We come here every summer and the food has always been amazing. The fish and chips (both cod and haddock) are great. The staff is very welcoming and receptive. It is next to a Dia and the access is a bit difficult to the restaurant itself so the atmosphere may not be the best but overall it is a great place to eat!

We went in to Marlows on Friday night as a family of 4. We didn't know what to expect as a sit down restaurant. We were served by Adriana, the cod and chips medium and sausage in batter was amazing all of us had the same dishes we all felt the same . Adriana was superb she was so nice and helpful really made our visit very special . Thank you guys for an amazing meal.

Totally delicious. 16/04/22 A modern, well laid out, clean and spacious restaurant with balconies to back and side. We decided on a cheese garlic bread to munch whilst perusing the menu, but wish we hadn't later! Husband and I both went for the medium haddock with chips and mushy peas. I was greedy and had curry sauce too. Everything was cooked fresh and the portions were large. The mushy peas were perfect and the curry sauce was some of the best I've ever had from a chippy. Our server, Sarah is a delight and we took our drinks onto the balcony afterwards, to watch the sun set. Altogether, a lovely evening and we were stuffed! Will definitely recommend and come again next time we're in the area.

Exactement ce qu'on attend d'un restaurant fish and chips. J'ai pris un fish and chips médium, c'était copieux et vraiment très bon. La panure croustillante, le poisson fondant et une sauce savoureuse. Personnel très sympathique. Terrasse un peu bruyante (route) mais très agréable tous de même.

We planned a walk down to the village by the beach but was cold & windy so we took a detour. Just had their Sunday roast of leg of lamb. Didn’t know they served Sunday roast since we’ve only been here once. Presentation, textures & tastes were great! If there’s room to improve, I’d say the cheesy broco & cauliflower that I didn’t enjoy but that’s on me (never liked cheese on my veggies), the other veggies were yummy. Our server PJ was very pleasant as was the other server, thank you for the lovely services. We will be back.

2 adults 2 children, we had fabulous service and couldn't fault the food, was fresh tasty and great value for money. The service was lovely and she was super friendly and helpful. Will definatley return.

It was recommended to me to try Marlows, so glad I did. Excellent staff who serve the tastiest cheese burger by far. Add some bacon and BBQ sauce with chips and it's a fantastic meal and great value for money. Today they're launching their new menu with great offers including early bird between 5:30 & 7:30, three courses and a a drink included for €16.95. A warm welcome guaranteed from Rob and the team. Definitely worth trying.

Only been twice. Had the kebab wrap and chips the first time. Kebab was great, chips were pretty awful and very very greasy. Had to wait a very long time to be served as staff I believe serve restaurant customers as well as take away customers. However food is cooked fresh which is worth a wait. So giving them a second go I went back and had another meal. The chips were superb as was the other food. The wait again was very long and it wasn't that busy. So all in all if you can cut down on the wait times that would be great. I gave 4 stars due to waiting time and first chips been awful. I'll go again for another try. It is expensive I'm comparison but it's a proper British fish and chip shop in Spain. We'll eat in next time and see how it goes. In any case its worth a visit as it is good food.

Ok, I've read the reviews, the bad ones too...I've been several times, it's a fish and ship shop...not a Michelin star restaurant. I've always eaten in, the two girl servers were excellent friendly joyful servers ( Portuguese and Saharan) credit to the owners. Those behind the hot fryers in the baking heat are understandably less chatty but not unpleasant. Food was good, chip portions appeared small, but frankly I couldn't finish. I've had the southern fried chicken, the chicken pie, scampi and haddock. All we're fine, though I prefer baked pie more than microwaved. No pukka pies,lots of meat, beautifully gravy. So understand, every business has off days, you get treated how you treat. I wanted not to like, but I actually really enjoyed. The outside eating is a nice touch, again BRILLIANT servers inside.

This evening is my first time try fish and chips in Manilva....very good food,good service and i will be back!!

