Good Luck Grill Manor Reviews
The catfish was cooked to perfection, the fries had good, flavorful seasoning. Itt was quite chilly inside, so we sat outside. Ordered chicken fried steak to go a day prior and that too had good flavor and was very tender and perfectly cooked, the mashed potato portion on the to go order was very small. It's best to dine in, I think. Will definitely be back.
I am from Louisiana, this is the only place I have been to that the fish and shrimp taste like back home. The service is always great. The atmosphere reminds me of the country restaurants back home too. It's the whole vibe for me. Update. Sometimes it can be greasy. Im noticing now that I'm eating better I need to start eating the grilled food.
Cannot not say enough about this place. Food is always amazing and staff are always great. We get the catfish and shrimp plate and the wife and I split it and we also get the large sampler appetizer!! If you are In the area and want some good food try it you will not go wrong. Also get the Jackpot pie if they have it totally amazing.
My wife and I went there today! We both ordered 1 mixed vegetables fried and 1 3pc catfish plate each. The vegetables were very delicious, fried pickles, zucchini, mushrooms, hushpuppies, and green tomatoes. The catfish with fries and slaw! Catfish was the best not to much and not to little breaded and crispy, fries were perfectly cooked and saw was delicious. Atmosphere was very good love the room addition they added. I highly recommend them for a night's out.
Moved to the Manor area and checked reviews for local restaurants. When you find any place with 4.5 or better, you give it a try as most restaurants hover around 4.2 or so. We've been happy with our meals. We always get take-out so we can't speak for dining in, but the food is always very good. Their fries are freaking delicious! Nice temperature hot, crunchy and not sad and soggy. I always have a Caesar salad with no protein and it's always cool, crisp and fresh. I didn't think the fried pickles were particularly good but I'm really picky about fried pickles. They need to be crisp and have really good dill tangy but that's just my opinion. My husband enjoyed them. He gets the catfish and thinks it's fantastic. We can recommend Good Luck Grill for good food.
This is a wonderfull place, great food, super nice people always ready to help. Recomende it 100%
Great little hole in the wall stop if you’re in the area. Huge portions, giant burgers, I’m a pretty healthy eater and the 2 shrimp and 2 catfish plate was perfect. 8oz chicken fried steak was more then enough with everything else. Folks there are super nice and it’s some of the best fried catfish I’ve had since growing up along the Mississippi River.
Thought the catfish was really tasty. The fried zucchini appetizer was a generous portion. Their area out back has lots of space for kids to run around, and parents enjoy pleasant weather.
My family and I were in the area and found Good Luck Grill. We were not disappointed one bit. The service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. The food was amazing! This is a gem to find and glad we did. Look forward to the next trip.
The food came in a short time because the restaurant was not busy. I had a catfish & coleslaw plate with a side of grilled zucchini. It was good. I'll come back again.
I go here on a regular basis! I dine in and out! For lunch and dinner. When friends come visit I take people here. The prices are reasonable. The food comes out hot, quality services and the taste of the different items are great! The burgers donot taste like fish or as if they are reusing the cooking oil. Their fish is delicious! It is not greasy and it is freshly cooked. Staff are friendly and service is quick. They have an outside area so the kids can run around. The music is awesome as well! They have 2 sites... in Manor and Taylor. Both sites are great... but it's something about the Manor site. Parking is great and handicap accessible!
Jessica always has a great staff and amazing food, it's a family favorite!
I always love the deluxe cheeseburger that comes with french fries. I recommend you dine in vs. take-out. It just hits different fresh and hot from the kitchen. And, you get free refills on fountain drinks. Great music, decor, and atmosphere. Spotless bathrooms. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. It's a pleasure to support this local business that gives back to the community. I'll definitely keep coming back!
Amazing place. Food is always great. My kids and I love coming here!
It’s a cozy, soul’s food place. We always stop by here when we are out in Manor. People are nice, their fry fish dishes are always my favorite; they have a big back yard with a small wood cabin for kids, also dinning in the back.
Best fried seafood I have ever had
I just want more people to know about this little hidden gem. They have great food, and the staff are always amazing! 💯 We introduce people to this place whenever the chance comes up! 😁
This is just a neat little country restaurant. I had fried fish and french fries. The fish was cooked to perfection, but the fries . . . The absolute best fries I have ever had. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. I could order a plate of nothing but fries here and I would be very happy with it. They have nice outside seating in the back and plenty of "backyard" for the kids to run around and play in.
