During the power outage, this was the only place open around the zone. Providing food and drinks: Jamón ibérico and curated Cheese sliced in front of everyone. Ensalada rusa - perfectly even without energy, the beers were cold. The food is amazing, the service is incredible and the place replicates the true self of the hispanic-Parliant culture: if we have no lights we will create it. Astonishing place. This is a must in Spain, specially in Madrid, is astonishing the way how they operate, they are so fast, so attendance, so incredibly that you will always want to me back. Everyone from Spain who provide 4 stars : shame on you, this place is not even a 5 stars I will rate it as a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6* for all you, come to me, one by one: I will show you a family friendly place, where kids can standby, where pets are allowed, were the Wi-Fi is even available from the store manger though all possibilities utcomes (Apple or android, if you have blackberry or elder: go to sleep) This place is amazing. 5 stars are not enough, for real. This place is a 6 Star, whoever does not agreed with, come to me; ask me.

A restaurant with a very pleasant terrace on General Ricardos, where you can book. They have awnings and fans, so you're fairly sheltered whether it's very hot or cold. It's right next to the Prado de San Isidro. During the week, they have a daily menu with a wide variety for €12.50. I ordered salmorejo, which was very good, and for the main course, Andalusian-style calamari. We also tried the pesto pasta and cheese flan for dessert. Good value. And the waiter was very friendly and prompt.

Vivimos por la zona y lo conocemos hace tiempo. Habíamos ido muchas veces a tapear, tomar unas cervezas y unos vinos pero nunca a comer. Justo el otro día se presentó una ocasión especial y cenamos allí 5 personas. Trato inmejorable, como siempre, y recomendaciones todas acertadas. Pedimos el menú que tienen de chuletón + entrante + 2 bebidas (x2) y quedamos encantados. El tiramisú increíble. Volveremos seguro!

Bar típico de toda la vida de Madrid, yo estaba de paso, vi el menú y entre. Menú bueno, rico y barato. La atención de 10. Y buen precio 14€ un menú. No tome muchas fotos, porque del hambre que tenía, en cuanto llegaban los platos, devoraba como una hambrienta.

Muy amables los camareros, comida rica. Sin embargo el que parecía el encargado o jefe tuvo un detalle feo, habíamos pagado y nos apagó los calentadores para que nos fuéramos, en toda nuestra cara 😒😒😒 Gracias caballero, muy amable.

Está bastante bien. El precio normal: 5€ las tostas y 2,50€ la doble de cerveza. Tienen una terraza amplia y agradable que no da a plena calle y no se oyen los coches. Los baños son ridículos hasta para gente que no es discapacitada. Aceptan tarjeta de crédito.

Buena experiencia. Restaurante-Bar muy agradable, tiene una zona de terraza bastante amplia y mesas con bastante espacio entre sí. Tiene una parte exterior, unas mesas en una terraza cerrada y un local interior, este muy pequeño. Respecto a la atención del personal, un 10. Rápidos, muy atentos y amables. La comida muy buena, de buena calidad y variedad en el menú semanal (12€) En mi opinión, para los más comilones, los segundos platos un tanto escasos. En general sacia bastante. Los postres muy buenos también. Medidas Covid, cuentan con gel de manos, buena distancia de separación lateral, buena limpieza en mesas y sillas. Repetiría seguro!

We'd been to other bars in that square, but it was our first time at Hidalgo, and we liked it. We went to try the tapa of the Carabanchel route: in this case, it was a skewer of grilled pork ribs with green peppers and potatoes. Simple, but effective; very tasty. The beers were very, very cold, some of the best I've seen in recent memory. We wanted to order something to eat, but it's true we arrived a little late and the kitchen was already closed; we'll have to go another day to try some dishes from their extensive menu with some eye-catching options. They have a large covered terrace and also a dining room in the square. Great place, we enjoyed ourselves.

We were there during the Carabanchel Tapas Route, and their signature tapa was an Iberian secret skewer. They served us very quickly despite the constant crowd. We also took the opportunity to order some grilled ears, which were delicious. They have two large terraces, so the wait is quick if you go without a reservation.

EN: This place is really nice, the food is amazing, I came here multiple nights over two trips to the city. The quality of the food is amazing and the atmosphere is very local, nothing pretentious or ridiculous going on. They have both paper and digital menus. I never had to wait for a table and I love how you can put the last order in extremely late as well. Where they lose points is the service, one of the waitresses with her hair dyed red from the Dominican Republic tried to say she couldn't understand my Spanish when the entire country understood me, she just didnt like being asked a lot of questions. It's funny to hear her criticizing my Spanish when Dominicans are known for using slang and butchering the language anyway. ES: Un lugar muy guey, comida rica, platos clasicos y simples, se puede comer hasta tardisimo, los meseros son mas o menos. Si puedes no te vayas con la Dominicana con pelo roja, es una payasa.

Home-style set menu for €15. They don't have an indoor dining area, but they replace it with a couple of really cool and cozy tents in winter. However, even though I liked everything, the best thing is the staff. Friendly, attentive, approachable, and always with a smile from ear to ear.
