CHIPPY STAFF w/ Great Coffee! I think the staff at this Starbucks are a bit sensitive as they encounter a lot of older “Karen” types. I feel bad for them, however they should treat friendly customers a little better, I wasn’t totally happy with the service. I was literally standing behind my Dad in line (we were paying separately) and some lady (barista) told me to back up. Ummm… I was in the right spot, no need for ‘tude! That being said, the coffee was phenomenal and not watered down! I ordered a cold brew with oat-milk and I absolutely loved it. It’s low-calorie and my Starbucks go-to. The decor and structure was amazing, definitely an artistic and beautiful Starbucks. Both inside and out, it was trendy and very inviting. I enjoyed my coffee at the outside tables to enjoy the sounds of the beach and fresh morning air. My order was prepared fairly quickly.

Went into your Starbucks today for coffee and a snack I had just had foot surgery and was going back to Ventura, we have always stopped in here whenever going through town and the service and facilities have always been top notch!! I had to use the restroom and I don't know what happened today but I would never let my dog in there . There's pee on the floors toilet paper all over the floors and toilet wasn't flushed it was difficult trying to keep my foot off the floor because I was wrapped up in hospital wrap which I couldn't get wet but unfortunately it did. The staff that served us at the counter for our order were very helpful polite and courteous that's why I gave 3 stars

Today I had a “not so Starbucks like” experience in this branch of Starbucks. After ordering a filthy number of drinks and snacks when I asked the counter for an extra water cup, the guy on the counter made me wait for 10 mins. Even after asking for a couple of times he responded “we are hands full” and then when I replied “ how long I need to wait for a empty water cup”, he asked me to go to the counter where I had to place a fresh order. The story doesn’t end here - they made me wait for 5 more mins till I got it back. Is it racist? We were on way way from the beach and not dressed up properly? Is that the reason? Or the guy on the counter with flashing tattoo didn’t like my face 😀. If anyone else has that experience, feel free to share 🙏

Terrible service (Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 7pm), we were waiting for the team to take our order, and a young man walked in straight to the cashier, and the barista decided to take his order. We felt very disrespected and discriminated, given we are a POC group…

By far the worst Starbucks I've been to. With one order for two drinks in front of me it took 13 minutes to get a black tea lemonade. The 3 employees working seemed more interested in their conversation then helping the growing line of customers. The store was filthy with garbage piling up. One bathroom was "out of order" even though there was no sign. The other bathroom was covered with toilet paper and smelled like a portable toilet. Thank goodness this is not my local Starbucks.

Ordered on the app and it said my order would be ready at 7:11. Get there and the store is closed with a paper sign stating they open at 7:30. Meanwhile I try to call to cancel my order and the phone is disconnected saying “the subscriber is not in service” I don’t ever write reviews but now I’m going to be late to work or out $21 😤 I can see my order but the doors locked.

We had a bad experience with the older blonde lady with pushy attitude, and just overall mean and crude. Her makeup scared the kids omg! We just wanted coffee, but her vibe ruined the whole experience. If you read some of these reviews, you will find out we were not alone in this.

This morning around 9am November 15 2025 walked in Starbucks sat down to see what I was going to drink from cashier I hear a older woman in her 40 o 50 say are you going to buy anything because other wise you can’t be here. I felt discriminated and found myself very embarrassed that all the people in there look at me being only Hispanic sitting down and thrown out. If you ready reviews about this location I noticed there are horrible and this lady has done it before why has the location not taken any action. Would not visit this location again. Call Starbucks customer service number waiting on district manager to give me a call back so I can see if they put human beings that know how to treat other humans not by color or race or language.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude and Unnecessary Policy – Bad Experience Visited this Starbucks on February 17, 2025 10am, and had one of the worst customer service experiences. My wife and I were at the counter deciding what to order when she suddenly needed to use the restroom. The lady at the counter refused to give us the code, saying we had to order first. My wife was in discomfort while we were still trying to decide, but the counter lady showed no consideration at all. Out of frustration, I asked another employee who came from the kitchen side, and he immediately gave me the code without any issue. So clearly, the refusal wasn’t some strict company policy—it was just unnecessary attitude from the counter lady. I’ve never experienced this kind of nonsense at a Starbucks before. If this is how they treat customers, I won’t be coming back. Terrible service.
