! Waited 30 mins to get our food and the food was mid.
Went there on Valentine's Day for a good take out meal and was disappointed. Tried the new southern chicken bowl and was not satisfied with service, presentation of food and food quality. Was given over cooked hard biscuits that was so hard we didn't want to try to attempt to eat. We thought this would be a decent place to share a Valentine's meal and that wasn't the case. This is my first and last experience going to cheesecake factory, total let down..
Our service was great. The spinach dip and bread were classic. The Steak Frites I was served was nothing but fat and good incorrectly twice. I’m so glad I spent $30 on a steak for my dog….on my wedding anniversary. Even more, the mac and cheese was bland. Utterly disappointed and the fact the manager didn’t catch a steak of that poor quality in their line check makes me question where the quality checks actually begin and end.

Absolutely not worth $27 for shrimp scampi (dried pasta and the sauce is just straight up garlic) and $10 + drink cost for kids meal and a drink.. pretty sure kids drinks are supposed to be include…
The food is small in portions, average in taste, and super expensive. On top of that, when we paid our bill a few days later, the amount changed. Why? The waiter added extra tips. We spoke to the manager, and of course, she was super rude and completely incomprehensible. I will never return!
My family and I went in today for a birthday, the birthday person ordered the Steak Frits plate I believe it was!! We’ll let me say, we paid $29.95 for a 6 oz steak and a plate full of fries!! The fries is what over crowded the plate, it was ridiculous!! So very disappointing, plus it took forever to get seated and get our order taken! When we finally did, another 20 minutes before we got drinks, then I had to ask our waitress why we didn’t get any complimentary bread like everyone else!! This place is sooooo overpriced and overrated, you can buy the same shit for $15 at the grocery store and make it yourself!! Never again, and we eat out a lot!! Many, many places in Lubbock that are so damn good, this place is not!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love coming to the Cheesecake Factory but this location wasn't great. I had the shrimp scampi and it was super bland. It just tasted like plain noodles and bland shrimp. I've had this meal before and it's normally super flavorful. My friend pasta was also super watery. Meal was not comped and we paid full price. I highly doubt I'll come back to this location. I will say the presentation was nice.
Order the steak medallions and this is what I got the second time after already speaking to the manager. The first time the steak came out, it was not medallions. It was tiny pieces of steak that were charred and way overcooked. I’ve never sent my food back to the kitchen before. The dish wasn’t what I ordered and the meat wasn’t edible. So the manager comes over and asks, “so you didn’t like your food?” I asked if he saw the meat and saw my dish. He said yes and asked what was wrong.. I told him it wasn’t medallions and that it was small pieces of steak that were charred and overcooked. He said he thinks it’s just how the meat was prepped that day and asked if I wanted it remade. I said yes. Then got what you see in the picture. I paid $25 for a meal that twice came out of the kitchen as charred meat and STILL not medallions. We also ordered the Korean fried chicken to go. We checked that meal before we left to make sure the meat was cooked properly. Looking at it, it looked fine. Once we got home, and our daughter bit into the food, it was almost all breading. Well over half of her fried chicken didn’t have any chicken in it. She threw it away before we got a picture. But this is absurd. We spent over $40 in food and barely got anything worth even eating!
We ordered a piece of cheesecake curbside. We never got a text saying it was ready. Then we call and they took forever to answer and it also took forever for them to bring it out. Then we call curbside sign says 10 min wait. It was longer than 10 mins! No apology or anything. On a different note we’ve ordered a piece of cheesecake through favor. We waited a hour and then favor canceled our order. I placed that order in plenty of time. I will never order from them again. Service sucks. After Covid most of these restaurants don’t care.
The food was horrible the presentation on the plate was sloppy. I got the everlast pasta and it was full of grease and butter. I couldn’t eat it. Then I returned it and got chicken Alfredo and it was blend and the pasta was not cooked all the way. It took an hour for are food to come out and it was not busy at all. We can at 1:00 and we were getting frustrated on the wait for our food. I will never come here again.
Food sent out incorrectly without toppings or ingredients. Menus items unavailable and last but not least……..cheesecake flavors unavailable! I’ve asked multiple managers and ALWAYS get the same excuse. They order but don’t receive their items from the Cheesecake Factory warehouse. This location is very far from ALL of the supply locations so the company doesn’t care about keeping them stocked in product. I wish they would just close the restaurant if they don’t want to service it. The staff is great but the management is garbage! Lubbock deserves better!!!
Horribly disappointed with this establishment. We were looking foward to dining here since people say its a good place to go eat . Unfortunately we will never know seeing how we were seated and completely ignored or forgotten about. After reaching the 20min mark we decided to get up and leave. This is after watching the table next to us being serviced and acknowledged, but yet no one even came over to greet or take our drink order. We are patient people but this was a waste of our time and energy wondering why we weren't being acknowledged while everyone else around us was. 3 members of staff were clearly visible and looked our direction at other tables yet no one wanted to check on our table. Sadly this will always be our experience we will share when we reference to this place.
Wow what a disappointing experience at the Lubbock, Texas, location. I had never eaten at Cheesecake Factory so decided to take my daughter and mother for dinner. I had green chili chicken enchiladas. The enchiladas were tepid at best, the black beans were soured, like bad, like please check expiration date bad. My mother had a house salad full of wilted lettuce. Service was sub par. My mother told the server that she would want coffee later yet the server never picked up on that clue and brewed coffee so at dessert time, no coffee, it will take 8 minutes to brew. Really? Don't people usually have coffee with their cheesecake? The server never refilled our water glasses even though every water glass on the table was empty. I had to ask for more water. The trashcan in the bathroom was overflowing with used paper towels and they were scattered on the floor. When you charge so much for food, the guest expects certain things like excellent service, hot food, and clean restrooms. We did not get any of that tonight and it cost me $150. Needless to say, I won't ve back. Rain Cafe has much better food and service for about 1/3 price.
