Trattoria vecchia fornace Mariano Comense Reviews
I recently dined at La Vecchia Fornace and was very impressed! The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients, and the homemade pasta was delicious. The desserts, in particular, were fantastic! The location, surrounded by greenery, is perfect for a special evening. I highly recommend La Vecchia Fornace.
Went for lunch and was very pleased with both the buffet and the main course (pork with potatoes, which I tried for the first time), and very pleased with the dessert, which a friend recommended to me: zuppa inglese. The place was also very beautiful and quaint. Compliments for everything. Highly recommended.
Feel pampered and experience the most pleasant sensations in a simple, familiar, and unique atmosphere. Meticulously prepared, high-quality food and attentive service from the attentive and helpful waiters are second to none. Simone and the entire team deserve special praise. WELL DONE!
A delightful trattoria in a green setting, with an indoor dining area and a covered veranda. For lunch, choose from an excellent buffet with appetizers, a choice of two first courses and two second courses, or the dish of the day. Followed by fruit and dessert. Excellent value for money.
Themed evening with Cazzoela! We visited this beautiful and characteristic location with a group of friends. The place: entirely in Lombardy style, with many wooden details reminiscent of the traditions of the area—we're in Brianza—from the furnishings to everything else, all rigorously crafted by woodworkers. We were here in the evening and in the winter: a shame, because they also have a lovely outdoor space, very well-maintained and equipped for the warmer months. The food was good and truly traditional, both in terms of service and quality; some people also ordered other dishes, fish and more. They do everything, and everything is well prepared and presented with terracotta dishes. The service is fast and attentive, under the supervision of the owner, who is always attentive and helpful. Good value for money, we'll be back in the summer. I recommend it to everyone, at least to try it.
I spent two days in Monza, and a friend recommended this place. It was a pleasant surprise; a restaurant surrounded by greenery, serving modern and carefully crafted Brianza cuisine, with a good, though not overly extensive, wine list. The service was friendly and quite fast, considering the place was completely packed (even though it was a Monday night; reservations are recommended). The off-menu fritto misto was good; the asparagus and guanciale ravioli were good; the semifreddo was excellent—all dishes are documented in photos.
Lovely place to visit if you know the area are local. My friend took me there as a treat Food was amazing and very affordable for the plate sizes you get. I recommend you go on empty stomach Staff were so helpful from every angle that they could be to help assist even give recommendations on food selection

We found the atmosphere to be very refined, the staff attentive but not intrusive. The portions were generous and delicious, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. Vegetarian dishes, varied menu. The atmosphere is quite intimate, which we particularly liked, and the prices are below average. Recommended!
Was there for a business meal. All dishes were perfect. Including the dessert and espresso. Top location
Amazing taste
Posto molto familiare. Servizio attento e personale gentile.
Excellent attentive and fast service, good and plentiful dishes, only flaw: few vegetarian options, desserts are average
Beautiful location surrounded by greenery and tranquility. A well-maintained restaurant suitable for a variety of occasions, especially small ceremonies and events. The quality of the food is unquestionable: top-quality ingredients and excellent presentation. The only flaw is the sometimes somewhat limited quantity. The quantity-to-price ratio is acceptable. Service is a bit slow.
Surrounded by greenery, we found ourselves in this quaint place. The atmosphere is lovely, with an outdoor area where you can stroll and breathe in the fresh air. In addition to the à la carte options, the menu offers a meat menu for €32, a fish menu for €36, and a vegetarian option. There's a wide selection of wines from various regions. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The only downside is the long wait between courses. It's important to keep people from stuffing themselves and to let go of what they've just eaten, but in my opinion, 20 minutes or more between courses is too long.
The food was good and plentiful. The only thing I didn't like was that they served me a strudel that went from frozen to partially charred, mixed with ice cream and cream to disguise it. It was enough to say that the strudel wasn't available, since it took a good fifteen minutes to thaw. The location was a bit dark and not well heated given the evening...
