The white pozole was delicious. The service was excellent from the two cooks, and the cashier was very pleasant. They made us some delicious extra-large homemade tostadas. The place was very clean and quaint. Though for those visiting Colima, be aware that this place is a few blocks above the center and the Portals, but it's worth the walk.

Excellent place! We were in town looking for something to eat. We asked a couple on the street and they recommended this place. We arrived and it's a quiet place, but it has long hours, from 7 am to 10 pm, and a pretty extensive menu too. I ordered a marinated pork loin sandwich and it was really delicious. My wife ordered a hamburger and it was also good, but the meat was a little thin. I might give it 5 stars if the kitchen looked cleaner, but the food is very good overall and the service is excellent.

It's tasty, but if they cooked it with less fat it would be better.
It's a good place except that most of the time they give you what you want, and I've had the experience where they forget to place my order and tell me they'll prepare it right away and that I have to pick it up. Clearly, that shouldn't be the case, since food is ordered in advance.

Don't dare try, no matter which lunch you order, they will give you the lunch you want, and if you dare to complain and order the lunch you originally wanted, they will charge you extra.
We arrived and there was no one there besides us. We ordered, and soon a couple more customers arrived. After half an hour, the other customers had already received their orders, but we hadn't. We had to wait almost 40 minutes for the three tortas we ordered to go. It seemed obvious to me that they were locals and we were visiting; if you're visiting, DO NOT come here.