We've been to Marlow's a handful of times and the food never disappoints. Really nice atmosphere, great staff and the food arrived quick. Well priced and on par with other similar restaurants. Free parking outside the venue.

Fish des Chips, wie man es sich wünscht. Man kann natürlich die Fischsorte wählen, wir hatten Kabeljau (cod) und Schellfisch (haddock), zweimal die große Portion, beides sehr lecker. Mini coleslaw für 2,50€, Remoulade gibt's kostenlos dazu. Das Ambiente ist einfach draußen, drinnen ist es viel netter und man hört die große Straße nicht. Von Service her super, das war echt nett und wir kommen wieder.

Just bought dinner for 3 people. Selection seems to have shrunk after coming here for over 10 years. Absolutely dreadful food - the chips were cold and soggy, with the black eyes of the potatoes still in. . The fish was the thinnest I’ve ever seen. At least the batter was good. Will definitely try somewhere else next. It’s not worth the money! What a shame you can’t take criticism. I very rarely post reviews but I was disappointed with the food after coming to you for years so felt it necessary to comment, as is my right. It was a takeaway by the way. Hardly a keyboard warrior, just a disgruntled customer.

It's been a couple of years since last here and thought that it wasn't as good this time! In particular the batter on the fish was soft and chip portions reduced. In general the whole place looked tired and dated. On a positive note the staff are lovely.

Who doesn’t like fish and chips! Sounded like a good idea but very disappointed. Fries were soft not crisp, fish portion size looked great but it was not properly rested and the batter just slipped off due to all the oil. Very sad also needed more seasoning. Hope the consider to make some adjustments. Per their customers.

The premises is lovely, well kept and has a lovely feel to it. The waitress was prompt, friendly and efficient. However, the food. The batter was not the best and the chips we not great either sadly. Also, I didnt like hearing the lady behind the counter speaking to her colleague in a negative way about a young couple that had just left. She obviously presumed that we can't speak Spanish or didn't mind speaking about other clients. Would I rush back, no I would rush on by.

We had haddock, chips, mushy peas and cups of tea today. My fish was very good, the chips crisp and fresh, the peas good, and lots of tea. My wife's fish however was not good. It was grey, very wet, and did not have a good taste. Not off. Just a poor piece of fish. My wife left nearly all her food because the fish put her off. When the waitress came over, I made a specific point about my wife;s food - I pointed to the near uneaten food, explained that the fish had been very poor - grey, and wet, not good at all. The waitress said "sorry about that" and walked off...... I went to pay the bill the waitress serving us passed the check to the other lady. It was the full bill - no deductions, not am apology....... I think when you make it clear the fod is not good, you should expect to be offered either a replacement - we were not - or the food removed from the bill - it was not. We feel totally ripped off. Its a shame because one meal was actually OK. Judging by previous poor reviews I expect a sarcastic reply - but that simply makes the point even clearer - no pint complaining because there is no attempt to recover, merely badly judged comments. Happy to come back for a refund!!!!!

I visited again after a long absence. The owner has changed. The changes are noticeable. Prices have increased by 50% and portions are smaller. To Fish & Chips has been added.... Turkish kebab. I leave aside the fact that it looks strange, but this kebab is of the lowest quality. There is also supposed to be pizza after the holidays.... not recommended.

We have been coming to Marlows for more than 10 years and never really have any reason to complain. But last Sunday we were not at all satisfied. As always, I asked for half chips and half salad with my fish and chips but that was suddenly no longer possible according to the manager, although we later saw that people sitting outside who were acquaintances of the manager did get it. Then the food was brought: a really small piece of fish that was really dripping with fat and whose crust was coming off. Not properly cooked, in other words. The chips, by the way, were good. For a plastic bottle of water, we paid 1.95 while buying it costs less than 0.20, i.e. a margin of over 900% on drinks. At 15.50 we asked for the bill without desserts, because the music had already been turned off and they were cleaning up very emphatically, while they close at 16.00h. We will not come back here again.
