I was surprised how good the food was. I got the mar y Tierra and my bf got the tampiequena and both were bomb! The server was great and attentive. We got the guacamole app and it was HUGE! totally worth. The prices were not bad and good for the quality we got. I was surprised how fast the food came out. It tasted homemade for sure. Recommend!!!!!

I think it is over rated… all because of the tiktok videos I guess they hype it up too much… it’s also over priced… we got like 3/4 servers, each time a new one kept coming and when we wanted something we didn’t know who to ask for because we didn’t know who it was… and while we ate they only went once to the table to ask if everything was okay. The food was good but not for the price, I guess as a one time thing to get the experience is okay.

The food here is absolutely delicious, and the customer service is some of the best around. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Food was flavorful, waitress was polite. Other staff members seemed to be upset or concerned that i was eating there. Not sure if it was because I wasn't dressed more refined or what the reason, but I paid my bill before I finished my food and left. Definitely not the first impression I was hoping for having driven 4.5 hrs to eat.

We were so excited to try this place. I guess we were marketing victims here! We were also really disappointed. The booths were old and the leather had holes. The floor was sticky and dirty and the bathrooms too. Our waiter was amazing so he got 5 stars. The food was swimming in butter. The arrachera was salty. My beet salad had old arugula and dried chicken. The ribeye was good but that was about it. The only great thing was dessert. All of this for almost $400!!! We felt like we were robed really… never coming back.

I was excited to visit this place but I ended up pretty disappointed. It was not as I expected. 12 oz ribeye ($50) was too bland… asparagus and mashed potatoes were ok… queso fundido with mushrooms were not up to my liking either, tortillas were a total fiasco… only the green salsa was acceptable. Gin Berry and Madre Jarrito were good drinks, mostachon and cafe instantaneo didn’t make it out to be better either. I tried to have a good experience but it was not the case. Next morning I was sick… not pretty at all…Waiter charged me twice for the dessert and manager to avoid reopening the check to fix it advised to just give me cash back we’re waiter gave us $12.00 even back when dessert costs $12.99 + taxes , wife wanted me to say something but I just wanted to leave the place. I left a 20% tip because I am who I am but the place needs to live up to its reputation and some staff needs retraining… some others were at point… not our waiter though…

My fiancé had reserved it for my birthday and they were giving us a hard time about the reservation when we got there. The table wasn’t ready so we were behind schedule and most of my family had made plans to come during their lunch break from work so they were only able to get their food and leave. The food took more than 45 minutes to come out, leaving some of my family to just get to go plate before heading back to work. Our waiter was no where to be found. He never checked on us if we wanted more refills or needed anything else. We had to stop waiters to ask for things since our server never showed up. I used to love this place which is why i came for my birthday but after this I will never return. It defeats the whole purpose of a reservation and you’re spending a lot for service that isn’t worth it !!!

My husband and I waited about 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge us after we sat down. We pretty much had to be hunting down our waiter to order and he NEVER stopped to ask how we were doing with drinks or with our food. We ordered an appetizer (papas a la diabla) and my husband was still eating off his plate when the waiter got to our table with our dinner and the waiter took my husband's plate WHICH HE WAS STILL EATING OFF OF and took it away to set the dinner on the table. I also found a long black hair in my casa madre chicken breast. First and LAST time we come here.

The dining experience was unsatisfactory due to the high cost relative to the quality of the food. Communication was challenging due to the language barrier with the service staff, hindering the ability to seek recommendations. The al pastor tacos and Casa Madre chicken breast, while visually appealing, lacked flavor and were bland.

Got the ribeye plate and it was overcooked and had no flavor. The steak quesadillas were fire though, and the nonalcoholic drinks were solid. The latte and cappuccino were great too. Dessert we got the stuffed concha and it was just okay. Honestly, the food looks better than it tastes. For what we paid, we should’ve just gone to a steakhouse. Also, the AC is always an issue here —last weekend it was so hot we left, and this time it was still warm and stuffy.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was great — very friendly and attentive. We came during the week and it was dead, which probably should have been a sign. The food, unfortunately, was disappointing. My salmon was overcooked (though the vegetables were well seasoned), and the ribeyes were tough and bland — half our table didn’t even finish theirs. The guacamole with pork rinds was good, but it’s hard to mess that up. They did a nice birthday show for us, but overall, for the price, it’s not worth it. Good service, but the food just isn’t there.
