Haru restaurant Mappano Reviews
I went yesterday (December 8, 2025) with my family. We ate abundantly and left feeling truly satisfied. The products are high-quality (and it shows) and the portions were fantastic (although some were a little small, but that doesn't matter: as long as you ate well). I recommend the shrimp balls, the various sushi options, the salmon, mango, and ginger "fruit salad," and the fried shrimp: all AMAZING. I would definitely go back. Thanks for the experience ❤️
Without a doubt, the best sushi in Northern Turin. The fish is always fresh and the takeout service is excellent! Plus, there's a wide variety of dishes, all delicious 😋 The staff is super friendly and always available. If you're in the area, it's worth stopping by! The 5 stars are well deserved!
I had a really great experience. The food is of excellent quality, very tasty, with the possibilità of having frega fish. The service is excellent—they bring everything right away, even for kids, who are often treated differently because they’re “younger.” They are truly kind and accommodating. I come here very often, and I have to say everything is fantastic and delicious, especially the place itself, which is very elegant. I give it 5 stars!

Excellent sushi, reservations are practically mandatory. Good service, the only thing I did was ask for a list of ingredients for a dish and was told they didn't know—this definitely needs improvement. Many options, including delicious takoyaki. It's a shame you can only order once. Lots of cooked fish and veggies. It's now a regular stop.
The food and service is very good but it is difficult to book. Most of the time they don't answer the phone
The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing, the dishes are well-prepared. The only flaw is the slow service. Upstairs, the wait is interminable, with more than ten minutes passing between each course.
I've been going to this place for years now, and unfortunately, I have to admit that it's lost its appeal over time. Ordering has been done via an app for a while now, and there's much less staff. The place is still nice and clean, but the quality of the food has unfortunately declined.
Food is a 5 star rating. While value for money comes in at 3.But what really let's it down is the service which is a terrible 1 star. Enjoy the food and try not to to be agitated by the poor service
Second time here. The first time I was impressed by the freshness and attention to detail of the dishes (perhaps because it was dinner). The second time I went for lunch, and unfortunately, there were several things I didn't like. The presentation of the dishes was very messy. The beef steak was inedible because it smelled bad. The tempura and fried foods in general were too greasy and placed on the plate without any logic or sauce. The sushi rice was slightly sweet. And always placed on the plate without any attention to detail. On a positive note, the tartare and seared nigiri. The service was okay. The atmosphere was a bit too noisy, and perhaps it smelled of fried food. Price: €15, including cover charge.
Holiday lunch, nothing exceptional, food either salty or bland, 3 euros for 0.75 filtered water, many courses can only be taken once, while in many other places the same ones have no limitations, very detached staff, let's say that overall it is mediocre, worth trying but only once to satisfy your curiosity, given that it is overrated, as I hear people say.
I went to dinner at this restaurant today with my mother and boyfriend, and at first glance, the place is quite pleasant, beautiful, seemingly clean, and the waiters are kind and helpful. The problem was when I ordered the shrimp tempura: upon first bite, I immediately noticed that the shrimp hadn't been cleaned before frying; the animal's intestines were still completely present. I called the waitress, who apologized and promptly replaced the dish. After about 5 minutes, a new plate of shrimp tempura arrived, and once again, the shrimp were dirty. I called her again and said I didn't want it anymore. Cleaning the animal's innards before serving is the bare minimum: just because it's hidden inside the fried food doesn't make it okay; "what you can't see, you can't taste" isn't acceptable. Also, because, in the rice dumplings, the shrimp were perfectly clean. Honestly, this situation makes me a little uneasy about returning or recommending this place, even though I can't deny that the service is fast and the food is good.
The food isn't great; I was quite disappointed by the shrimp tempura, a very heavy, inedible fried dish. But the worst thing is that they didn't clean the intestines (as you can see from the photo), which is equivalent to serving (shrimp) excrement on your plate. We won't be returning.
The place look very good. But the food is not tasty. It is more like canteen then in the restourant. Definitely nothing about Japan is there.
