Black beans also very good as well as the rice to clean your pallet in between bites. Sweet platanos add to the great tastes of this dish. We go here to celebrate every family occasion! Literally, lol...Mother's Daysl, Father's Day, any birthday, graduations, etc. The food is always consistent, tasty, fast, and fresh! We have been coming here since they opened, and Raina is our favorite!! Best chips and salsa! Oh, if you like sweet tea....they have the best sweet tea!!! Our favorite dishes are the pallomia steak, steak burrito, chilies rellenos, beef tacos, and any fajitas! Everything here is delicious! I have loved La Bamba for over 30 years. I recently left a review for the one in Delray Beach. This location is where I fell in love with La Bamba. This is my OG stomping grounds..lol I went with a friend and we had Sangria, which I forgot how much I love. Ordered my standard Chicken A La Plancha! I see that there are six location and I'm going to hit them all up.

I’ve been to La Bama a few times and it is always a pleasure. The service is amazing and there’s minimal wait on anything you ask for . Almost non existent 🙃 This is the only place I know to have a Mexican Pizza, and it’s so worth it ! The flan was also good. The place was crowded for a Wednesday night , so that told me a lot .

Our experiences at LaBamba in Margate have been exceptional! We sit at the bar because Eunice, bartender/server, is awesome. She is attentive, friendly and is able to handle a full bar, always with a smile.

The food was brought out quickly and everything was delicious. The food was traditional cuisine that I've had in other places however this was some of the best that I've eaten anywhere. The masas (fried pork chunks) were delicious. The fajitas were better than anywhere else you'll find them. Even the drinks were above average in taste and variety. It was my first time there but I was taken by someone who eats there once a week. Now I completely understand why. I would do the same if I lived nearby.

I went in for drinks. Margarita pitcher was like $38. They are very very good but the pitcher was very over priced. Chips and salsa are complimentary. We tried all 3 sauces. I wish I would’ve went in with an appetite. Maybe I’ll go back to try the food one day.

The ladies at the bar are simply wonderful, sweet and try their best to serve well their customers. Food is very reasonably priced. Servings are generous. They offer a good variety of Mexican and Spanish favorite dishes. Good value.

The staff were not bad although I wished the waitress came to our table a few more times to refill our drinks/asking us if we needed something else. What I did loved is the wait for our order wasn't too long. As for the food, it was delicious (my NY steak had the perfect temperature and tasty). Would say it wasn't truly a spectacular experience compare to other Mexican/Spanish restaurants I have gone to locally, but it's solid enough to recommend and go again.

We stopped in here for lunch while running errands, and had a good experience. This was our first time visiting, and we were excited to try it! We were greeted immediately and taken to a booth. Our server arrived at the table to take our drink orders (I ordered the Watermelon Margarita), and left us to peruse the menu. When she returned, I ordered the El Loco Burro which is a burrito with your choice of meat (I chose ground beef), cheese, lettuce, tomato, and melted cheese. It comes with a side of rice and refried beans. The margarita was good, but could have been more flavorful. The burrito was very tasty, and was cooked perfectly! Overall, this place is good! The employees are friendly, the menu has ample selections, the food is good, and the prices are fair. I would visit again!

I came here to meet some friends after work. And this is the second time I have come here and the food is just not very impressive. Although the service is nice is missing something. My friends were happy with their selections, especially since they were enjoying the happy hour. But when you don't drink and are more aware of things, you can tell if something is great or if it is just ok. And the food is just ok.

Our visit here started great with very attentive staff and welcoming chips. However everything turned when the food arrived. Good food presentation but the flavor is just not there…. The refried beans were bland, the chicken in the burrito was extremely dry, steak burrito was not seasoned and the chicken tenders were also bland. I gave it a 3 stars because of the service and customer service.

This has to be one of the most unfortunate experience that I've had in a restaurant. The hostess was very nice and she got us a table for two. When our waitress Paula asked us for drinks I wanted to get some horchata which she said they didnt have. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day but I definitely noticed some attitude from the beginning. So I said okay lets get a couple drinks instead. The watermelon margarita was amazing but unfortunately it was obcured by this situation so we decided to eat in a different restaurant after finishing our drinks. I can understand if someone is having a bad day; however, this should never reflect on custumer service

They have no respect for customer concerns as to poor rake out packaging in cheapest container. Our family had similar problem yesterday and when I spoke with the manager he said "Si" "Si"... Eating in is noisy but acceptable most hours... Take out needs improvement the packaging with Styrofoam containers leaks all over in the cheap bags and the trunk. Besides these are totally poor for environment as these containers will take years to biodegradable of ever. Check the photos of the condition of the quesadillas when we opened the container. Rope Vija had leaked all over. The county, State and city government should enact laws to stop these containers. La Bamba let's respond and get better containers. New review...12.28.25 Disaster with takeout containers same problems...I guess the ma agement at this location is not at all responsive or just too arrogant, the location in Delray after being advised immediately changed the takeout containers that are sturdy and do not leak. When I mentioned this the answer was "well we tell management" and one positive development I was told they changed takeout containers for 2 items that have sauce such as Ropa veija so they realize the issue but will not respond 100% just 10% they do not deserve success...if it was not for my young grand kids wanting their food, BTW I have no issue with the food only we lose half of it, attached are photos from black beans... I think City of Margate needs to ban Styrofoam being used...that will be my next focus...

Place to go order and requested a substitution for a burrito topping. The burrito came with a beef sauce requested that it be the cheese sauce. Was willing to even pay for an upgrade. Extremely disappointed with my experience here. I came in and ordered two burritos and they were the worst burritos I’ve ever had. I cannot believe I paid almost $60 for two burritos and a side of guacamole. That does not include tortilla chips. Ludacris never coming back.

Every time. Every single time! I just cannot understand why you guys put tostadas in a styrofoam container for take out. Is it really that hard to use a vented container, or wrap them in foil? Nobody that orders a tostada wants to sit down to a soggy shell under the toppings. If I wanted a salad I would have ordered that instead. I’ve been eating here since I was in my teens. I’m 38 now and I will continue to eat here, but seriously… When I order a tostada the least you can do is make sure it’s crunchy.

Terrible service from one of the servers. The bald guy who used to be a bartender and is now serving took forever just to come over and ask what I wanted to drink. After finally taking my drink order, he completely disappeared. I waited over 15 minutes and he never came back, never checked on me, and never brought the drink. Thankfully the bartender was awesome and helped me right away.And I think it was the manager who apologized because he saw when I walked in the restaurant But the service from that server was rude and completely inattentive.
