The Vineyard Madera Reviews
friendly staff, nice atmosphere. ribeye steak was great, cooked as requested and served timely. very nice local restaurant.
The ambiance is beautiful, the food is a Michelin 5 star and service is spot on. Have been coming here on and off for over 15 years, always great food. The wedge cut salad with house made ranch is THE best I've had...and I eat out a lot. I also cook great Italian food myself, so I'm very picky. The chicken Carbonara was mouth watering delicious. They have truly have amazing Cooks there. They also make there own bread which is wonderful as well.
On my way to Pine mountain club and had been on the road a few hours. We were looking for a decent place to eat when I saw the Vineyard. We were so impressed by the meal. It was Friday and rather busy but we were seated quickly and food was fantastic. Cocktails were on spot. After a couple days I realized the lasagna was one of the best I've had. Truly a great place to dine.
House filet with veggies and mash potatoes. No regrets. Amazing flavor the pomegranate red wine was absolutely delicious addition to the steak. The broccoli can't believe im raving about broccoli but omg was it great. Only thing was that it was hard to get water to the table. A table of 12 people had all the attention. So service wasn't so great. I recommend the house filet. Was worth it. The bread and the delicious olive dip came late to our table. Ordered a Pepsi that was never delivered. So yea service was not so great that Friday night. But food was worth it.
Such a nice restaurant in Madera! Food was excellent and the cocktails were good tasting. The bread that they serve with the dip is literally the BEST bread I have ever ate. It was fresh and tasted homemade. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and seems very well taken care of.
I always enjoy coming here. I even got married here last year in October. I used the banquet and outside space for my ceremony and reception. The space was very accommodating, food is always good, and service is always great. I highly recommend considering using the space for your next event/wedding. You won't regret!
Liked everything about the meal. The service was excellent, the atmosphere laid back for being upscale and the food was top notch. I had the lasagna and it was stuffed with meat and cheese. My party had the steak and another the meatball pasta dish and they loved both.
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 5/5 – A Central Valley Gem! If you ever find yourself in Madera, do yourself a favor and stop by The Vineyard Restaurant & Bar. The food here is made with quality, mostly local ingredients — and you can taste the difference. I tried the lamb shank and WOW… fall-off-the-bone tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Easily one of the best I’ve had. Meat lovers: don’t skip this dish. The restaurant has cozy, welcoming vibes and the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s the kind of place that feels both homey and elevated at the same time. ✅ Fresh, flavorful dishes ✅ Locally sourced ingredients ✅ Great service and atmosphere ✅ Worth the stop — and the return trip 10/10 — would absolutely go back.
First time trying this famous local gem! We got the sampler platter, clam chowder, shrimp scampi, and Rigatoni a la Norma (eggplant)! We loved everything! Very elegant atmosphere with live musician. We loved our knowledgeable and accommodating server. We plan on requesting him in the near future if possible. We had a wonderful evening!
I recently had a 50th anniversary party in the Banquet Room, and I was very happy with how it all turned out. I reserved my date several months in advance and from several states away, never having been to the restaurant before. But the information online combined with other guest reviews really helped. The restaurant was very responsive to my inquiries and messages. Everything was clear and well communicated regarding the requirements for reserving the Banquet Room. The room itself is cozy with beautiful vaulted ceilings and tasteful art on the walls. It can accommodate 40 seated for dinner, which is close quarters but not uncomfortable. We were all close family and friends, so we didn't mind being close. The restaurant provided table linens and all plates, glasses, and silverware. They allowed us to come in a couple hours early to do some additional decorating, which we really appreciated! We chose the family-style Italian dinner, and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, and they were ready with more plates of food if we were even close to finishing one up. The bar drinks were very well made and good quality. The staff was attentive and accommodating and ready to help with anything. They were friendly and patient with our group. I really can't praise them enough. They even allowed us to play our own dinner music and some dancing music, provided we didn't disrupt the other guests, which we really appreciated! Over all, I would highly recommend The Vineyard for your next event. (The outdoor group event space looks lovely as well, though probably better suited for cooler weather months!)
Great food and service. Stumbled across this restaurant during travel. Highly recommend.
Solo traveler getting dinner. Nice stop. Food was fresh and well seasoned. Had the salmon featured item. It was cooked perfectly and accompanied the white bean salad nicely. Also indulged in the creme brulee, very tasty! The mixed drink was a little light on the pour, but had nice flavor overall. Wait staff was very attentive and did a great job.
Very nice place to eat, quite and well lighted. Service was quick and friendly. Will go back again
The restaurant is very nice. Food is good. I had their pot roast beef special and it was delicious. My husband had the lasagna and it was just average. We also tried their grill shrimp special and that really good too. I'd just suggest that the waiter stop by once or twice to make sure everything is going good and that we have enough water on the table. Aside from that I'd recommend you try it.
This was our first visit here. We chose it based on reviews. It's a nice higher end restaurant with vineyard decor. There was live music, which was a bonus. Our server was on top of things and very attentive. Now for the food. We both ordered New York steaks. Both were a little on the dry side and a little disappointing. For a higher end restaurant, we thought there would be baked potatoes, but they had smashed potatoes instead. The side salads were quite tasty, and the 1000 island dressing had to be their own recipe. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding. In a word......Yum!
I ordered a wedge salad with a sirloin steak on the side. Wish the wedge was a little bigger but over all dressing was good blue cheese was amazing The server was a sweet heart she attended us with respect and attentive to our table.
Sorry, but this place is not consistent and needs some upgrades...some days food is great but our last visit was subpar and disappointed with quality of food. My glass was dirty, the bread was cold and dry. The lamb shank was very small; mostly bone as well as bland. If I'm going to pay $$$ for this type of food, I'm sticking to The Lime Lite.
