Bella Sera Marble Falls Reviews
This was my first time eating here. I tried a great staple. Chicken Parmesan with the fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken was delicious and the marinara sauce had robust flavor. The fettuccine was fresh and the alfredo sauce had a rich, bold flavor. Topped it off with some tiramisu that was nothing short of fantastic. Building is newly remodeled. Loved it. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great food for the price.
Amazing all around! The ambiance and setting is like nothing in the area. Wow! And the food! The food! Will come back again for sure!
It was a wonderful experience. Albana was attentive and has great customer service. I will be returning. I hope I get to sit in her area again. Thank you so much.
Best Italian food! I went San Fran, little Italy, and I Missed this place. So much better!! Plus, newly remodeled. Not just any remodel. I highly recommend. My fav, Shrimp Fradiablo
Glad to see Bella Sera back in their original restaurant after 3+ years of complete renovations due to a fire! The renovations are beautiful and very Italian! Food just as good. Can be very busy especially on weekends. We took friends and they were impressed! Chef even came out to meet us!
It was wonderful great they are back at the original restaurant. Everyone was nice. Service was great. Staff was very nice and polite. I ordered the trio sampler. It was great as always. Can't wait to go back again. Overall great experience.
Here’s a refined version of your review that improves flow, consistency, and punctuation while keeping your natural tone intact: This review is for the newly remodeled space. We’d been curious to try this place since it was under construction when we moved here over four years ago! The bread was served hot and dangerously delicious—I almost filled up on it before my entrée arrived. The pizza was the closest I’ve had to Joe’s Pizza since moving from Manhattan, which is to say, it was excellent. For what it’s worth, I’m vegan, so I ordered mine without cheese. My husband had the linguine with mushrooms and absolutely loved it. The service was outstanding, and I was pleasantly surprised when our server switched to Italian to greet the chef as he passed by. It turns out he’s from Italy, and the food clearly reflects that authenticity.
The menu is great. When making your selection, get away from the basic Italian food items such as spaghetti and meatballs. Go for the items you can't make at home. I always have the muscles, scallops, shrimp, and claws dish. It's fantastic. Always has been. Also, I always have the house dressing on my salad. Get away from the usual dressings like Thousand Island and Ranch.
Wife and I were really surprised. We heard good reviews on the food and it did not disappoint. Currently the operate out of a strip center location but they are building a beautiful location down the road that looks near completion. I recommend trying the ravioli appetizer. It was absolutely amazing. Probably the best Italian food I have eaten. We will definitely be going back.
My husband and I spent Valentine's here. It was perfect! The food is savory and fresh. Made to order and served quickly. We had the sweet tea and it was ice cold and refreshing. The stromboli was very memorable, (I wish I had some more right now). The family atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We would love to come back and bring our family to enjoy the food.
Our group of ten was generally well taken care of, and the service from the team was attentive and efficient. We did, however, experience a less professional interaction with the cashier, which was a minor drawback in an otherwise positive visit. We hope this feedback is helpful and that future visits reflect the high standard set by the rest of the staff.
The crust is on the thin side. The sauce and toppings have just enough spiciness without being overspiced. The pepperoni is fantastic: nice thick slices with a pleasant pork flavor. The sausage looks like the horrible pellet variety, but it's not that bad: it has decent flavor. The service is quick and attentive. I enjoyed the pizza I got from here.
Gorgeous new building but they really need to improve the quality of the food. We ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and the sampler plate. Both were underwhelming. Chicken was very bland and the red sauce covered everything on the sampler plate. The lasagne tasted the same as the manicotti and cannelloni. No fresh grated parmesan. Since most of the staff come from Croatia and Albania, they should know how to cook. Service was good. Hope they improve the food.
This is literally the tell of two restaurants. We went on Friday and had Italian Entrees. They were great and our server, Sara, was great. The place was slammed and everyone was enjoying themselves. We saw a pizza as we were walking out and mentioned to the person checking us out that it looked really good. She told us to come back tomorrow and try it. We decided pizza sounded good, so we did return. The place was dead. Our waitress was somewhat rude and wanting to charge for every little thing that we had no trouble getting the night before. The food was bland. I honestly don't know if you should go or not, but if you do, ask for Sara.
We stopped for lunch on our way back from San Antonio. I ordered the Tortellini Alla Panna which wasn't much better than a can of ravioli. My wife's Chicken Parm tasted like a cheap chicken nugget covered in sauce. Definitely would recommend skipping this place
Just went tonight , stood in a line to an empty front desk with no host/hostess for 15 minutes with a line almost out the door, no updates, no personal interaction, I’d say 10 people left total in front of me and behind me for the same reason. Have been before and the food does taste good, but only when they get the order right! They seem short staffed and it could have just been an off night, but service so bad we left.
