All restaurants are struggling these days and anyone that cannot recognize that should not go out to a restaurant. That being said, this was our first time going inside to eat since restrictions have been lifted and we are allowed to dine inside again. Our experience was awesome! Our server was very friendly and genuinely was doing her best! The food was great and tasted super fresh. The chips and salsa were amazing. Thank you so much for being open and having great customer service skills with great food. Stay strong and keep on!

My husband and I have been eating here for over three (3) decades! Absolutely love it!! They have the best steak fajitas with bacon that I have ever tasted! MaMa always makes sure we are happy with the food,the service, and that we are absolutely satisfied. Our kids and now our grandkids love to eat at Burrito King! Mama and the girls are like family when we come in.

Which grosses me out so I end up tossing the burrito. So I wanted to try Burrito King's burrito & I will be back cuz I absolutely loved their burrito. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and quick. Excellent service! Had a super burrito and carnitas taco, both very tasty. Only downside is they have Pepsi products. They will bring you bottled coke but it's not the same as a fountain drink.

Food was delicious, with decent prices. Waiters were very friendly. Nothing fancy but a fun place.

Everything was fire an the little grandma i loved her she was so welcoming so was our server.

We came here as a final wish from my grandmother who just recently passed away. This was her favorite restaurant to come and eat at. The food that was served to us was good and the servers were very friendly and accommodating. The only complaint I had was the sodas that were served to us in pitchers were a lot on the flat side. It was almost like drinking straight sugar water. Other then that, it was an overall good experience given the circumstances. The restaurant has a dining area and also a bar area.

Very nice and clean on the inside. The staff were friendly and extremely attentive throughout our meal. My husband ordered a King Burrito, and he enjoyed it! It was large and looked amazing. I ordered the 2 item combo plate: a flauta and a chile relleno. The flauta was on the smaller side, but not greasy at all. My chile relleno didn't have any cheese inside, just on top; not the best I've had before. For the overall price and the pleasant atmosphere we will come back next time we're in the area 😊

Only reason I rated it a 4 is because the coffee was a bit weak. Other than that, service was great. Boss lady was on everything. She was an amazing hostess. Food tasted awesome. Great options. Any time of day, apparently. My lady loved the margaritas. My beers were very cold and plentiful. If you want a nice time out while not breaking the bank, Burrito King is a wonderful place. If they improve the coffee in one of my future visits i will definitely change it to 5+ stars. Thank You Ladies for a great experience. My lady and I enjoyed it.

Great location in the center of town and a nice looking restaurant, but the food is just average. It doesn't taste like authentic Mexican food. I've had several dishes here and my least favorite is the fajitas. There's not really anything I would come back for but its a nice place for group get-togethers or going to hang out with friends.

Waited on by Cassie, our waitress. She made our experience enjoyable and pleasant. Despite the fact that the cook prepared the meal and insisted that order was correct when in fact, it was not. Cassie made it a point for us to receive the correct order. Cook could be heard arguing and disagreeing with our waitress. Burrito King is fortunate to have Cassie as an outstanding representation of this restaurant.

Orders all wrong. I wanted to give them the benefit but they weren't busy. It seemed they wrote everything down. Food was great when we avetually got it but the timing was so off the group of 4 didn't get to enjoy it together becusae none got it at the same time.

Good food bad service. Took over 10 minutes to take a drink order. Lady that came was nice but seemed extremely stressed. The other lady just seemed to hate the world. Food wasn't half bad but based on service alone, probably won't be coming back.

The staff is very friendly, the food is decent but not exceptional as far as Mexican food in Madera goes. There is an attached full bar for those that want a beer or cocktail with thier food. It's one of those places I probably wouldn't seek out but I also wouldn't avoid and would probably recommend to someone that I wasn't quite sure if they "knew" Mexican food.

The food was ok but the margaritas were good. Even the virgin one for my grandson birthday was awesome. I think we had a new girl for waitress she didn't do anything for his birthday.

