Mule House Cafe Mammoth Lakes Area Reviews
Love this place! First time here and worth to eat after doing trails. Perfect setting in the woods. They open as early as 7 am for breakfast till 10 am and reopens for lunch at 12 noon Ice cream was creamy!! Not sure if its locally made but it taste so. The root beer float was perfect thirst quencher. The tuna melt was heavenly!! I can’t forget how tasty it was even though its a simple sandwich. The employees are kind. Kudos to the sweet lady who stirs up desert and taking orders at the same time. She delightfully served the food in our picnic table and was so accommodating. Located in stop 10 red meadows road which is accessible during summer season only

Very good vanilla and chocolate shakes
Good
I had the best veggie burger. Potato salad was so good, had to order one more. Service was great. Recommend to break your hunger here after the hike from rainbow falls. To go option is not available.
This place was at the end of a 4.5 mile hike from the devil's postpile to rainbow falls. After hiking back out we stopped for water and a burger for the kids. I had an ice cold 25oz Coors Light. Best damn beer I've ever had!
Fantastic stop if you’re thru-hiking. Get the hotcakes if you’re hungry—they are way bigger than the french toast.
No idea if the food here is objectively good but I'm still obsessed with their breakfast (esp the fluffy pancakes) weeks after stopping to eat on my JMT trip. I tried to make my own pancakes at home because I couldn't stop thinking about them! A bit pricey but they give you so much food, it was amazing!

They took 30 minutes to serve just a single scoop of ice cream. While I understand it was a very busy weekend, the orders could have been managed beyter

Took 2 hours to make the food and forgot the food for some people in the group. I understand it was a big group but how could they only have 1 cook like
Ordered a vanilla shake while waiting for the shuttle to arrive. They forgot to make it. And by the time they started making, 30 minutes later, I had to leave to catch my bus. Wasted $11!
