Very cool
First time I went here was around 2am some months ago and this is what Mazatlan is all about: banda, beer, and good times. By far one of my favorite places to be in Mazatlan. The second time, got here around 12am and stayed until closing (around 4am) and again: banda, beer, and another good time. This is located in the golden zone which I would expect to be very expensive but for the price it is reasonable. I believe I paid about 20 (pacifico light and ultras mix) beers for 1200 pesos which compared to the USA is such a killer deal. The entrance was about 200 pesos, I forget, but this is the place I would want to come back to enjoy a good place with music that will leave my ears ringing with the noise of brass and percussions. This may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I took care of my mesero and my mesero took care of me, meaning, my beers were open whenever they would see I am almost out of beer.

I didn't like it personally.
I went with a friend. We ordered a bucket of beer. We each had two beers. I went to the bathroom and my friend went to talk to someone. When I came back from the bathroom, our bucket was gone. They had taken it. There were six beers in the bucket. But they took it. I asked the waiter, but he said he thought we had already left and didn't bring our beers back. What makes me even angrier is that they lost my tip when I bought the bucket and gave them a 10% tip. And that's how they repaid me.
You have to pay a cover charge and you haven't even entered yet, and they're already demanding a minimum consumption. It's a shame they do that because there are tourists who don't drink enough to buy it and leave it there.