The food is great, the prices are good, but the service is horrendous. I've been a customer of Burrito King's for years, so this opinion isn't from a one time customer with a bad experience. You can almost guarantee that when you walk in and sit down at a table, you won't have your food for about 30-45 minutes. It's not that they don't have the staff, they do, it's just no one takes leadership there. So, if you have the time check this place out! It's a great deal for your money.

Have eaten here twice. Once for a catered party and once for dinner. The food was not good, bland, no flavor. The only good thing on my plate was the salad. Left most of my food and ate somewhere else. Only good thing is the drinks at the bar after work. just Make sure you ask for top shelf. House liquor is some other cheap brand I don't recognize. Bar area turns into a mini club with DJ on the weekend. Pretty ghetto.

The people were super nice and accommodating. The food was not tasty. It lacked flavor. We bough3 burritos. I asked for pico de Gallo and they only added big chuncks of tomatoes. 1 was a slice of tomato, not even chopped up. They were all wobbly not wrapped correctly. The salsa was like a pace salsa no flavor or spice. They didn't even add cheese to any of the burritos. Great Srvice but terrible food.

It was our first time trying this place. The food was awful. All 3 adults ordered burritos and was very disappointing. No flavor, temperature was cold, not visually appetizing. Probably worst burrito I've had. We ordered 3 kids entrees which the kids did not want to eat. The "mac & cheese" was literally boiled macaroni noodles with shredded cheese on top, fries needed to be cooked longer & seasoned, nuggets were bad as well. Service took a long time to bring drinks, take our order & refills took even longer. Serving time took a while as well. Sometimes it helps if cooks taste what they serve. Just a suggestion. I know w/ restaurants opening back up it is an adjustment but it's been a while since I had this kind of experience. To top it off as we were leaving a male employee wearing his apron still used the urinal & walked out w/out washing his hands. Altogether a bad experience. I really hope they improve.

Ordered an all meat burrito thinking hence the name its gonna be good...boy was i wrong...meat was bland and hard, got more tortilla than meat..also got the shrimp cocktail, sorry but it was nasty..the shrimp were obviously not fresh. The ladies in there were very sweet, but food was wack.

No No i hope it does not say "Authentic Mexican Food" outside. Definitely not authentic at all. As a Mexican myself I can tell the rice wasn't made same day and it was microwaved with the beans. the beans was dry on the edges so I'm assuming it was Over microwaved. The food had no flavor as if they forgot how us Mexicans love to use seasoning. Sorry but they are 2 steps below Taco Bell! oh and the enchiladas were very disappointing. I was embarrassed bringing my parents this microwaved savorless item. They could probably give Taco Bell some pointers on how to quickly make enchiladas: Heat up corn tortilla, throw chicken inside, roll it, throw sauce with cheese and Microwave! 🙄🥴

The new waitress with the fake voice just annoyed the hell out of us. The food is not real Mexican food. Do yourself a favor go to taco bell their food is more authentic Mexican food than this

The food is so disrespectful. $80 for menudo that tastes like water, plain burritos when we specifically asked for everything in the burrito, and a shrimp kids meal that looks like they’re rationing for a apocalypse or something. This place doesn’t even deserve a star at all. The waitress was nice and all but these cooks are 0/10. I cried eating this. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone . Waste of money.

The food is disgusting, it’s also made incorrectly. My mother-in-laws burrito had pork instead of beef. The guacamole was thin with no flavor. The Chile verde sauce tasted like diced green Chili’s from the can. It was my first and last time ever eating here. The waitress was slow to take & bring our order and extremely slow to bring the bill. I highly recommend driving to Chowchilla and eating at Mario’s Mexican Restaurant.

This was my Aunite’s favorite place but it isn’t ours! The food is disgusting though the margaritas are good! After spending thousands of dollars on food and bar for her Celebration of Life, they treated us less than human! I guess you have to be Hispanic to get good service!