Absolutely delicious. I had a Caesar salad with added bacon, Texas cheese steak, fries, and jackpot pie. Every component was perfect. Service and atmosphere were exceptional. I took my order to go, but will definitely be back with my family. We all work for a local mom and pop, so we really appreciate the vibe.
Food was so good we forgot to take pictures of everything and it was all devoured! 1. Very kid friendly place with a big yard. Great for family outings. With the nice weather it was very pleasant to sit outside without burning in the Texas heat. 2. Love my chicken fried steak with gravy!! My second time getting it. 3. My friends got the club sandwich and burgers. That is on our to eat list. 4. Tried the fried fish, hush puppies, and boneless wings before too very good would recommend. 5. Once we ordered to go the green tomatoes blt and it was very good. Try everything you won’t be disappointed. 6. Hospitality is great. The sweetest owners and workers. Oh and their chocolate chip cookies 🍪 yummy
I stumbled across Good Luck Grill out on the outskirts of Manor, and honestly, it felt like I was driving to the middle of nowhere. But let me tell you—totally worth the trip! As soon as I got there, I knew it was the right call. The food was spot-on, the atmosphere was laid-back and welcoming, and it had that hidden gem vibe you only find when you get off the beaten path. If you don’t mind the drive, you’ll be glad you made the journey. Definitely worth it!
We were heading back home to Houston from Austin and I was craving good southern diner food. This place came up and it was absolutely delicious. The seafood was so fresh. Their fried fish fillets were probably some of the best I’ve ever had seriously. Their shrimp was pretty good too. I also fell in love with their tartar sauce. Seriously,I’ll be coming back here, definitely glad we found it.
The food was great, especially the fried catfish and the chicken sandwich! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Will return.
Great food and options, people have always been great and the location is awesome. Always enjoy hanging out on their back patio. Nice big play area for kids in their backyard. Solid Manor go-to food place :)
Food is excellent, we have had the burger and chicken fried chicken & pecan pie, all worth the stop in. They are also very quick on to go orders.. We place an order when driving through, would be awesome if they would consider allowing pets outdoors since we travel with our little min-pen and they don't allow pets on porch but they are worth the stop in, you won't be disappointed in the meal!
This place ALWAYS delivers such an incredible experience. Their food is fresh and delicious, their service is top notch friendly, and it is very reasonably priced especially for the amount of food they serve you. The atmosphere in their dining area is great and they have a large patio with place for kids to run around in also. Today, I picked up food and I simply can't say enough about how great their food is. My go-tos are the Buffalo Chicken Salad and their Catfish Toes!!
I’m from the outskirts of Houston. I’ve been here a few days and noticed ppl aren’t very friendly buuuuuut this place was different. My sister and I chose Good Luck Grill bc we wanted some home cooking. From the moment we walked in the gentleman at the front counter was warm and inviting. He took our order with a smile and called our name when it was ready. I had a cheese burger my sister had chicken fried steak. She ordered a side of okra and got onion rings instead. They looked so good we asked if we could have them and the okra and we’d pay the difference. With a smile he slid them over to me. Everything was hot and fresh we could taste the love poured into their food and customer service was phenomenal! My burger tasted just like mom makes em the pickles had to be homemade or something bc they were so good! The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked. I wanted to try it but I was so full. The proportions were huge! Chicken fried steak, cheeseburger, okra, drinks, and chicken tenders for $44 you can’t beat that. I’m here for work. I will be telling my co workers about this place!
Best French fries anywhere their food is so great from their hamburgers to the catfish great food great price
Relaxing place to have dinner. Nice back pattio and yard with picnic tables. Great fried catfish, worth the drive from Austin. A nice change from the usual and the whole family liked it (a big plus)! 2 years later... it's still all good here. Great things sometimes dont change, thank God. Keep it up guys!!
