Bodegas La Venecia Marbella Reviews
We walked in off the street as we walked around the town. Great choice. Good food and service. Don't recall specifics on menu prices, but we considered it reasonable. We sat inside though outdoor option was available.
Stopped here for a late lunch with my wife. I had oxtail and my wife had lamb chops. Both meals were really tasty and well cooked. The service was excellent even though the restaurant was very busy. We can highly recommend this gem of a restaurant.
If you're looking for authentic Spanish tapas place, look no further. Easily spotted by the amount of people that are constantly present enjoying themselves with a glass of sangria. If you're planning to check the place out, do look for Marcos, he was incredibly accomodating. Amazing food, drinks and vibes!
We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience! A huge plus was the waiter who confidently took charge and recommended both food and drinks – every choice was a complete success. Thank you, Marcos, for an outstanding and memorable service that truly elevated the entire evening. The entrecôte we were served was absolutely amazing, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We will definitely be coming back!
We had one of the most awesome dinners in Marbella. Our group included a bunch of kids, and Marcos was incredibly patient, warm, and thoughtful while guiding us through the menu and helping us order. Every recommendation he gave was spot-on from start to finish. The food, service, and overall experience made it a night we won’t forget. Highly recommend.
Great menu, made even better by server MARCOS! He explained the whole menu, including the tapas up in the bar. Give this man a raise! Great customer service and delicious food. Been here twice this week already, probably back tomorrow! Update- came back again! Tapas, suckling pig, dessert, and more Marcos!
We were recommended this restaurant by some who spends alot of time in Marbella. The tapas in this restaurant in Marbella Old Town hit the spot. We were served by Marcos who recommended a few dishes to us. One was prawn with potatoes which I highly recommend. Marcus made sure we were served quickly with a smile and sense of humour. Atmosphere was buzzy and full of locals. Always a good sign. Highly recommend.
Travelling to Marbella regularly, this is a place I always try to come to. Today we had Marcos looking after us… what a pleasure it was. The Morcón( A type of cured chorizo) by 5jotas is a must if you’re into charcuterie. Home made jamón croquetas were really nice, I’ve had better but no complaints. One dish I ALWAYS have when I do come is the Carrillada( slow cooked pork cheeks).. it really hits the spot. The whole experience was really enhanced by Marcos’ attention and service, very funny and warm. He’s a real one … gives a damn. Price wise , as with so many places in Spain, unbelievable. If you’re in Marbella any time of year then you need to hit this place up. A telling sign is how many locals eat here…
Best place in town if you want a traditional restaurant where to eat well at a good price. The environment is wonderful, the food fantastic and good prices. Marcos the waiter has been very gentle. Was here a decade ago and came back and still is a great place where to eat in Marbella.

Very busy bodega but worth the wait for a table and food. Great tapas, 1/2 racion and full racion. Wish we found this place sooner on our holiday as we would have returned.

Located a few blocks in from the more touristy seaside area, is this excellent local restaurant. You will have to forego the seaview for a view of parked cars and pavements, but the sizeable menu a…
Best food in the world! Me and my friend have been here 3 days in 4 days. Best Patatas bravas and gambas al pil pil! And sangria! Good price, good location.
BEST restaurant in Marbella. Great food, service and ambiance. Full of life. Highly recommended. And yes we did meet the famous Marcos !

10/10 great food been coming for 10 years You will Not be disappointed and well priced Tortilla Potatas bravas Chorizo Jamon Calamari
Had a nice bowl of pasta here, massive portion for a creamy pasta but I'm not a huge portion eater - so maybe ok for others! Very reasonable house wine prices but very few options to choose from by the glass. Staff were accommodating, some in the group wanted to watch the f1 so they put it on the outside screen for them! And they took in a table of 12 as a walk in with no booking which was appreciated.
Very nice evening here , friendly staff and owner , delicious traditional tapas and drinks with a really nice atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely pop in again

We queued for about 20 minutes to join the vibrant crowd at Bodega La Venencia. The experience deteriorated quickly with our Hustler waitstaff - Mulero. We requested a “Drink Menu”. He didn’t…
The waiter (older white hair man) is so rude. Also service is very bad. We are waiting a bill minimum 20 minutes ( restaurant was almost free)
