For New Year's Eve in the Mantua area, we went to this pizzeria with family and friends. Excellent pizza, light and easily digestible dough, and a vast menu offering a wide variety of pizzas, appetizers, first courses, and second courses of both meat and fish. The beer was also very good. Efficient service. Fair prices.

Introduction: Two of us arrived at 10 PM on a Saturday and asked for vegan and gluten-free options. Despite the somewhat challenging situation, the staff was very courteous and helpful. They served us risotto, which certainly wasn't gourmet (it tasted like seasoned boiled rice), but it was decent and, most importantly, ready within twenty minutes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and even the restrooms were clean and pleasant in their simplicity. A group-friendly venue, with a big screen and take-out pizza, all for a fair price. Outdoor parking is reserved for the pizzeria.

The pizza was delicious, the first courses were good but nothing special, and the service was terrible. The last time I was there, the service was good, maybe because there weren't many people.

The location is okay, the food is average, though not commensurate with the prices (a bit excessive). The only downside is the service: excessive pressure to get us to leave, with the owner acting annoyed, once we'd finished our dish. We had to leave the table immediately.

The pizza is exceptional as always 👍🏻 I wanted to dine outside since the table was set, to avoid the heat inside and all the noise of the crowd, but they wouldn't let us, saying "We prefer inside." I pointed this out and they replied, "Leave it set during the day and we'll leave it set." Okay, that's fine, but in the evening, if someone sees the table set outside and wants to eat in a cool, quiet place (it wasn't cold at all, by the way, cool) they won't let you. It's better to walk a few steps further and clear the table than to say "no" to a customer. Pizza, I repeat, exceptional, but I found a hair inside a cherry tomato. If you look closely at the photo, you'll see the thickest part that would give the root, which then becomes very thin. I pointed it out as politely as possible at the register, without mentioning it in front of other customers so as not to make him look bad. It shouldn't happen, but it can happen, and he lets it go by pointing it out for future occasions. My bill was €35.00, maybe a slight discount for the inconvenience, or a complimentary liqueur, I don't know, it was welcome and I would have greatly appreciated it as an "apology," but instead, nothing at all 😅 In fact, when I showed her the photos, she acted dismissive, disinterestedly surprised, and didn't even care, as if it were impossible that it could have happened.

01/06/2025 - While the food is decent, we strongly recommend checking that the prices on the menu match those on your receipt. At the end of the meal, we were met with an unpleasant surprise: three dishes were charged an extra euro each, which the cashier had adjusted when checking out. When we asked for an explanation, we were told it was a "price update"—unfortunately, it wasn't mentioned anywhere, nor was it communicated to us in any way. This is improper (and, in my opinion, not very legal) and lacks transparency, which ruins the experience.
