I went in, ordered my food, got my food, ate and enjoyed my food. 😀 staff seemed happy as did the customers in the place. I like to do a little review if I've been generally happy with stuff. I was surprised by the number of low ratings on this one 'cos I thought it was spot on for a fast food outlet. Chicken was nice: cooked to perfection 😀 I liked the seasonal spicy chips and the coffee was; well, like coffee. I'm as 'appy as a skylark 😀
Spent £25.00 for congealed cold gravy in a pot and dried up chicken wings mainly, bought two three piece meals, tables unclean and place absolutely freezing, made worse by child kicking tables, won’t come again. How do I get my £25.00 back?!
Had dine in lunch. Service was good, food was as expected from a KFC. Chicken was hot and cooked well. Tasted like some of the 11 herbs and spices were missing though and burger could have more salad. Store was nice and clean. I would eat here again.
Visited on 20th .dec 2025 and have no issues with the food, but 2 weeks after I received a £60 penalty charge notice stating that I had overstayed the 60min max parking, even though their photo evidence showed me entering at 15:19 and leaving at 15:41. Rang KFC but they have had that many complaints, they don’t do anything to cancel, so I have to go through appeals process now. Will have to look at going to Sutton branch from now on.
Could not work out ordering from panel being not used to tec, approached servery to ask young lady if I could order but told i had to use pre order facility, just about to walk out when a more mature lady asked if I would like to order from her, many thanks to her and please educate your staff on older people's skills. Just to add the restaurant was very cold
First portion of chips were cold and tasted bad. They then charged me for another portion that was apparently 'fresh' but just as bad. Cost me nearly £5 for 2 inedible portions of chips
Visited KFC car Wash on 21st December, and a week later received parking notice saying overstayed over 60 minutes, but the ticket itself says only stayed 26 minutes. Spoke to management and they said it has been happening to many people and they can’t do anything about it and asked me to appeal so people going there be careful.
It was warmer outside than it was to sit and eat, multiple people complaining about the temperature while we were sat shivering trying to eat our luke warm food. Staff saying the heatings broke without care for customers. Should not be open in its current state.
The worst takeaway, ordered on Deliveroo, missing half the order and the twister wrap was just a dry piece of chicken on a wrap with some sauce that I could’ve made myself at home 🤣
The restaurant was absolutely freezing. It was uncomfortable to sit and eat, but more concerning was seeing staff having to wear coats while working. It’s not right for employees to be expected to work in such cold conditions. This really needs to be addressed.
I ordered from Just Eat this evening and I'm so disappointed. It was a 6 pc Family Feast with 2 sides, 4 fries and a drink. I'm sorry but late night ordering doesn't excuse poor quality food. The chicken drumsticks were so dry and the crispy coating was hard. Also instead of Large Gravy, which is my favourite, you given us 2x Beans, which i was not notified about. I hate beans! The beans were also marked as sold by 9:06pm, yet our order arrived around 10pm. We have had some lovely KFC from different locations but this one isn't it. We have been left hungry. The staff tonight clearly couldn't wait to leave and showed their carelessness, or maybe it's always like this.
That was my last time been here. Toilets dirty No warm water in tap Inside was absolutely cold no much warmer then outside Food served was cold and taste like …. I can’t find a proper word for it… Absolutely disappointed….
Wouldn’t recommend ordering food from this store. Ordered festive double bucket and the food was extremely oily that the paper bag was soaked with oil when I got it delivered. Fries and chicken weren’t crispy at all,coleslaw tasted bad, rice was mushy and the only thing tasted good was the pepsi.
We came here Friday night before the cinema. The resturaunt was absolutely freezing! We ordered food and waited for over 20 minutes, not that busy and even drivers were walking out. The staff were useless, everyone was moaning and nobody could explain what was happening. Peoples orders were wrong and the food was dismal. Honestly, don't go here it is very poor. We missed our film and nobody cares.
How the hell can you get two lots of mini fillets cold and all we get is a replacement the bbq fillet tower was stone cold but my lad was that hungry he ate his I left mine after taking it back once also the two side orders of leg chicken was cold all the fries including the dirty fries cold so was the popcorn you guys really do need to learn to serve hot food even the beans out the draw was just like warm and the coleslaw tasted off we was order 8116 and I tell you this store has massively dropped seriously people need to go a little further and go Burger King or dreaded McDonald’s as I am sure this place will be shutting soon of it carry’s on I shall be getting in touch with head office ph and your restaurant is bloody freezing no wonder the food left in the serving hatch is cold.
I bought a 10 bargain bucket and a 4 pieces of chicken. They put both together in the bucket. From the 14 pieces I got 1 drumstick, 1 chicken wings and 12 pieces back of chicken, which is vet dry and basically just bones. Thank you very much, I'm definitely not going back to this KFC for sure
I’m really disappointed with my recent drive-through order. I ordered 10 pieces of chicken but only received 6. Unfortunately, I didn’t realise until I got home — and it’s too far to drive back just for their mistake. When I contacted the restaurant, I was only offered the missing pieces on my next visit, which doesn’t really make up for the inconvenience. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened, and it’s frustrating that such basic errors keep occurring. I expect better attention to detail and proper customer service — especially when we’re paying full price for our meals.
Normally order from Sutton kfc but this one of time I ordered from Mansfield not going to get into so much detail but expected minimum room temperature food when on arrival gravy is a block of jelly and no word of a lie the hottest thing from the meal I had was the bottle of pop… I wish I was lying about this but first and last time ordering from Mansfield kfc. Either give your staff a redbull to pull a finger out or find someone who would cook / prepare a meal how they would eat it…
Look at the state of my food had a takeaway today and came like this. Tasted stale and bitter. Looks like its been fried several times times! Disgusting 🤮
Absolutely filthy inside. Not what you want to be looking at while you’re eating. Nor does it show a very good representation! If the restaurant looks like this what does the kitchen look like that no one can see if your happy for us to see this mess what are you hiding?
Ordered online by 20:00 and received the order by 22:00. The food was cold. Missing products from order, instead of 2 mayo I’ve got just one. Fillet chicken was dark brown ( the oil hasn’t changed when has been cooked ). Really poor service’s .
AVOID!!!!! Visited KFC Mansfield Nottingham Road branch to collect food from inside to take home. Haven’t been for many years and now I know why! Spent £34 and my partner had what looked to be a pubic hair in her chicken rice box mixed in on opening. My partner rang to complain and the ‘so called’ manager said that she could return and collect her £5.99 refund. When she asked for a couple of quid on top for diesel to go back and collect the refund they refused. To be clear, we weren't asking for a full refund! They also refused for another method of providing the refund so that we weren’t inconvenienced any further. I say the ‘so called’ manager because she had to speak to some-else first and then refused to give her name when she was told this would be taken further. They already had £34 so I think a heartfelt apology and £8 refund was more than acceptable for inedible food and inconvenience caused due to their cleanliness issues. The food was untouched and I was more than happy to give it back! Common sense did not prevail in this instance…. The customer shouldn’t suffer because of their shortcomings, yet they expected us to be out of pocket and inconvenienced. Check out the Trip Advisor reviews. Looks like they need a full revamp or closing down!
