Excelente servicio, los platos son muy ricos y el precio es genial ! Buenas porciones y muy sabroso. Recomiendo la ensalada de Salmón y la entraña, estaba muy bien hecha además de una muy buena salsa. La torta de queso es una de las mejores que he probado!

El sitio es muy bonito. Calidad precio muy buena. Y platos en cantidad, no te quedas con hambre… desde luego! Mención especial a Felipe, nuestro camarero, que pese a ser un grupo grande y con alergias varias, nos ha atendido con paciencia y de maravilla. Muchísimas gracias !!! ☺️

Creo que ya puse reseña hace años pero quiero volver a escribir, para decir que sigue siendo uno de mis restaurantes favoritos de la zona. Creo que la gente realmente no lo conoce. Menú del día súper completo, casero y buen precio. Además el viernes con ampliación de carta en el menú del día. El servicio y el ambiente es muy bueno, siempre que voy me siento súper agusto! Sus postres están de muerte 🥰

I went to Babel restaurant with a friend last night. Great experience from the beginning to the end. Delicious Salmorejo, the best in Madrid! The “Tomate Rosa” really yummy. A massive portion good enough for 2 people. But unexpectedly the Tiramisu arrived as a colophon of the night. Really delicious, soft with a very nice presentation. Yummy!! I would also like to mention the staff. They are very kind, friendly, approachable and professional. Definitely we will get back to Babel as soon as we can 😻

The atmosphere is really nice and quiet. I tried some tapas: the Croquetas de jamón ibérico, the alcachofa and the pan bao. There were delicious. I went tree times and as main course I chose raw meat and fish. The tataki of tuna, the beef steak tartare and the salmon tartare. That was wonderful and tasty. They have great spanish red wines and beers. I appreciated particularly the staff which were kind and friendly. I enjoyed so much. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm traveling to Madrid.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when the ones we had selected nearby were all booked. We were a little reluctant as it was not busy. However we we rewarded with an amazing experience. We had three courses each for dinner and wine for two. Every dish was cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients. One of the best meals I have had in Madrid. (This was our seventh visit to Madrid)

The menú del día was fantastic. A choice of starters and main dishes, drink (wine, beer, soft drink, water) and dessert for €12.50. Excellent food, attentive servers and comfortable atmosphere. A place like this deserves our support. A tasty rice dish with pork loin, then sea bass with potatoes and carrot cake. All very delicious. My friend had the chocolate cake - which he's still thinking about even a day later.

El Babel de Chueca es un local chulo, decorado bonito. El personal es muy agradable y ofrecen “Menú del día” a 15€ La cocina esta requetebién por el precio que se paga y la variedad de platos del menú es amplia.

Comida en familia. Muy bien atendida por todos los camareros, siempre atentos a la mesa. Los niños tienen donde elegir y la comida les ha encantado: espaguetis a la boloñesa y crujientes de pollo, de 10. Los papás disfrutan del salmón y la entraña de ternera con muy buen sabor de boca. Muy recomendable.

Hoy hemos estado por Madrid y por recomendación nos hemos ido a este restaurante a comer mi madre mi hijo y yo. Un punto negativo por eso no le pongo 5 estrellas ni es un restaurante para niños que no comen casi nada no tiene menú infantil pero para los adultos el menú como veis en la fotos estaba súper bien muy rico y las cantidades perfectas lo recomiendo si no van con hijos el local muy bonito los platos te los sirve en muy rápido no tienes esas esperas eternas de un plato a otro

Very enjoyable dinner. The paella, cod were superb. Fried artichoke was a bit oily but very tasty. Ravioli was also very tasty but a bit dense.

I liked the fried chicken and tuna with avocado ( Half ration). The staff were attentive, nice. My bf ordered beef entrecot and it was alright. For the dessert, we had apple pie. The portion was big , I liked the puree but not the puff. Overall, it was a good experience.

Very busy at lunchtime. I guess that the good value for money of their lunch special attracts office workers of the area. We were there today with our two daughters and had 3 lunch specials. They didn’t oppose to the children sharing which isn’t always the case in restaurants around Madrid. Service was fast which I guess is also highly valued among those who need to return to their workplace after lunch. Food was correct but not great but I’m not complaining. You get what you pay for and the lunch special is 11,50 eur and includes 2 courses, a drink and dessert/coffee. The reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because my food wasn’t hot and I hate lukewarm food. Also we ordered 2 steaks well done and they served both medium. Other than that the atmosphere and the place is nice and I would recommend it.

Qué extraño un lugar con tan buena atención y comida tan mediocre. Puede haber sido mala suerte, pero ni el arroz estaba razonablemente bien hecho, ni los tacos de carne merecían la pena por un menú del día subido de precio. Las raciones tenían buen tamaño, eso sí. El lugar es agradable y la atención bastante buena, mejorando la cocina sería un buen sitio.

Soy asidua a este restaurante que me encandiló cuando lo conocí. Una pena porque ha cambiado el servicio a los comensales. El sábado pasado 7 personas comimos y pedimos un chupito al finalizar. Nos dijeron que no porque comimos menú. Menú de 30 euros no 10. Muy cutre. Pero lo mas sorprendente es que siempre que he ido nos lo han ofrecido y jamás hemos comido a la carta. Siempre menú. Un mal gesto. Me pensaré volver.

We ordered the "menu del dia" and my fish was raw but they were very nice and apologized and the coffee i ordered after was on the house coz of what happened...the replacement food i got wasn't that good. Kinda hard and a bit cold. Not sure if their a la carte is better than their set menu for lunch.

Ingredients was cooked to perfection and that is about it. Perfectly mesium rare beef and nicely grilled vegies. Taste wise average, as in flavour of dishes were not there.
