On the outskirts of Mazan in a small vineyard you will find this unpretentious and superb, recently renovated restaurant. Owned and managed by a husband and wife team they serve up beautifully presented, simple, fresh and flavourful dishes. If the weather is good you can eat on the terrace and if not you have the option of the cosy indoor dining room. If you want a delicious, value for money lunch with efficient, friendly service then make the detour from the tourist hotspots and visit this place. Excellent communication through WhatsApp. English also spoken.
Mooi aantrekkelijk lunch menu, zelf samen te stellen uit 3 voorgerechten 3 hoofdgerechten en 3 desserts. Restaurant binnen is sfeervol maar de acoustic vraagt wat aandacht. Waren er met 4 personen, maar soms konden we elkaar niet verstaan, tenzij door zeer hard te praten, maar dat gaat dan iedereen doen. Mooie opgemaakte gerechten en heerlijk van smaak. Een aanrader

Restaurant entouré de vignes au calme avec un grand parking . Très bon rapport qualité prix et délicieux. Service impeccable . Personnel très sympathique. rien à redire Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

What a find in Mazan... Looked to book for a birthday meal and not let down. Food was fantastic - Chunky pork terrine to start with then a roast pork chop for him and st Pierre (John Dory) for me. We then succumbed to desserts... Very nice indeed. Will definitely be returning here next time in Mazan. Oh, and great attentive service too including the little helper! :-) ********** Sept 2025... A return visit to Le R - as we said we would... As before, fantastic... Food was amazing - a lovely simple but well balanced menu for you to choose from.... 3 entrees, 3 plats principal and 3 desserts. All our choices were so tasty... Chinese salad and fish crostillante, garnished well too... Then the tagine and beef maybe... Miam! Too good so a dessert to share... Very reasonably priced too for the quality of the meal. Lovely personal service too.