I had the catfish dinner which included hush puppies, coleslaw, and fries. The catfish was perfectly breaded and fried and was very tender. My wife had a spinach salad with chicken, feta cheese, and dressing and we shared a veggie appetizer with fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, fried green tomatoes, onion rings, and fried pickles. Service was quick and professional, you pick up your order when they call your name. Highly recommend!! 🙂
I had one of those rare, unforgettable days that remind you how wonderful people can be — and it all started at the gym. I met Shana Whiteley, manager of Good Luck Grill, and her friend Stephanie from SunCrest Farm. Both were in high spirits, working out and having fun, and they invited me to join them. We laughed, moved, and enjoyed the workout together. Shana, with incredible generosity, invited me to try a meal at her restaurant — and WOW… it was hands down the best meal I’ve had in years. I’d never had fried vegetables before, so trying fried pickles and fried mushrooms was a mind-blowing, “where-have-you-been-all-my-life” moment. Each bite was crispy perfection. Shana took the time to personally walk me through their amazing house-made sauces, explaining ingredients and flavor pairings. I happily spent my entire 30-minute meal savoring different combinations, each one better than the last. The service was flawless: friendly explanations of each dish, a calm, welcoming atmosphere, high-quality food, and a surprisingly short wait time. I loved it so much, I took a to-go box home to share with my roommate — who was equally blown away. And the day didn’t end there. Shana introduced me to Stephanie, a skilled horse trainer at SunCrest Farm, just a short drive from the restaurant. I ended up riding a horse for the first time in my life! Stephanie’s expert guidance made the experience fun, relaxed, and even therapeutic. By the end, I was trotting — something I never imagined doing on my first try. Meeting Shana and Stephanie reminded me how rare it is to connect with people who are highly professional at what they do, yet also genuine, kind, and fun to be around — whether it’s over a workout, an incredible meal, or a new experience like horseback riding. If you’re anywhere near Manor, Texas, Good Luck Grill is an absolute must-visit. Incredible food, amazing service, and the kind of community connection you don’t find every day. And if you have a little extra time, stop by SunCrest Farm for a horseback ride you’ll never forget. Highly, highly recommended!
Great lunch spot with the family. Outback is big for the kids to run around. The crispy chicken sandwich is absolutely amazing - we stop by here every time we're in the area.
Went Friday night and was not disappointed. Got two lent specials, chipotle grilled catfish with a side salad and grilled zucchini. Got a side of hush puppies and large fries. The ranch is GOOD. Definitely homemade, maybe jalapeño ranch?! Delicious. Little bit of a wait, but not long. It was also Good Friday. Definitely need to come back for the burger. Great place! Tons of space indoor and outdoor.
I love this place soooo much! I found it traveling from Houston to Austin for work a few years ago and so glad I did! It has been about 2-3 years since I last went and wow things have changed! They expanded and added a whole new giant stone dining room to the building, along with a new back porch dining area. I normally would order the fish and shrimp combo (it is delicious!) but they also updated the menu and had a wild sounding sandwich on it I had to try! And dont forget dessert!!
The catfish and the tartar sauce were absolutely incredible and I can't stop thinking about them. Great iced tea, too. Plenty of parking and lots of seating options.
This is a hidden little Gem in Manor, TX. Just happen to stop by for lunch. Catfish and Triple bypass burger were delicious. Everything taste fresh, and staff were polite. I highly recommend and when in Manor, I would stop by again.
I just moved in from north TX, and wanted something near where I live. Went here and lemme tell ya, didn't expect much bc I was just choosing nit being picky. But dang ol son, mashed potatoes just tasted great, and the sandwich I got, goated. French fries the right amount of crisp outside and soft inside. Also they were just abt to close and still made everything superb. Would definitely go again or make it a regular
I called ahead and asked if a table of 12 could be seated and the only thing I heard was "Come on down!" The place was very nice very clean and the food was spectacular. I recommend the catfish but there are many other options available. The food came out quick and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this spot for anyone in Manor or passing through to stop by and try these delicious meals. We will be back!
I've never had a bad meal or experience at Good Luck Grill. The service is always top tier. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The food is always fresh, hot and delicious! I usually get the Exacta or a Texas Philly. Can't go wrong with either choice! The fish, shrimp and hush puppies are consistently good!
Came here for my grans birthday, she's 81. The food was great. Everything is fried.. Oysters, catfish and shrimp. I got the Trifecta and loved it. Enjoy!! 💕😍
Perfect local spot to sit relax and grab all your home cooking favs. Great service, prices, food and the kids will thank you too.
We are visiting from Montreal, Canada, and we stopped at this restaurant. Our experience was incredible: excellent customer service and food! We ordered the fried seafood platter (oysters, shrimp, fish), with fried vegetables and a sandwich, and everything was delicious! I recommend it 100%!Our experience was incredible: excellent customer service and amazing food! Great service. Real nice folks working there. Great burgers, fries. Catfish is awesome. Everything on menu is good eatin. Been going there since they opened. Love it!