I visited Bella Sera about 10-12 years ago. It was a great place for Italian food. I returned, driving over an hour just to bring friends. I have not been there since. Today, on my way home on 281, we decided to stop... 12/3/25. I wasn't impressed at all. I remember their bread rolls being so good. The ones we got were burnt. I asked for a fresh batch of rolls and I was not impressed with those either. My husband and I got the pasta sampler. It was just ok. Nothing special. Service was amazing, though.
I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. It tasted like white cream. All I could taste was the noodles. I had to use about a half of a jar of their Parmesan to give it some flavor. I will never go back.
Positive note: the service was great. Really nice guys. Everything was very pretty, atmosphere wise. On the other note, the food was pretty bad. Paid 25 bucks for what was basically a side salad with 5 shrimps on there. With very wet (watery) lettuce. Also got spaghetti. The meatballs were frozen meatballs and the sauce clearly came from a can. Also, I know I’m not an expert, but I don’t think you can serve angel hair pasta and say it’s the same as spaghetti. I know the economy is bad and whatnot but you can’t expect customers to pay sky high prices for subpar frozen food. And to top it off, unfortunately, when I got back to my hotel I got a very upset stomach. And, no, I didn’t eat anything else.
We sat for at least 20 minutes without even being acknowledged. Then I took out my phone and told my husband I would give them 5 more minutes. At that time we watched another couple come in and at the 4 minute mark, their waiter was at their table. I was DONE. Mind you, we love this restaurant and have been loyal customers since they opened, but this was not acceptable. We walked out and won't likely return. It makes me sad because we have eaten here for years.
Horrible service. Amazing food. Don't be too hungry when you go because you won't get your food for at least an hour. We stood at the hostess stand for 5 minutes before someone noticed us. We were brought to a booth and ignored for an additional 15 minutes before someone came and asked for our drink orders. We got our drinks and were ignored for ANOTHER 15 minutes before they took our food order. Food came out 72 minutes later and they literally never came back. We had to go up to the counter and wait in line to pay our bill. Had to get our own to-go boxes from a shelf. This was by far the worst dining experience I've ever had, and that includes McDonald's where they serve human DNA. Will never be back. For the prices....they need to do better.
To be such a beautiful renovation- truly a beautiful building, the service doesn’t come close. After getting seated for dinner, told that coffee was not available for dinner (coffee mind you), and presented with a statement of what they were out of- AND - being left unattended for 15 minutes to follow up on our order- it was clear our business wasn’t wanted. We left, and had a wonderful meal at Adriano’s- served with a tasty cup of coffee and wine. Incredibly disappointed. If the service doesn’t improve, and the newness wears off, they will have a high cost location with no customers.
My wife and I stopped in for a drink and an appetizer to check the new place out. We arrived at 4:30 figuring it would be before the dinner rush. We asked if there was a bar area where we could sit and have a drink and appetizer. We were directed to the bar in back. Red flag because there was no bartender on duty. Two flat screen TVs were on and someone was at one of the tables in the bar area wrapping silverware. We sat for a few minutes as servers walked by completely ignoring us. Guy wrapping silverware also ignored us. Then someone came, I guess the hostess, with menus and asked if we were eating dinner at the bar. We said no, we just wanted drinks and an appetizer. She said “Just appetizers?” She gave us food menus and left. After sitting there another ten minutes no one stopped to wait on us. No bartender showed up. Appetizers looked pretty overpriced. No drink menu offered so we didn’t get a chance to think about what we wanted. We got up and left. Woman at front asked if we decided not to eat anything. I told her we were completely ignored. Not interested in begging for service. I guess it’s hard opening a new location, but these are service basics. Your staff should never repeatedly walk by someone with nothing but a menu in front of them and ignore them. The bar should have a bartender at all times. How do the servers get drinks? Odd. Doubt we’ll be back.
Bella Sera used to be one of my favorite spots affordable, welcoming, and consistently good while they were in the strip mall during their remodel. After visiting the new "grand opening," I'm beyond disappointed. Prices have jumped dramatically, portions have gotten smaller, and it feels like they've forgotten the very local community that supported them through the remodel. One visit was enough for me, overpriced food and smaller portions don't make for a warm welcome. It's a shame to see a hometown favorite turn into something unrecognizable. A little research into your local demographic would go a long way toward keeping your loyal customers while attracting new ones. Catering only to tourists or the wealthy class isn't a smart long-term move. Now I would like to add the new location is huge and beautiful. I imagine they believe the customer count will be off the charts with the amount of seating they now have. I wish them the best as I will not be returning at current prices.
Placed a to go order where I got two side salads with my main dishes. After arriving home and beginning to eat some of the salad I see that disgusting bug. Didn't receive a full refund even after having to come back and having the rest of the food go cold and was told "It's too much money to be refunded". As if I didn't pay that much just to find that in the salad...
