Siips Boba Maspeth Reviews
I really like this place and order the grub hub specials a lot. The kani onigiri is my favorite. The ramen is also good, and I like the size of the bubble tea you get with the lunch special. It’s just the perfect amount to have with your lunch, so I don’t have to get an entire large thing of bubble tea. Great food!!
The shrimp tempura onigiri is delicious. I love the “BUY2GET1FREE” on any kinds of onigiri. Boba is also really good, my partner likes the iced caramel latte and adds boba. I love the mocha oreo boba!
The black sesame slush is amazing and addictive! Please get it now. You won't regret it. It has a subtle milky nutty taste that is just perfect. Service here is pretty fast and the workers are friendly as well.
Great spot! So it’s kind of out of no where and super unexpected but so glad to have found it. The service was great, kind and friendly and super helpful when making a choice!! Clean and welcoming. They also have soooo many choices of different kinds of bubble teas, slushy etc.
Always an amazing experience, my son and I come here after school often.. we come for the onigari and bubble tea. Manager and boss are so friendly ! Always some kind of promos going on. Staff is also friendly. We just did a seamless order and it came super fast!
My son’s favorite go to place. He got me hooked into onigiri & the drinks. So close to where I live & had no idea. It’s a gem in our area. Tried couple of other food from there since my son literally gets the food everyday. Loved it. So many good selections and the drink menu is unbelievable. Definitely trying all the drinks. So happy my son found this place.
FINALLY A PROPER JAPANESE CURRY! I've tried several restaurants katsu curry and they give you teeny amount of curry, like it's a dipping sauce, something slightly bigger than a serving of honey mustard. Here they give you a full pint(half a quart)! For place that's mainly bubble tea I was expecting a snack size bowl, not a full dinner set. It came with miso soup and a salad, the bowl had a large cutlet and what would be two+ serving of rice. I really thought they were giving me wrong order when I had one item and they gave me a giant bag of food. It was $14 but I've easily seen other places charge $18-24 for similar. The store was neat and clean, they had bunch of Japanese snacks and candies near the front, 4 monitors of the various drink options, and two monitors of food options on the back wall. I asked them not to put napkins or utensils and they complied, so you know they pay attention to their work and customers. Definitely a place I'll go again
Y’all girl be all over NYC catching the dopest places. First time having bubble tea and I wasn’t disappointed. The boba balls( big pause ) isn’t my thing but damnnnn she makes a great milk tea. The location itself is super cute and they had these wooden benches that I was very pleased with being a bbw and all 🥰 I would come here for cute date or just to vibe and eat ^-.-^• Thanks for being so warm and welcoming as I am a queer POC and the owners was super sweet and friendly to my partner and I!! I used to go to school down the block about 15 years ago and it warms my heart that it’s still a lovely area Can’t wait to try some display treats 🥰
There’s a great variation of tea flavors, fruit tea, milk tea and more. They also have snacks/candy, mini cakes and other pastries. The tapioca is served soft and warm, indicating it’s freshness.
love this place, good bubble tea and many unique flavors!! they also have refreshing slushees <3 their prices are not bad either
The drinks themselves here are not that high quality, but I'm just so happy that they decided to open this shop in a bubble tea void! The shop is really cute with lots of different Asian snacks and drinks. The drinks are comparable to other chains like Vivi's and Kung Fu Tea except it's so much cheaper. Love this place just for that!
Good tea and reasonably priced! I got the lavander peach tea. They also had cakes, macaroons and muffins. ------ Update: prices have slightly increased like everything else in the world due to inflation, but I didn't get the chance to take a picture of the new menu. They are still super nice, will continue to come here every other week 🙂
Love the drinks! I got the mango green tea galaxy with lychee jelly. The drink looks so cool!
Best bubble tea in the area !! We love going to siips it's so convenient and the rewards are great. Our usual go to is taro coconut, passion fruit or mango slush and snacks. Absolutely delicious!

Simple, tasty, never lacking. What more can you ask for right? Straight to the point and nothing super duper fancy. I like this spot.
probably my favorite bubble tea spot in the city, if i didn't live close by i'd still think it's worth the trip 😁 the staff are all great, kylie's an angel and makes the best drinks 🧋 10/10 all around please give this place some love
I remember when they first opened and sold rice balls. But then they stopped. So glad they brought them back. I’ve tried other places but I think Ssips has the best rice balls. I’ve recommended their rice balls to everyone I know. Also, my son loves the bubble tea drinks from this place. He’s tried every single one and loves them all though he has his favorites. Their teriyaki chicken is also so tasty, so delicious!
This place is fire. I got my drink fast and it tasted great. No complaints at all.

Pork with curry is pretty good! Chicken bento box was ok, the chicken was a bit dry.

staff were nice.. good food and drinks.. we'll be back to try more of their food and drinks.. good service..
I ordered popcorn chicken and rice balls to go. When I arrived home and opened the food, I was disappointed to find that the popcorn chicken was completely burnt and inedible. Mistakes can happen in any kitchen, but it was surprising that food in that condition was approved to leave the restaurant. The rice balls were actually very good, and I had no issue with them. However, since the chicken was not edible, I called the restaurant to request a refund for just that portion of the order. The staff member who answered the phone was polite and genuinely tried to help, but after speaking with her “boss,” she informed me that they do not offer refunds on food. She then returned to tell me I could instead come back the next day to receive another order of popcorn chicken. I explained that I didn’t feel comfortable returning for a replacement if that kind of food was allowed to leave the kitchen the first time around and preferred a simple partial refund. At that point, I was given a different explanation — that because the order was paid by credit card and I was only asking for a partial refund rather than a full one, it "wasn't possible." This reasoning didn’t make sense, as I also manage a restaurant and am familiar with the Clover POS system they use. A partial refund or void since it was same day is entirely possible, just as it is on Square or Toast. The issue wasn’t technical limitation; it was a refusal to take responsibility for a clear mistake. To make matters worse, I could hear the “boss” in the background speaking unprofessionally while the staff member tried to communicate with me. I would have been happy to remain a customer if the situation was handled with honesty and accountability. The rice balls and boba I’ve had in the past were good, but the unwillingness to provide even a simple resolution, paired with inconsistent explanations, made this a disappointing and unprofessional experience. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
Ordered the combo which says comes with 12oz milk tea but this is what was sent. Scammed will not be ordering here again. For reference it fits in the one cup measuring cup.