The place was a bit out of my way, but not by much. Plenty of parking. Being my first time here, I didn't know what to expect. Walked in, went to the food counter to order lunch (self serve dining) found what I wanted off the menu taped to the counter. I ordered chicken fried steak, a side of mashed potatoes and a salad. My meal was ready in about 15 minutes which I picked up at the counter, couldn't help but notice that it nice and hot, as in freshly cooked. My first bite of steak told me that the cooks definitely know they are doing, it was tender, lightly battered and tasty. A few more bites and I couldn't help myself, I went to the counter and ordered the fried veggies appetizer (small). Pickles, mushrooms, zucchini and tomatoes. That was the right move cause they were delicious, just enough for two people. I could go on and on, just have to check it out your self. In Manor, off HWY 290 on 973 heading north a few miles. Bye for noe
Excellent food at great prices! We loved the catfish, and the hushpuppies are wonderful! Just the right amount of jalapeño. They even have non-alcohol beer, which a lot of places doubt have. I know 4+3+5 stars don't add up to a five star rating, but the food was just that good, and it's not going to break anybody budget, either!
My wife and came here after coming here 9 years ago. I remember finding this place back in the day taking back roads home. Well folks as many of you already know it no longer on a back road. Manor has grown tremendously and so much it’s almost touching Pflugerville. Alright, back to reviewing this place again. It’s grown on the inside since we last came. Read the signs for the entry way. Definitely plenty of parking and seating. I highly recommend sitting outside if it is nice outside or you have kids that you just want to run and play around to get their energy out. I had to stick with my favorite chicken fried steak. It’s one of the best places for this country meal. My wife just got a hamburger, I cannot remember which one. Overall, I didn’t feel bloated or have to take a to go bag. They do offer alcoholic beverages. The service with the staff is still amazing and professional. The staff provided us a delightful customer experience. They do accept Apple Pay; however, not where you order in front of you. I recommend this place as it’s one of the best locally owned places in the area.
Edit** LOVE their daily specials!!! Today was Siracha Chicken Bite Fries SO GOOD!!! Love their food! I've had the chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak dinners. Both were absolutely delicious home made goodness! Salads are always fresh, buttered toast, tasty gravy and homemade ranch is so good! The mashed potatoes have some red skins in them which I always love. Thank you for making awesome food! One of the only places in Manor that has fried chicken that rocks!
Hands down the best fried catfish and FRIES I've had!! Soul food style, so deliciously seasoned. Consider dine-in, food is crispier in person. The staff was polite, loving, and accommodating. The restaurant is cute, looks like the wild west. I was a bit apprehensive of the ultra-southern decor 😅 but it's just decoration. The staff treated me right. The entrance can be easy to miss, there's 3 large silo/towers in the front.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Staff was very kind. Ordering food was a breeze then we found a place to sit out on the patio. Our food is ready in no time, came out hot and tasty. We had a burger, chicken fried steak, and a chicken sandwich. I enjoy how the chicken fried steak had two options and 8 oz or 4 oz, I went with the 4 oz with mashed potatoes and was pleasantly surprised. The gravy down to the crust on the chicken fried steak was out of this world. Everything feels like it was made with love! Can't wait to come back and try Good Luck again!

Still the best catfish ever! But to be honest, everything we've tried is amazing and do delicious. Great atmosphere and worth a visit.
Fish was good size pieces and cooked perfectly. The catfish, fries and okra were all served nice and hot!! We definitely will come here again if in the area.

While the food is tasty, the portions are quite small for the price asked. It's a very nice venue but both myself and my partner left feeling the need to find more food somewhere else for a reasonable price, after having spent ~ 45$ incl tip already. I had a burger and she had fried mushrooms alongside a shrimp plate.
first and foremost: google the difference between "hen" and "rooster" to avoid any awkward restroom incidents. the food, the service, the atmosphere are all top tier. hot, fresh and in a timely manner. a hidden gem.
Food was pretty good but not as good as I remember in the past. Still worth a stop either way.
Stopped in for food with my family. 2nd visit there, first time I had the Catfish Toes which are really good! This time I tried the Chicken Fried Steak. Wasn't a very big portion for 14 and change .. and it was served on a plastic disposable plate and was forced to use plastic knife and fork. For disposable Customers? Get it together guys it's not that hard to wash a plate or some silverware.
Been several times. Really enjoy the catfish basket which comes with 4 fillets, hush puppies and either fries or cole slaw. Catfish is crunchy outside and juicy inside. Wife gets the American classic burger. Portions large enough for a take home box. This place has the same menu as the Lucky Duck in Taylor. Little hard to see the driveway off 973 to enter. Look for the cone bottom industrial tanks by the highway painted in ketchup and mustard colors.
