We ordered about 5 different tapas and they were amazing!!! Usage of English was very minimal but the staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful throughout!!!! There were no baby chairs so they layered our daughter’s chair with extra cushions to “raise” her up. The restaurant is a bit small so it can be crowded but it is super worth coming for their tapas

Conveniently located between Museo Sorolla and Metro, this charming upscale relic has businessmen in suits dining con Jovenes in hoodies over well-executed Spanish fare. The 16 euro lunch special had three courses and included what may have been the tastiest wine had during my time in Spain.

Had a very nice tapas lunch here ,very near the Sorrolla Museum.We also ate in the restaurant a few days later in the evening ,we were lucky to get a table ,it I'd very popular with the locals .Food was very good as was the service, lovely night with s great atmosphere.

I honestly cannot fault this place, it's hard to chose from all the tapas restaurants around but we chose this one as it had good reviews and we just went for it. We are very big foodies (ny partner is a qualified chef and I work in hospitality myself) and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend the rolled pastry stuffed with cheese and leek with port. The port sauce is insane and we ordered a second round of the same dish and more port sauce! Also recommend the octopus with fried courgette 😋 We had over 10 dishes, 2 sangrias for 66 euro and they also gave us a free glass of Baileys after the meal. Lovely service and everything was super quick and the food was hot too which I love as I can't stand my food cold. Would definitely return great for the price and lovely restaurant

This was a great place to eat my first meal in Madrid. Food was delicious and came quick, staff were super friendly. They have a great variety of tapas, appetizers, main courses, wine, cocktails, etc. I tried a variety of tapas: the grilled octopus with zucchini and foie gras, had a delicious ham croqueta (croquette) and a txangurro (crab) toast with parmesan. I absolutely recommend this place to grab a bite and enjoy a drink!

This is our favourite restaurant in Madrid. Is not only that the menu offer is so great and so well prepared, but the staff makes a major difference in how friendly and forthcoming they are. My family and I really love to come here on Sunday for lunch, and every time we try something new or different, we never regret it. Highly recommended for ambiance, quality of menu, and friendliness of staff. Great job guys.

We ate at El Yate twice in the 3 days we were in Madrid. Both times, the food was great and so was the service. We enjoyed a Real Madrid vs Barcelona game with an enthusiastic crowd during our 2nd visit. The atmosphere was jovial and fun! We especially enjoyed the bacalao and the ensalada de perdíz. (Lighting wasn't good on the photo of the bacalao.)

Las fotos no le hacen justicia a lo buena que estaba la comida, pedimos dos cosas para picar y compartir y eran más grandes de lo que pensamos y estaban muy bien. Las setas empañadas son muy deliciosas. Los platos cuestan mínimo 10€ Los mozos hacen mucho ruido dentro así que mejor sentarse afuera, tienen terraza con aire acondicionado. Dentro el lugar tiene un punto acogedor con la decoración. La atención fue un poco bruta, insistiendo sobre lo que comer, pero eso a veces es un poco español. Se come bien, volvería.

Fui a tomar el menú del día especial (entiendo que por ser fin de semana) me costó 25€ e incluyó primero, segundo, bebida, cafe y pan. El precio me pareció un poco elevado para los platos que comí. El servicio por parte de los camareros fue muy bueno y rápido.

Restaurante especializado en tostas, tapas y raciones. Cuenta también con platos de pescado y carne. Suele estar bastante concurrido para tomarse unas cañas, vinos y copas. Cuenta con terraza y la sala tiene una decoración estilo marinero, paredes de madera, mesas de color blanco. La luz azul que ambienta el local es para salir corriendo. Cuenta con un descuento de una plataforma, que no incluyen ni tapas ni tostas. El camarero que nos atendió amable y atento. Trajeron aperitivo, patatas y aceitunas.La ración de pescado es más bien escasa, en otro plato el corte de pescado era malo y lleno de espinas. Los entrantes se salvan y del postre mejor no hablar, nunca he tomado un apple struddle peor presentado, las natillas daban un aspecto como para devolver el plato a cocina, la foto ya lo dice todo. Quizás como lugar de tapas y tostas como comida más más informal puede estar bueno pero como restaurante flojea. No lo recomiendo

Los camareros son súper agradables y nos atendieron súper rápido. Pero sinceramente no comimos nada bien, opinión general de toda la mesa. Me sabe mal decirlo ya que el trato fue muy agradable, pero pagamos entre 35-40€ por persona y la calidad de la comida no nos pareció acorde. Pedimos una ensalada de tomate con ventresca, y el tomate estaba totalmente insípido. La carne no me gustó mucho… quizás fue ese día, ya que el resto de opiniones no tienen problema con la comida.

Hacia tiempo que no comía tan mal.El sitio rancio,oscuro..vamos no han hecho una reforma en siglos.Hasta andaban las cucarachas por la pared de la misma época victoriana que el salón. Los crujientes de langostinos más secos que la mojama y los rollitos de lenguado para tapar que eran congelados e insipidos estaban sumergidos en una salsa de mantequilla. Por decir algo positivo,la actitud del camarero que se notaba que tenía ya espolones y sabía capear todos esos desastres.

Precios desorbitados tercio 6€ en una terraza de bareto. Sumado a esto, aplican un supuesto suplemento de cambio de turno por las tardes que no anuncian en ningún lado, y de hecho nos lo reconocieron. El propio camarero flipaba con los precios, no volveré.

Una Coca Cola 5 euros. Pague el glamour? No . Me la pusieron en vaso de Mahou Pague la limpieza del sitio? No. Estaba hecho una porquería.. No dejo de sorprenderme.

Precios astronómicos por un pincho de tortilla malísimo y una cocacola. Nunca más.

No vuelvo a ir. 7€ una tostada 0.0. Que pusieron como Maestra y 4.5€ un agua. Les he preguntado desde cuando una cerveza cuesta 7€ y dicen que han subido los precios. O bien me han mentido, o se piensan que son el Ritz. No recomiendo ir. Yo no lo haré.

Ambiente bien y servicio bien, pero precios abusivos y totalmente descompensados para Madrid. Cervezas a 6€ y cocacolas pequeñas a 5€. Una pena porque es un sitio emblemático pero los precios no tienen ningún sentido. A partir de las 5 de la tarde suben el precio un 20% sin avisar a toda la carta, y no avisan. Es una auténtica locura que no tiene ningún sentido.
