This location is clean with really fun decor. The menu has just enough options. There's a sauce bar with at least a dozen different salsa flavors with the whole gamut of heat levels. The ceiling tiles have been decorated by patrons.

A++++ Always friendly staff. Taco Tuesday is always busy but staff works quickly. Prices are great and the hot sauce bar is a plus. Location always clean! Definitely recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Staff routinely comes by to offer refills on drinks etc. Well managed! I generally order hard or soft chicken tacos power light but the taco salad is fantastic. Churros are always a fantastic treat. Pro tip = use the Tijuana Flats app for ordering & rewards! Update: love the menu changes but miss the wings. Double stack tacos are great!

First time visiting this restaurant (I know). The decor is very nice, staff amazing, and the food great! You are warmly greeted by all and if you are visiting for the first or look lost, as I did, they will offer you menu. Lots of great selection to choose from. I recommend this place and location for the food and especially the service.

The staff here is always friendly and the food is great! When we get delivery or we dine-in the food is great. And the Hot Sauce Bar is 🔥 Taco Tuesday/Burrito Thursday: Tacos/Burritos with chips and a drink for $6.

I have tried 2 other Tijuana Flats locations besides this one on North Dale Mabry in Lutz Fl. The Lutz restaurant is by far the Best all around! Especially the Food! Staff is Great as well! Hands up my favorite on the go food place!

And she was running the whole front of the restaurant by herself! I’m not sure who was working on the back, but they also get major props. Our food came out so quickly that it surprised me.

The service here is always impeccable. I came in for lunch yesterday with my two kids and my grandfather. We were greeted with a warm smile. The cashier took very good care of us and ensured my kids were set up for lunch. Very kind like usual and great food. Thank you!

visited 09/05/25 , tijuana flats has been a staple in my pregnancy journey. we frequent here lately. they went above and beyond to make sure i got what i wanted. small things make a big difference. the food is always made amazingly, never have been disappointed! thank you guys!

I am only giving a three star review so that the general manager or owner of this establishment can see this. I placed my order online and the receipt said it would be ready at 7:06 and it wasn’t brought to me until 7:36. I know for sure this IS NOT the cooks or the staffs fault at all, it’s definitely the online ordering system. You guys need to do better for your staff. They work extremely hard and don’t deserve to be swamped because an online ordering system can’t properly filter incoming orders. Thank you again to the cooks and staff for managing this situation!!

They were outmatched by Cinco de Mayo and the pandemic. In way over their heads. Tons of online orders and no system for delivering them to customers. People standing by their cars with hands on hips. Lots of people inside the restaurant (during COVID). Door Dash orders sitting around and people looking at the receipts in hopes of seeing their name. I got my food 45 minutes late and it was good, but the situation was worsening when I left. You've got a good thing going here in your restaurant and the demand - just get somebody to figure out the logistics in terms of safety, efficiency, accuracy and speed. Until then, only allow your online ordering system to take a certain # of orders per 30 minute increment. Gracias.

I was really disappointed with the Hot Honey Chicken soft tacos at Tijuana Flats. I paid extra to try the new hot honey chicken, expecting something flavorful and well-portioned, but there was hardly any chicken on my tacos at all. Most of what I got was cheese and lettuce. I had to actually search for pieces of chicken in the taco. Or was also COLD…not even a bit warm. The hot honey chicken might be good — if you actually get any in your taco. For paying extra, the portion was unacceptable. This ended up being one of the worst meals I’ve had in a long time. Definitely not worth the upcharge. UPDATE: Thought we would try taco Tuesday again this week. Tried the beef taco. WHERE’S THE BEEF?! There was hardly any beef in the taco. Is this Tijuana Flats under new management? They used to have great tacos, but after two weeks in a row of mostly lettuce and cheese, we won’t be coming back to this place.

I have never in my life written a one star review I normally let things slide but this was honestly so odd from top to bottom. 1st order my food takes a while backed up kitchen I get it some teenagers come clearly friends with the cashiers and cooks magically their food comes out before mine ok sure annoying but whatever (side not the random teenager went in the back why are non employees around other peoples food?). Two my sister orders a burrito filled with rice she requested mexican it’s white more importantly it’s RAW the crazy part is the cashier acted almost as if this was a repeat issue why are you serving people raw food. Another safety hazard the back is absolutely drenched in water almost flooded and stayed that way for over 10 minutes. the real cherry on top and reason I wrote this review is the server had the audacity to complain that my mother left without taking corrected food in front of her (which wasn’t even the correct order) when the cashier told her my mother was right in front of her she didn’t even bother to apologize and went to the back. Tijuana flats can usually be relied on for quick decent tasting food but this location doesn’t seem to have a single competent person in the establishment.

Me and my family just ordered 4 separate meals from this Tijuana flats. Two dos tacos meals and 2 burritos. They all really could have been vegetarian for the lack of meat they put in each meal, we made another order to chipotle shortly after. Do not recommend this location.