I did not like Good Luck Grill on my first visit, but a friend convinced me to go back and try their Double Cheeseburger with bacon . It was definitely worth the trip. The burger was huge and turned out to be one of my favorites in the Austin area. I have been on a burger kick lately, and the Good Luck Double Cheeseburger holds its own against hand-helds from JewBoys, Hat Creek, Buddy's, Dan's, P. Terry's, Clark's Oyster Bar and Bartlett's (Top 5 of mine). NADC, Casino, Jabs, Casino El Camino, and Hopdoddy are on deck to try over the next month or so. If you have others, I should try, let me know. The Good Luck Double Cheeseburger ($15.78) with bacon) comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickle, cheese, and mustard. I always add bacon and sub in mayo and ketchup for the mustard. Get fries on the side, or if you like onion rings, ask for them to be cooked a little darker. Good Luck has 10 burgers on their menu. Other favorites of mine are the Triple Crown ($12.99), which comes with onion rings, bacon and ranch dressing, plus all the fixings. The Chili Cheeseburger ($11.29) comes with Papa Duck's chili, cheese, and onions on top. It's a mess, but oh, so good! If burgers aren't your thing, try their Lucky Club Sandwich ($10.39), Catfish Basket ($10.99), or the Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu ($13.99). If you like Fried Green Tomatoes ($4.99), they have good ones. Ask for some of their Chipotle aioli on the side. My advice is go for the burgers and you will find other things that are good too. Good Luck Grill is located in Manor. Cool Tip: Check out Jupiter's Ice Cream, six minutes away from the restaurant for dessert. Its on 290 East heading toward Elgin. #MattGoodEats
Grab a menu and order at the counter. Very friendly service from our order taker and allowed us to peer into the very clean and organized kitchen with staff wearing proper hair nets or caps. Food preparation was fast and we got fried seafood plates. One with catfish, shrimp, and oysters, the other with just catfish and shrimp. Nice serving sizes and delighted to find the seafood was all hand breaded, NOT pre-breaded frozen as so many casual restaurants do these days to save on labor but lower the flavor. Excellent flavor, fried to perfection. I would, however, not get the basket with the oysters next time as they were too soft in texture. This can be caused by the oil not being quite hot enough but the breading seemed fried perfectly. Interestingly, I also got a bit of a pearl breaded in one of them which is alarming but fortunately quite small. The fish and shrimp were so perfect that this was a small matter to me. The catfish was excellent, crispy, seasoned perfectly, and fresh, and the shrimp was large and just as tasty as well so those would be my go-to. The sides need some attention. The fries were premade and frozen from their food supplier so they were fried well and just fine, but not special, and the slaw, in my opinion, was just awful. No seasoning and not even enough mayo or any other component to help it out. Very bland cabbage... It did not deserve the marriage of the excellent fried seafood and delicious hush puppies. The plate came with 3 sauces and you can serve yourself ketchup from the bar as well. The tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were good but the honey mustard was absolutely dreadful as it was far predominantly mustard and VERY little honey. I skipped that one. Plain brown mustard with seafood is not a good thing. Not really needed anyway. The restaurant was very clean and well kept and the staff all appeared well trained and managed, keeping up with tasks throughout our time there. Filling sauce containers, cleaning the condiment bar and refilling needed items, clearing tables etc. At 11am on a Sunday there was plenty of space. By noon they were packed. It's a popular destination. With good reason. I think if they worked on getting recipes the staff had to follow to make the slaw measurements concise for flavor, as well as the honey mustard an actual honey mustard, they would level up to a 5 even without handcut fries. However, they are clearly not going by a precise recipe there and it showed. I would expect that at times those sides are excellent, but just prepared far wrong today. I look forward to trying them again soon. We skipped desserts because the pecan pies at the ordering stand clearly had machine-made, rather than scratch-made crusts and the cookies being individually wrapped usually means they don't fly out fast enough.
I've been here a couple of times and had a good experience. The food is a little hit and miss. One day the onion rings will be the best I've ever had and the next time they will look really not good. I ordered the deluxe cheeseburger the first time and the mushroom burger the next time and I liked those. My husband ordered their chicken and their bacon jalapeno burger and was not impressed by either. Their grilled cheese was okay. They have a Frito pie that is like a little taco/nacho dish that was pretty tasty. Something that we loved was their Jackpot dessert. It is crushed pecans then cool whip, chocolate cream pie filling, whipped cream, and more crushed pecans on top. It is really delicious. They also have this whole area behind the restaurant where kids can play or you can just enjoy the evening.
