This place is great. Little gem on the side of 2978. If you haven't stopped in for breakfast then you're failing at life. Don't worry. There is still time.
Very enjoyable lunch! Lovely server, great food, atmosphere, background music just right to grab lunch with a friend or like I did with my best friend my husband 😀
I am on a limited diet so I ordered scrambled eggs and waffles. The texture and flavor of the eggs was excellent - perfectly cooked. The waffle was also excellent and well cooked with a little crunchiness as I like but, not over cooked. I do not like soft limp waffles. Coffee was excellent. 4 stars for atmosphere because it was very cold and uncomfortable inside.
Amazing / affordable American home style food. I got their cfs w/ mashed potatoes and corn. It was enough to span lunch for both myself and my husband for 2 days!! I was amazed, and very pleased because it is good, affordable, real food! I thought that was a thing of the past.
This has officially become our new go-to spot! Whether you’re craving breakfast or a classic Southern comfort meal, they’ve got you covered. The chicken fried steak, fried okra, and mashed potatoes are all amazing, and the classic cheeseburger is always a win. My husband is obsessed with the Huevos a la Mexicana—so good! It’s a tiny hidden gem tucked in the back of The Woodlands near Magnolia, and the service is truly incredible. There’s something for everyone here. Just a heads-up: they don’t serve lattes—only classic drip coffee—but honestly, it’s great. We’ve actually heard of someone leaving without even trying the food because they wanted a latte, which is a shame because the food is absolutely worth staying for. Highly recommend this spot!
Fried Green Tomatoes with a wonderful Corned Beef & Hash Eggs Benedict with Meat Quiche. We enjoyed a lovely brunch with excellent service and great food. I should have taken pictures 📸 you will have to go for yourself
We got takeout This evening and we’re pleasantly surprised! The burgers were wonderful and their fries are just amazing! What a gem! I hope everyone checks them out!
Recommended: YES! A really great diner for breakfast in Magnolia! The food was delicious, the prices were great and the staff was wonderful! Very nice, clean and quiet noise level place to enjoy a breakfast. We came here based on the other positive reviews for breakfast in the area. I was not disappointed. Although it was a bit busy, we were greeted and seated rather quickly. The menu offer quite a variety of meals, but, we were focused on the breakfast. We chose the Cowboy and the Riverside breakfasts. The Cowboy breakfast has choices of eggs, meat, potatoes and a bread. I opted for The scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, house potatoes and a biscuit. My guest selected the Riverside which consisted of eggs over easy, thick cut bacon and pancakes. The eggs were fresh and prepared well, the bacon had a wonderful texture and smoky sweetness to it. The pancakes were fluffy and tasted like they were from scratch as well as the biscuit, which almost had very good density. All of the foods and coffee were of generous portions and delicious! The cost of the meals with coffee and tax came out to about $15 per person. The staff was wonderful and attentive without being intrusive. The waitress' attitude was great and friendly. The overall cleanliness in the restaurant was enjoyable and the bathrooms are kept clean. The Waterfalls Café earns two big thumbs up and I plan to make this one of my regular go-to breakfast diners! Everything from the food, to the prices, to the staff made it for a very enjoyable experience!
I think the clean plate photo speaks for itself! Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly on a pretty busy Saturday morning. Has that quaint old school diner feel and southern home style cooking I was craving. This is definitely going to be somewhere we frequent now and I look forward to trying more menu options!
Went for breakfest, food was good. Price very affordable. Staff was really great. I would like to come vack for lunch because the burgers look great.
The atmosphere is not allowed to think about, standard American diner. The menu is not fancy but everything that came out of the kitchen was solid, and my server (who admittedly didn't have a lot else to do) was charming. This location is not super convenient for me so I don't come here often, but it is quite good if you're in the area.
We have been to waterfalls twice now since moving off 1488. I will say the best day we went was Saturday morning around 9:30. They weren’t crazy busy. We got two fireman specials and chocolate chip pancakes! Everything was delicious. I do wish the eggs and hashbrowns were seasoned a little more. The biscuits are sweet which I didn’t expect when we went for the first time two Sundays ago. DO NOT GO SUNDAYS. IT WAS PACKED. so so busy food and wait didn’t make it worth it in my opinion. Nothing was really hot. I got the biscuits and gravy that time and didn’t care for it. The biscuits being sweet made it weird. We also got the fried pickles which were like 8/10. Good ranch. We will def be back it’s extremely affordable in my option and better then the chain down 1488.
Definitely good place to get a traditional breakfast like bacon and eggs. Never have a problem with the food here and it's always pretty good but in my opinion very overpriced for bacon and eggs or really just about anything on the menu. It's like 10 bucks to get a side of bacon and a couple over easy eggs
Service was really good and the wait time was also amazing but the food was okay. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious but super expensive. The corn beef hash tasted good, but I didn't care for the texture. My mom, who ordered it, loved it, though. The chicken fried steak was not the best but was good when covered in gravy.
Giving 2 stars instead of 1 because the service was great and the cafe itself is cutely decorated but the food was NOT at all worth it. The dishes came out looking perfectly normal breakfast plates but the potatoes were absolutely terrible! I am nowhere near a picky eater and I had to spit out my first bite into a napkin. They tasted like they'd been either been cooked in too much oil or old oil..maybe a combination of both. I paid 10 dollars for 2 eggs and 2 slices of toast because I hate to send food back to the kitchen. My boyfriend's plate wasn't much better. His potatoes tasted just like mine so maybe they had a bad morning that day, but I probably won't be back.