I had the "Blue Ribbon Burger". Was so delicious! The bacon was perfect, the bun was tasty...every part was serious about being a delectable burger!! I managed to make it even tastier by getting a side of ranch dressing to put on it!! The fries were also crispy, flavorful and hate to over use the description but perfect!! The girl at the counter was personable, sweet and pretty. The food came out fast, and the restaurant was beautiful and clean!! There wasn't anything dirty anywhere!!! My husband got the double bacon cheeseburger and was unable to finish it but said it needed more bacon, lol. The sweet tea was right on and not too sweet . I really was impressed with the outdoor area and overall decor and feel of the restaurant!!! I am so glad we stopped, and can't wait to try other menu items!!! Update: I ordered 2 Chicken fried Chicken plates and a kid's tenders meal to go. Portion sizes seemed small. 2 tenders was the size of one chicken fried chicken. Half the price. Delicious, though. *Shrugs* what can you do in this economy?
This place has some of the best fried mushrooms and delicious sweet tea. The staff is friendly.

Nice atmosphere at this place. Food was ok could have used more seasoning. I had chicken fried chicken. Food was fresh.
The food was pretty good! You order and pick up your food at a counter and pick your place to eat. The decor was interesting but a little cobwebby
This spot is good for family dinners and the service was friendly and with a smile. I had the catfish and thought is was pretty competitive. The atmosphere could use a little work though.

The burger tasted like a cheap pre made patty from out of a bag from the frozen food section at a grocery store. The fries were great Burger not so much. We ordered two combo meals and it was $33. Over priced for what you get in my opinion. Most likely won't be back.
Whoever said they were from louisianna and like the fish was either lying to u or from north of ih-10. Bc that catfish tasted like nothing from the boot. I got a double jalapeño cheeseburger and a catfish basket. And both were a disappointment. Burger wasn’t seasoned, or filling. The ground beef was lower quality and the Catfish was fried hard while being undercooked. But damn was that jalapeño ranch and hush puppy good😂 but other than that i wouldn’t recommend eating here. Whataburger has a superior burger, but a less superior jalapeño ranch. Idk maybe it was a one off, but being from houston and lafayette. That was not it
We did take out on November 29th the food was great but watch no itemized receipts so when you order over the phone we had the girl.repeat our order to make sure if she everything correct. We were overcharged and the owner was very argumentative and refused to refund us for 1 plate we did not get rightfully owed us. Then he offers an itemized receipt after we got home and called with the complaint how convenient. it’s his business duty as an owner to give a full itemized receipt anyway. We have a generous tip and lost a plate in the process. We had the girl when taking our order repeat our order because she going too wasn’t trying to make sure what we ordere led she got it correctly we emphasized getting the order correctly. No we won’t we coming back we spent over $100.00 in food with poor customer service.
Let me start by saying I love this place and my family and I eat here quite a bit which is what makes this review sting more.. Normally the food is fantastic, we’ve never had a problem as I usually get the burger and my wife gets the catfish. The burger is always good, never had a problem and her fish is always great too. I decided to try something different as I was craving shrimp. I was expecting a shrimp basket to have.. well.. more than 4 small shrimp.. It tastes good but this is definitely not worth $13. I’ll stick to the burger from here on out, just a warning to anyone wanting shrimp.. ask about it first.. This review is based solely on this trip, if it was any other time it would have been a 5 star. Edit: I did go back and read the menu and it says four shrimp so that’s on me but when I see shrimp basket I’m thinking a basket of fried shrimp, especially for the price, I’ll stick to the burgers from now on, those are great!
Not worth the price. $30 for a premade frozen burger patty and some fried catfish is way too much. Low quality food with a hefty price tag

They have a huge back yard. Went there to watch the storm come in with our 10 pound dog and eat. We were going to sit in the back yard because of the doc. We asked if that was okay and the waitress yelled at us and said no dogs. Whoops! Wasn’t mad about no dogs but was about her yelling at us. Guess I’ll go to the Road House- from now on out.
Our visit started out with us going out to the patio to eat. There was an employee out there on her phone talking VERY LOUDLY in Spanish. It was so loud that we couldn't even talk over her. My husband asked her to please tone it down, and she gave him a filthy look and stocked away. Now the food..... My hamburger was small and tasteless, and the onion rings were limp and the breading fell off before I could even eat them. The Trifecta was OK, but my husband got a stomach ache after eating it. Both my husband and I felt sick when we got home and spent awhile in the bathroom... The best part were the fries. They were actually good. We would HIGHLY recommend NOT going to this place.
